9.1 Calendar
Once you enter this menu from “Tools”, there is a monthly-view
calendar for you to keep track of important meetings, appointments,
etc. Days with events entered will be marked in color.
9.2 Alarm
Your cellphone has a built-in alarm clock with a snooze feature.
9.3 Calculator
Hold down the key to get the decimal point. Confirm with the
key or the left softkey.
9.4 Fake call
Protect yourself from annoying situations with the “ Fake Call”. In this
menu, you can set “ Ca ll er name /n um be r”, “ Call time”,
“ Ringtone” and “ Image”.When the timer reaches the cellphone will
ring and display like receiving a real phone call. Press (Left softkey)
key, pretend answering a call, the screen will display just like have an
ongoing call. Press key,pretend reject the call,the call will terminate
automatically.

Place the SIM card with the chip facing downwards and slide it into its

ousing. Make sure that it is correctly inserted. To remove the card,
press it and slide it out.

This feature enables you to record a call by selecting “Sound
recorder” while communicating. To record a sound, select “Voice
memo”, then “New record”.

It will indicate how much space is used and how much is currently free
on your cellphone.

Connect the batter y charger to your cellphone and mains socket

• The charging may take about 20 minutes to start if the battery is flat.
• Be careful not to force the plug into the socket.

Make sure the battery is correctly inserted before connecting the
charger.
• The mains socket must be near to the cellphone and easily accessible

avoid electric extension cables).
• When using your cellphone for the first time, charge the battery fully
(approximately 3 hours). You are advised to fully charge the battery

• To reduce power consumption and energ y waste, when battery is
fully charged, disconnect your charger from the plug; reduce the

The charge is complete when the animation stops.

To write messages, there are two writing methods:
- Normal: this mode allows you to type a text by choosing a letter or
a sequence of characters associated with a key. Press the key several
times until the desired letter is highlighted.When you release the key
the highlight character is inserted into the text.
- Predictive with the Zi mode: this mode speeds up the writing of your
text.Write the word by pressing a key between and and

Press the key once and the word will be modified each time you press
a key. As you go on, the word will keep changing.

From the main menu select “Messages” to create text message.You
can type a message, and you're also able to insert a pre-defined message
from “Templates”. While writing a message, select “Options” to
access all the messaging options.You can save your messages that you
send often to “Drafts”.
Specific letters (accent) will increase the size of the SMS,
this may cause multiple SMS to be sent to your recipient.

e recommend thatyou read this chaptercarefully before using your cellphone. The
manufacturer disclaims any liability for damage, which may result as a consequence of
improper use or use contrary to the instructions contained herein.
•TRAFFIC SAFETY:
Given that studies show that using a cellphone while driving a vehicle constitutes a real
risk, even when the hands-free kit is used(car kit,headset...), drivers are requested to
refrain from using their cellphonewhen thevehicle isnot parked. Check the laws and
regulations on the use of wireless cellphones and their accessories in the areas where
you drive. Always obey them.The use of these devices may be prohibited or restricted
in certain areas.
When driving, do not use your cellphone and headphone to listen to music or to the
radio. Using a headphone can be dangerous and forbidden in some areas.
When switched on, your cellphone emits electromagnetic waves that can interfere
with the vehicle’s electronic systems such as ABS anti-lock brakes or airbags.To ensure
that there is no problem:
- do n ot place you r cellphone on top of the dashboard or within an airbag
deployment area,
- check with your car dealer or the car manufacturer to make sure that the car’s
electronic devices are shielded from cellphone RF energy.
• CONDITIONS OF USE:
You are advised to switch off the cellph one from time to time to optimize its
performance.
Switch the cellphone off before boarding an aircraft to avoid prosecution.
Switch the cellphone off when you are in health care facilities, except in designated
areas. As with many other types of equipment now in regular use, cellphones can
interfere with ot her electrical o r electronic device s, or equipment using radi o
frequency.
Switch the cellphone off when you are near gas or flammable liquids.Strictly obey all
signs and instructions posted in a fuel depot, gas station,or chemical plant, or in any
potentially explosive atmosphere.
When the cellphone is switched on, it should bekept at least 15 cm from any medical
device such as a pacemaker,a hearingaid orinsulin pump.In particularwhen usingthe
cellphone you should hold it against the ear on the opposite side to the device, if any.
To avoid hearing impairment, answer the call before holding your cellphone to your
ear.Also move the handset away from your ear while using the “hands-free” option
because the amplified volume might cause hearing damage.
Do not let children use thecellphone and/or play with thecellphone and accessories
without supervision.
When replacing the cover please note that your cellphone may contain substances that
could create an allergic reaction.
Always handle your cellphone with care and keep it in a clean and dust-free place .

o not allow your cellphone to be exposed to adverse weather or environmental
conditions (moisture , humidity, rain, infi ltration of liquids, dust, s ea air, etc.) . The
manufacturer’s recommended operating temperature range is-10°C (14°F) to +55°C
(
131°F) (the max value depends on device, materials and housing paint/texture).

ver 55°C (131°F) the legibility of the cellphone’s display may be impaired,though this
is temporary and not serious.
Do not open or attempt to repair your cellphone yourself.
Do not drop, throw or try to bend your cellphone.
Do not paint it.
Use only batteries,battery chargers, and accessories which are recommended by TCT
Mobile Limited and its affiliates and are compatible with your cellphone model.TCT

Remember to make back-up c opies or keep a written record of all im portant

Some people may suffer e pileptic seizures or blackouts when exposed to flas hing
lights, or when playing video games.These seizures or blackouts may occur even if a
person never hada previous seizure or blackout. If you have experienced seizures or
blackouts, or if you have a family history of such occurrences, please consult your
doctor before playing video games on your cellphone or enabl ing a fla shing-lights
feature on your cellphone. Parents should monitor their children’suse ofvideo games
or other features that incorporate flashing lights on the cellphones.All persons should
discontinue use a nd consult a doct or if any of the follow ing symptoms occ ur:
convulsion, eye or muscle twitching, loss of awareness, involuntary movements, or
disorientation. To limit the likelihood of such symptoms, plea se take the following
safety precautions:
- Do not play or use a flashing-lights feature if you are tired or need sleep.
- Take a minimum of a 15-minute break hourly.
- Play in a well lit environment.
- Play at the farthest distance possible from the screen.
When you play games on your cellphone, you may experience occasional discomfort
in your hands, arms, shoulders, neck, or other parts of your body. Follow these
instructions to avoid problems such as tendinitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, or other
musculoskeletal disorders:
- Take a minimum of a 15-minute break every hour of game playing.
- If your hands, wrists, or arms become tired or sore while playing, stop and rest for
several hours before playing again.
- If you continue to have sore hands, wrists, or arms duringor after playing,stop the
game and see a doctor.
Prolonged exposure to music at full volume on the music player may cause
the listener’s hearing impairment. Adjus t the volume before placing

Your cellphone is aradio transmitter and receiver.It is designed and manufactured not
to exceed t he emission l imits for expo sure to radio-frequ ency (RF) ene rgy.These
limits are part of comprehensive guidelines and establish permitted levels of RF energy
for the general population.The guidelines are based on standards that were developed
by independent scientific organizations through periodic and thorough evaluation of
scientific studies. These guidelines include a substantial safety margin designed to
ensure the safety of all persons, regardless of age and health.
The exposure standard for cellphones employs a unit of measurement known as the
Specific Absorption Rate, or SAR.The SAR limit set by public authorities such as the
Federal Communications Commissionof the US Government (FCC), or by Industry
Canada,is 1.6W/kg averaged over 1 gram ofbody tissue.Tests forSAR are conducted
using standard operating positions with the cellphone transmitting at its highest
certified power level in all tested frequency bands.
Although the SAR is determined at the highest certified power level, the actual SAR
level of the cellphone while operating can be well below the maximum value.This is
because the cellphone is designed to operate at multiple power levels so as to use only
the power required to reach the network.In general, the closer you are to a wireless
base station antenna,the lower the power output of thecellphone Before a cellphone

Your cellphone is identified by an IMEI (cellphone serial number) shown
on the packaging label and in the product’s memory.We recommend

hat you note the number the first time you use your cellphone by
entering *#06# and keep it in a safe place. It may be requested by the
police or your operator if your cellphone is stolen. This number allows

our cellphone to be blocked preventing a third person from using it,
even with a different SIM card.

Your cellphone will not be repaired if case labels or serial numbers
(IMEI) have been removed or altered.
There are no express warranties, whether w ritten, oral or im plied,
other than this printed limited warranty or the mandatory warranty
provided by your country or jurisdiction.
In no event shall TCT Mobile Limited or any of its affiliates be liable for
indirect, incidental or consequential damages of any nature whatsoever,
including but not limited commercial or financial loss or damage, loss of
data or loss of image to the full extent those damages can be disclaimed
by law.
Some countries/states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of
indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or limitati on of the
duration of implied warranties, so the preceding limitations or
exclusions may not apply to you.
Cellphone warranty..............
Your cellphone is warranted against any defect or malfunctioning which
may occur in conditions of normal use during the warranty period of
twelve (12) months

original invoice.
Batteries

and accessories sold with your cellphone are also warranted
against any defect which may occur during the first six (6) months

from the date of purchase as shown on your original invoice.
In case of any defect of your cellphone which prevents you from normal
use thereof, you must immediately inform your vendor and present your
cellphone with a proof of purchase.
If the defect is confirmed, your cellphone or part thereof will be either
replaced or repaired,as appropriate. Repaired cellphone and accessories
are entitled to a one (1) month warranty for the same defect. Repair or
replacement may be carried out using reconditioned components
offering equivalent functionality.
This warranty covers the cost of parts and labor but excludes any other
costs.
This warranty shall not apply to defects to your cellphone and/or
accessory due to (without any limitation):

conversation time standby time, and total service life, will depend
on the conditions of use and network configuration.Batteries being
considered expendable supplies, the specifications state that you
