Installing the 2nd unit EPROM

1. First, turn off the printer and unplug the laminator’s power cord. Remove the back cover by removing the 6

screws, 2 on each side and 2 on the back (Fig 1).

2. Remove the standard ver 1.5 EPROM from the socket (Fig 2) and insert the 2

rear cover after EPROM insertion.

Installing the Y Cable

1. First, connect the printer end of the cable to the laminato r port on the back of the printer (Fig 4).

2. Next, connect the first and second laminator as shown in Fig 5.

3. Once you connected both units to the cable, the completed configuration should look exactly like the picture in

Fig 6. Plug in the power cords for the laminators and the printer. You may now power up the printer. The
printer will automatically detect both units and will add the second unit in the user mode as “Heat Roller 2” for
configuratio n purposes.
