Note: Please charge before first use. Normally, a long press on the Power key will power the pad on and the Home Screen will appear, but a battery icon will be shown instead of the Home Screen if the pad is low on p ower, indicating that you s hould c harg e it before u se. 1.2 Home screen

Your device includes a five page Home screen giving you more space to add your favorite apps, folders and wi d gets f or one-touch acce ss. To switch between screens, slide your finger left or right.
Lock/Unlock your screen
Once your device is powered on it shows a locked screen interface, which is set as default. Touch the locked icon, and a circle will appear around it.

Widgets Touch the Widgets tab at the top of the All apps screen, or slide the All apps screen left, to switch to the widgets interface.

Create and manage shortcuts on the desktop Touch and hold an icon on the All apps or widgets interface to make it jump automatically to the Home screen, then drag it to the place you want. Overlapped icons will create a single folder. You can name the folder by touching the tab under the icons.

1.4 Basic Operation

Power on your device Long press the Power key until the pad p o wers on. It will take a few s e conds before the sc reen lig hts up.
Power off your device
1. Long press the Power key for about 3 seconds until the options appear, select OK to power off your device.
2. Long press the Power key for about 10 seconds to shut down your device.
Stand-by mode Press the Power key once to shut down the screen but keep the product in stand-by mode. Note: without use, the product will en t er s t an d-b y m o d e au t om a ti c al l y. P res s the Power key once to wake it up.

Reset your device If your device is not func tioning: Long pr ess the Pow er key for about 10 seconds to shut d own your device. Press the Power key to restart.
Connect to a computer via USB When connecting your device to a computer by USB, select Settings\Storage\

Wi-Fi To turn Wi-Fi on and connect to a wireless network:
Touch the Application tab from the Home screen.
Select Settings\Wireless & networks\Wi-Fi.
Mark/Unmark the checkbox to turn on/off Wi-Fi.
Touch Wi-Fi. Details of any detected Wi-Fi networks are displayed in the Wi-Fi networks section.
Touch a Wi-Fi network to connect. If the network you selected is secured, you are required to enter a
pass word or ot her c reden tials (you m ay need to con tact t he net work operat or for deta ils). When finished, touch Connect. Tips: to extend battery life, turn off Wi-Fi when you're not using it.
Zoom in/out Draw your fingers together/apart to zoom in/out (Web browser, Gallery etc...).

2. Settings

2.1 Device

2.1.1 Sound You c an s et t he V olu me, T ouch sounds and Screen lock sound to your preference with the Volume up/down key, or by touching Settings\DEVICE\Sound.
2.1.2 Display Touching Settings> DEVICE >Display will show the following options: Brightness: adjust your screen to a comfortable brightness. Wallpaper: set your wallpaper. Sleep: set the Screensaver time. Font size: select a suitable font size for your tablet.
2.1.3 Storage Touching Settings> DEVICE >Storage will show the current status of memory use.
2.1.4 Battery Touching Settings> DEVICE >battery will show the current battery power and its service status.

Language & input Touching Settings>PERSONAL>Language & input en ab les you t o vi ew or set the s ystem language and input methods. Language: set the system language Keyboard & input methods: check and select all the input methods installed in the pad.

TRAFFIC SAFETY Given that studies show that using a device while driving a vehicle constitutes a real risk, even when a hands-free kit is used (car kit, headset...), drivers are requested to refrain from using their device when the vehicle is not parked. When driving, do not use your d evice or headphones to listen to mu sic or to th e radi o. Usin g a headphone can be dangerous and forbidden in some areas. W hen switched on, your device emits elec tromag n et ic w a ves t hat c an i nterf er e w it h t h e veh ic l e’ s electronic systems such as ABS anti-lock brakes or airbags. To ensure that there is no problem:
- Do not place your device on top of the dashboard or within an airbag deployment area,

CONDITI ONS OF USE You are advised to switch off the device from time to time to optimize its performance. Switch the device off before boarding an aircraft. Switch the device off when you are in he al thc are facili ties , exce p t in d esignated areas . As wi t h many other typ es of eq uipm ent now in reg ular use, t hese d evic es can i nter fere w ith ot her el ectr ical or electronic devices, or equipment using radio frequencies.

Switch the device off when you are near gas or flammable liquids. Strictly obey all signs and ins tru cti ons p osted in a f uel d epot , p etr ol st ati on, or c hemi cal pl ant, or i n an y pot ent ial ly expl osi ve atmosphere. When the device is switched on, it should be kept at least 15 cm from any medical device such as a pacemaker, a hearing aid or insulin pump, etc. I n particul ar when using the d evice, you should h old it against the ear on the opposite side to the device, if any. To avoid hearing impairment, move the handset away from your ear while using the “hands-free” mode because the amplified volume might cause hearing damage. Do not let children use the device and/or play with the device and accessories without supervision. When replacing the cover please note that your device may contain substances that c oul d c r e at e an allergic reaction. Always handle your device with care and keep it in a clean and dust-free place. Do not drop, throw or bend your device. Do not use the device if the glass made screen is damaged, cracked or broken to avoid any injury. Do not paint it. Remember to make back-up copies or keep a written record of all important information stored in your device. These seizures or black outs may occur even if a person never had a previous seiz ure or b l ac k ou t.
