WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSVORSCHRIFTEN
Lesen Sie aufmerksam die Gebrauchsanleitung, bevor Sie Ihr Gerät benutzen, und befolgen Sie

Benutzen Sie ausschließlich kaltes oder lauwarmes (Trink-)Wasser. Benutzen Sie kein Wasser
aus Badewannen, Waschbecken oder anderen Behältern.
Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie sich nicht verbrühen, da beim Kochvorgang Dampf aus dem
Kaffeefilter austritt.
Benutzen Sie zum Entkalken ausschließlich Essig oder hierfür vorgesehene Produkte.
Benutzen Sie niemals Ammoniak oder andere Produkte, die Ihrer Gesundheit schaden
könnten.
Schalten Sie Ihren Kaffeeautomaten nicht an, ohne Wasser eingefüllt zu haben.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur, wenn die Thermokanne nicht beschädigt ist. Benutzen Sie die

Spülmaschine um sie zu reinigen, da ansonsten Ihr Garantieanspruch erlischt. Wir

Geben Sie ausschließlich gemahlenen Kaffee in den Filter.
Vergessen Sie niemals, dass der von der Maschine zubereitete Kaffee heiß ist. Bewegen Sie

ANWENDUNGSBEREICH/TÄTIGKEITSBEREICH
• Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur zu Haushaltszwecken, wie in der Bedienungsanleitung
angegeben.
• Dieses Gerät ist bestimmt für Haushaltsanwendungen und ähnliche Nutzanwendungen
wie:
ERSTE INBETRIEBNAHME
• Vor der ersten Kaffeezubereitung führen Sie bitte 2-3 Kochvorgänge mit frischem Wasser
durch (ohne Kaffeepulver).
• Ist das Wasser durchgelaufen, schalten Sie das Gerät ab und wiederholen den Vorgang
nach ca. 5 Minuten mit frischem Wasser.
KAFFEEZUBEREITUNG
STELLEN SIE DEN DECKEL NICHT AUF DIE KANNE, WENN SIE DAS GERÄT IN BETRIEB NEHMEN.
• Öffnen Sie den Deckel des Wassertanks.
• Füllen Sie die gewünschte Wassermenge mit der gläsernen Kanne in den Wassertank ein.
Überfüllen sie den Wassertank nicht, indem Sie das Maximumniveau auf dem Wassertank
respektieren. Die Anzahl der Tassen lesen Sie an der Wasserstandskala ab.
• Bringen Sie den Filterträger in die Kaffeemaschine ein. Fügen Sie einen Filter hinzu und füllen
Sie ihn mit der gewünschten Kaffeemenge auf.
• Vergessen Sie nicht den Deckel des Wassertanks zu schließen und die Kanne (ohne Deckel)
auf die Platte zu stellen bevor Sie das Gerät einschalten.
• Drücken Sie auf den Schalter um das Gerät anzuschalten. Die Kontrollleuchte des
Schalters geht an, und zeigt also, dass das Gerät in Betrieb ist.
• Eine Tropf-Stoppautomatik verhindert, dass Kaffee auf die Platte tropft wenn die Kanne
entfernt wird; der Tropf-Stopp wird wieder geöffnet, wenn Sie die Kanne auf die Platte
zurückstellen.
• Nach Beendigung des Brühvorganges warten Sie, bis der Filter leergelaufen ist bevor Sie
die Kanne entfernen.
• Warten Sie, bis der Kaffee völlig durchgelaufen ist und der Filter leergelaufen ist. Schalten
Sie dann das Gerät aus, indem Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter auf Stellung « 0 » setzen, und
ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose.

• Entfernen Sie die Kanne und schrauben Sie den Deckel auf die Kanne. Um den Kaffee
auszugießen, brauchen Sie den Deckel nicht loszuschrauben; Sie brauchen nur auf den
Hebel, der herausragt, zu drücken.
• Mit der Thermoskanne können Sie den Kaffee eine geraume Zeit warm halten.
ENTKALKUNG UND REINIGUNG
• Wenn Sie bemerken, dass der Brühvorgang länger als normal dauert, sollten Sie den
Kaffeeautomat entkalken. Warten Sie nicht, bis es noch schlimmer wird. Wie oft Sie die
Kaffeemaschine entkalken müssen, hängt von der Häufigkeit des Gebrauches und der
Kalkmenge im Wasser ab und ist daher von Benutzer zu Benutzer unterschiedlich.
• Eine regelmäßige Entkalkung führt zur Verlängerung der Lebensdauer des Gerätes.
Verwenden Sie hierzu nur handelsübliche Entkalkungsmittel und beachten Sie die
entsprechenden Gebrauchsanweisungen. Danach mit klarem Wasser zweimal ohne
Kaffeemehl nachspülen (2 Kochvorgänge) – nicht entkalkte Geräte sind von der Garantie
ausgeschlossen.
• Stellen Sie niemals das Gerät oder das Zubehör in die Spülmaschine. Reinigen Sie die
Kaffeekanne mit Seifenwasser.
• Die Plastikteile wischen Sie am besten mit einem feuchten Tuch ab.

Zum Schutz unserer Umwelt und unserer Gesundheit sind Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte nach
bestimmten Regeln zu entsorgen. Dies fordert den Einsatz sowohl des Herstellers bzw.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance, and always follow the
safety and operating instructions.
Important: People (including children) who are not able to use the appliance in a safe way,
due to their physical, sensorial or mental capacity or their lack of experience or knowledge,
must never use the appliance except if they are supervised by a person responsible for their
safety or if they previously received instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance.
Close supervision is necessary to prevent children from using the appliance as a toy.
Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the rating plate of the
appliance.
Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
From time to time check the appliance for damages. Never use it if the appliance or its
cord shows any signs of damage but have it repaired by a competent qualified
electrician (*). Should the cord be damaged, it must be replaced by a competent
qualified electrician(*).
Make sure the power cord does not come into contact with the hot parts of the
appliance.
Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these
instructions.
Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever.
Never place it into the dishwasher.

Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Stand the appliance on a stable surface
so that it cannot fall. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any way. Do not wind the
cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
Never touch the hot parts of the appliance, only touch the plastic parts and take the
thermos flask by the handle.
Make sure the appliance never comes into contact with inflammable materials such as
curtains, textiles, ... when it is in use as they might catch fire.
Only use fresh cold or lukewarm drinkable water. Never use water coming from a bathtub
or wash stand or other containers.
When removing lime scale, only use a special product for the removal of lime scale. Never
use ammonia or any other substance that might damage your health.
Never operate the appliance without water.
Be careful not to get burned by the steam evaporating from the coffee filter or when
opening the thermos flask.
Do not use the appliance if the thermos flask is damaged. Use the thermos flask only for
this appliance.
Important: your thermos flask cannot be put in the microwave oven to warm up the
coffee or in the dishwasher to clean it. We shall not be held responsible for any damages
caused by the non-observance of these instructions.
Only put ground coffee in the filter.
Never forget that the coffee coming out of the appliance is very hot. Only move the
thermos flask very carefully to avoid splashing.

Competent qualified electrician: after sales department of the producer or importer or any
person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to
avoid all danger. In any case you should return the appliance to this electrician.
FIELD OF APPLICATION/OF OPERATION
• Use the appliance for domestic purposes only and in the way indicated in these
instructions.
• This appliance is intended to be used for domestic applications and similar applications
such as:
INITIAL OPERATION
• For a perfect taste, carry out 2 or 3 boil-processes with fresh water (without coffee). These
boil-processes are absolutely necessary.
• Once all the water has passed through, switch the appliance off and let it cool down
during 5 minutes. Then repeat the process with fresh water.
PREPARATION OF COFFEE
WHEN YOU OPERATE YOUR APPLIANCE, MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT PUT THE LID ON THE THERMOS
FLASK.
• Open the lid of the water tank.
• Using the glass carafe, pour the desired amount of water into the water tank. Make sure
not to overfill by respecting the maximum level indicated on the water tank.
• Place the filter holder into the coffee maker. Put a filter in the filter holder and, add the
desired quantity of ground coffee in the filter.
• Never forget to close the lid of the water tank and to place the glass carafe without its lid
on the plate before switching on your coffee maker.
• Press the “power” button to switch on the coffee maker. The pilot light of the switch will be
illuminated, indicating that your appliance is working.
• When you remove the jug from the appliance, a non-drip valve will automatically operate
to stop any drops of coffee dripping. Replacement of the carafe automatically opens the
non-drip valve and allows remaining coffee to filter through into the jug.
• Wait until the brewing process is finished and the filter has run empty before removing the
jug.
• Wait for the coffee to be brewed and for the filter to be empty. Switch off the appliance
by putting the ON/OFF switch on « 0 » and unplug the appliance.
• Take off the thermos flask, screw the lid on the thermos. To pour coffee, you do not need
to unscrew the lid, you just have to push on the lever that protrudes from the lid.
• The thermos flask allows you to keep the coffee warm for some time.
DECALCIFICATION AND CLEANING
• When you notice that the coffee making process is longer than it should be, it is probably
time to decalcify the appliance. Do not wait until the situation gets worse. The
Kitchen corners reserved for personnel in shops, offices and other professional
environments.

decalcifying frequency depends on the amount of lime in water and therefore can be
different from family to family. Therefore it is important to pay attention to this.
• We advise you to descale the coffee maker to prolong its life span. For descaling only use
products especially made for descaling of coffee makers and follow their instruction
manual. Then rinse the appliance twice with fresh water, without coffee powder.
Guarantee claims will not be accepted for appliances that have not been descaled.
• Never use a dishwasher to clean the appliance or its accessories. Just clean the thermos
flask in soapsuds.
• To clean the plastic parts of the appliance, use a damp, non abrasive cloth.

In order to preserve our environment and protect human health, the waste electrical and
electronic equipment should be disposed of in accordance with specific rules with the
implication of both suppliers and users. For this reason, as indicated by the symbol on the
rating label or on the packaging, your appliance should not be disposed of as unsorted
municipal waste. The user has the right to bring it free of charge to a municipal collection point
performing waste recovery by means of reuse, recycling or use for other applications in
accordance with the directive.

DETARTRAGE ET NETTOYAGE
• Lorsque vous constatez une augmentation du temps de passage du café, effectuez un
détartrage complet de votre appareil et n’attendez surtout pas que la situation
s’aggrave. La fréquence de détartrage est fonction de la dureté de l’eau et varie par
conséquent selon les foyers. Il est par conséquent important de porter une attention
particulière au phénomène d’entartrage. L’entretien de votre cafetière est important
pour sa durée de vie. Pour cela utilisez un détartrant pour cafetières électriques que vous
trouverez dans le commerce et conformez-vous à son mode d’emploi. Le remplacement
d’une résistance entartrée ne sera pas pris en compte dans le cadre de la garantie.
• Nous vous conseillons de détartrer votre appareil régulièrement pour le garder en bon
état. Pour cela, utilisez un détartrant pour cafetières électriques que vous trouverez dans
le commerce et conformez-vous à son mode d’emploi. Rincez ensuite l'appareil deux fois
à l'eau claire, sans café. Un appareil qui n'a pas été détartré ne sera pas couvert par la
garantie.
• Ne mettez aucune partie de votre cafetière dans le lave-vaisselle. Nettoyez la verseuse à
l’eau chaude savonneuse et rincez-la à l’eau claire.

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig alvorens u uw toestel gebruikt, en respecteer altijd de
veiligheids- en de gebruiksvoorschriften.
Belangrijk: Personen (kinderen inbegrepen) die wegens hun fysieke, sensoriële of mentale

of andere recipiënten.
Gebruik dit toestel enkel indien de thermosfles geen enkele beschadiging vertoont.
Gebruik de thermosfles enkel met dit toestel.
Laat uw koffiezetapparaat niet werken zonder water.
Pas op dat u zich niet verbrandt aan de stoom die boven de koffiefilter en bij het openen
van de thermoskan ontsnapt.
Gebruik voor het ontkalken enkel een speciaal hiertoe bestemd product. Gebruik geen
ammoniak of andere stof die uw gezondheid zou kunnen schaden.
Belangrijk: plaats de thermoskan nooit in de microgolfoven om de koffie op te warmen of
in de vaatwasmachine om de thermoskan te reinigen. We kunnen niet aansprakelijk
worden gehouden voor schade ten gevolge van het niet-naleven van deze instructies.

Vergeet nooit dat de temperatuur van uw bereide koffie hoog is. Behandel de kan

TOEPASSINGS-/GEBRUIKSDOMEIN
• Gebruik het toestel enkel voor huishoudelijk gebruik en op de wijze zoals vermeld in de
gebruiksaanwijzing.
• Dit toestel is bestemd om te worden gebruikt voor huishoudelijke toepassingen en
gelijkaardige toepassingen zoals:
EERSTE INGEBRUIKNAME
• Laat het apparaat eerst 2 maal met zuiver water doorlopen (zonder koffie). Deze
procedure is absoluut noodzakelijk.
• Wanneer het water doorgelopen is, schakel het apparaat dan uit, laat het 5
minuten afkoelen en herhaal de procedure.
KOFFIE ZETTEN
LET OP DAT U HET DEKSEL NIET OP DE KAN ZET WANNEER U HET TOESTEL IN GEBRUIK NEEMT.
• Open het deksel van het waterreservoir.
• Giet de gewenste hoeveelheid water in het reservoir met behulp van de koffiekan.
Overschrijd het maximumpeil niet, anders zal de koffiekan overlopen.
• Zet de filterhouder in het koffiezetapparaat. Doe een filter in de filterhouder en vul hem met
de gewenste hoeveelheid gemalen koffie.
• Vergeet nooit het deksel van het waterreservoir te sluiten en de kan op de plaat te zetten
(zonder deksel) alvorens het toestel aan te zetten.
• Schakel het koffiezetapparaat in aan de hand van de schakelaar. Het lichtje van de
schakelaar zal branden om aan te duiden dat het toestel in werking is getreden.
• Wanneer u de kan wegneemt, zal het antidrupklepje zich automatisch sluiten zodat geen
enkele druppel meer op de plaat valt. Het terugplaatsen van de kan opent automatisch
het antidrupsysteem en laat toe dat de overgebleven koffie in de filter verder in de kan
loopt.
• Wacht na het doorlopen van het warme water tot de filter is leeggelopen vooraleer u de
koffiekan weghaalt.
• Wacht tot de koffie is doorgelopen en de filter is leeggelopen. Schakel dan het toestel uit
door de aan-/uitschakelaar op stand “0” te zetten en trek de stekker uit het stopcontact.
• Neem de kan weg en schroef het deksel op de kan. Om de koffie uit te gieten is het niet
nodig het deksel los te schroeven. Het volstaat op de kleine hefboom te drukken die aan
het deksel uitsteekt.
• De thermoskan laat u toe de koffie een geruime tijd warm te houden.

ONTKALKEN EN REINIGEN
• Indien u merkt dat de koffie trager doorloopt, ontkalkt u best het apparaat. Wacht
in geen geval tot het erger wordt. De ontkalkingfrequentie hangt af van het
kalkgehalte van het water en varieert bijgevolg van gezin tot gezin. Het is dus heel
belangrijk om de kalkaanslag in het oog te houden.
• Wij raden U aan het apparaat regelmatig te ontkalken. Dit verlengt de levensduur van het
apparaat. Gebruik hiervoor de in de handel zijnde ontkalkingmiddelen en volg hun
gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig. Spoel daarna het toestel met zuiver water, zonder koffie.
Een toestel dat niet werd ontkalkt, wordt niet door de garantie gedekt.
• Plaats geen enkel onderdeel van uw koffiezetapparaat in de vaatwasmachine. Reinig de
thermoskan in een warme sop.
• Gebruik een vochtige doek om de plastieken delen te reinigen.

CONSEJOS DE SEGURIDAD
Lea detenidamente el modo de empleo antes de utilizar el aparato, y siempre siga las
medidas de segurida y el modo de funcionamiento.

Cuidado: no se queme con el vapor que sale por el filtro o cuando abre la jarra.
No utilice nunca el aparato si la jarra está dañada. Utilice la jarra solo para ese aparato.
IMPORTANTE: nunca ponga la jarra en un microondas para calentar el café o en el
lavavajillas para limpiarla. Rehusamos cualquier responsabilidad si no respete esta

Ponga sólo café molido en el filtro.
No olvide nunca que el café saliendo del aparato es muy caliente. Sólo mueve la jarra
con mucha prudencia para evitar salpicaduras.

PRIMA DELL’UTILIZZO
• Quando si utilizza l'apparecchio per la prima volta, versare acqua fredda nel recipiente
(senza mettere il caffè) e accendere l'apparecchio. Quest’operazione deve per forza
essere effettuata.
• Quando l'acqua è travasata spegnere l'apparecchio e lasciarlo raffreddare per 5 minuti
prima di ripetere l’operazione 2 volte successive.
PER FARE IL CAFFÈ
QUANDO SI UTILIZZA L’APPARECCHIO ASSICURARSI CHE IL COPERCHIO NON SIA AVVITATO
• Aprire il coperchio del serbatoio d’acqua e riempirlo della quantità d’acqua desiderata.
Assicurarsi di non superare il livello equivalente a 8 tazze. Il livello (indicato in numero di
tazze) può essere letto sul serbatoio.
• Utilizzare il filtro fisso o inserire il filtro di carta e aggiungere il caffè. Attenzione: posizionare
correttamente il filtro facendolo aderire alle pareti.
• Non dimenticare di richiudere il coperchio del serbatoio prima di accendere la
caffettiera.
• Posizionare la caraffa senza il coperchio sulla base.
• Per accendere l’apparecchio, posizionare il selettore sulla "I"; si accenderà la spia
luminosa.
• Quando la preparazione del caffè è terminata, rimuovere la caraffa dal supporto,
avvitare il coperchio e versarsi la quantità di caffè desiderata premendo la levetta
presente sul coperchio stesso e tenendo premuto il coperchio anti-goccia.
• Quando si toglie la caraffa dalla base interviene una valvola antigoccia che evita la
caduta di ulteriori gocce di caffè sulla piastra. Il riposizionamento della caraffa sulla base
riapre la valvola in modo che il caffè rimanente filtri nella caraffa.
• Attendere che il processo di infusione sia terminato e il filtro sia vuoto. Spegnere la
caffettiera a caduta posizionando il selettore sulla posizione”0” e scollegare
l’apparecchio dalla presa.
• La caraffa termica permette conserva il caffè caldo.
• Consigli pratici:
• Quando la caraffa è vuota, attendere qualche minuto, poiché qualche goccia
d’acqua potrebbe ancora scendere dal filtro.

• Per mantenere il caffè caldo, togliere la caraffa dalla base e posizionare il
coperchio, avvitandolo
• Premere la leva sul tappo per servire il caffè.
PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
• Quando la preparazione del caffè risulta troppo lunga, potrebbe essere il caso di
procedere alla decalcificazione. La durezza dell’acqua incide sulla frequenza delle
operazioni di decalcificazione. Il fenomeno del calcare è da tenere costantemente sotto
controllo.
• Si raccomanda di decalcificare la caffettiera a caduta per prolungare la vita del
prodotto. Per decalcificare usare solo prodotti specifici e seguire il manuale di istruzioni.
Poi risciacquare l’apparecchio con acqua fresca, senza usare caffe. I danni per mancata
decalcificazione fanno decadere la garanzia.
• Non mettere l’apparecchio o i suoi accessori in lavastoviglie. Pulire la caraffa con del
detersivo per i piatti.
• Per pulire le parti in plastica, utilizzare un panno umido, non abrasivo.
DIRETTIVA 2002/96/CE PER LO SMALTIMENTO DELLE APPARECCHIATURE ELETTRICHE ED

OPERATII INITIALE
• Pentru un gust perfect, repetati procesul de fierbere de 2-3 ori cu apa filtrata (fara cafea).
Aceste fierberi sunt absolut necesare.
• Odata ce apa trece prin aparat, opriti aparatul si lasati sa se raceasca 5minute. Apoi
repetati procesul.
PREPARAREA CAFELEI
• Deschideti capacul rezervorului de apa.
• Folosind cana aparatului, turnati cantitatea dorita de apa in rezervorul de apa al
aparatului. Aveti grija sa nu depasiti nivelul maxim inscriptionat pe rezervorul de apa.
• Plasati suportul filtrului in aparat.puneti filtrul in suportul pentru filtru si cantitatea dorita de
cafea macinata in filtru.
• Nu uitati sa inchideti capacul rezervorului de apa si sa asezati cana fara capac pe plita
inainte sa porniti aparatul.
• Apasati butonul „Power” pentru a porni aparatul.becul de functionare se va aprinde
aratand ca aparatul functioneaza.
• Cad scoateti cana din aparat, o valva anti scurgere se va activa automat,pentru a evita
scurgerea picaturilor.
• Asteptati pana procesul fierberii este terminat si filtrul este gol inainte sa scoateti cana.
• Asteptati pana cafeau este fiarta si filtrul este gol. Inchideti aparatul apasand butonul
INCHIS/DESCHIS punandu-l pe <<0>>si scoateti aparatul din priza.
• Cana aparatului tine cafeaua calda pentru o perioada de timp.
DECALCIFICARE SI CURATARE

• Cand observati ca procesul de fierbere dureaza mai mult ca de obicei, este probabil
timpul sa decalcificati aparatul. Nu asteptati pana situatia se inrautateste. Frecventa
decalcificarii depinde de cantitatea de var din apa asadar poate fi diferita de la o
familie la alta.Asadar este important sa acordati atentie acesteia.Va sfatuim sa descalati
aparatul de cafea pentru a ii prelungi durata de functionare.
• Pentru a face asta folositi numai produse speciale pentru asa ceva si urmati instructiunile
de folosire. Apoi repetati procesul de fierbere fara cafea. Plangerile pentru garantie nu se
iau in considerare daca decalcificarea nu a fost facuta.
• Niciodata nu folositi masina de spalat vase pentru curatarea aparatului sau accesoriile
acesteia.
• Pentru curatarea partilor din plastic ale aparatului folositi o carpa umeda non abraziva.
