If the battery is new, charge it before use. Battery icon will appear after charging a short time.

If IMEI sicker (commercial label) is lost but the phone can be power on, input *#2886# at dial mode and then select MANU Traceability to check date code, IMEI info, CU-REF, PTH(PTM), etc. If the phone cant power on, please read data code by using Sugar tool. Please refer to SW download process in term 4 for details.
2.9 IMEI Check
1) Power on the handset, enter *#06#
2) If the IMEI sticker in the back casing is not lost: We should make sure that the IMEI number must be the same with the one on the IMEI sticker, if not, it’s out of warranty policy.
2.10 Humidity sensitive sticker Check
If humidity sensitive label is not good, the cell phone will be considered as out of guarantee.

2.12 Accessories inspection
Accessories warranties check items:
1) Any use in abnormal temperature, other than the one specified in the user manual. Any evidence of plastic/casing melted.
2) Any mark of food or liquid around the accessory or in the USB socket.
3) Any evidence of mechanical shocked which damage the enclosure of the battery, charger or headset.
4) Any mark of tentative of disassembly the accessory
5) Any abnormal use which induce wire damage, wire broken or USB socket deformed.
2.13 Cell phone maintenance procedure
1) Check that the SIM card is set correctly.
2) Power on the cell phone.
3) If the cell phone asks to input NCK code, which means it is SIM locked, and can only be worked with dedicated SIM card. Use the correct SIM card.
4) Enter the phone code if necessary.

Press *#2886# in dial screen and then you will see the interface displaying the SW version. Select Auto” to start the auto test, or select MANU to do the MMI test manually.
If one of the tests failed during Auto test mode, it will show Test xx failed, press Next to go on test, press NO to power off and press RETEST to retest.

3.2. Precaution
The heart of the handset contains all digital circuit (microprocessor, ASIC, memories, display, keypad, etc) and the high-frequency transceiver circuit which is protected by the upper and lower cover. However, some ESD sensitive area is completely or partially visible (keypad keys, micro-SIM drive, etc). In order to prevent any risk of ESD damage during disassembly or assembly of the handset, the operator's wrist should be grounded. This picture illustrates the connection. The operator wears an electrostatic conduct bracelet which connected to an anti-static pad. And the pad place on the work surface which connected to the metal structure workbench, the whole being earthed.

Use the ampere meter to test the current of the charger.
1) Connect the power supply to ampere meter with adapter.
Power on adapter
2) Connect the cables from “OUT” on other side to handset.
Power on charger
3) Connect charger to the meter “ IN “ on the side
4) You can read the current on ampere-meter
5) The reading of the charger output should be 350 mA~550 mA
4. Software download
