WR780 Bluetooth Wireless Headphones
Battery Replacement Instructions
The battery for the WR780 is contained under the access cover on the right rear side
of the headphones, as shown in this image:
1. With a pointed tweezers or scribe, press into the
soft round screw cover just below the battery
symbol on the battery compartment cover.
Carefully pry up to remove.
2. Using a T-10 Torx driver, remove the screw
holding the battery access cover.
3. Using a straightened, fairly heavy paper clip
and a pliers, fashion a small approximately
3/16 inch hook at the end.
4. Hook the end of the paper clip into the
bottom of the hole where the screw was
removed with the hook facing toward the
bottom of the access cover.
5. Pull up firmly and sharply on the paper clip
hook. This should release the clips holding the
cover.
6. Disconnect the battery using fingers or a
needle nosed pliers.
7. Remove the old battery and insert the
replacement. Plug in the connector and press
the cable in place.
8. Insert the tab on the battery cover into the
top of the battery compartment.
9. The battery cover should partially snap
into place. Press firmly up from the bottom
to fully seat the cover.
10. Reinstall the screw using the Torx driver.
11. Replace the screw cover, being careful
to orient the slot in the side with the rib of
the cover.
Proper disposal of the old battery is essential from an environmental and safety
point of view. Please follow local regulations for proper disposal. Putting any
battery directly in the trash will harm the environment.
Do not incinerate.
