Pixi4-4.5 TF ATT_VWZ ALCATEL ONETOUCH (A570BL&A571VL) is a phone with MSM8909 platform (Quad Core 1.1GHz), and BT/WLAN/MP3, social network service etc functions. If the battery is deeply discharged, battery icon will appear after charging several minutes and accompany with a slight sound.

How to use:
When to use: If you can’t start your handset or when you start your handset, there will be something wrong
with it, like can’t charge or can’t charge normally.
What does it do when you use End user format function: it will format end user area, and your handset will come back to factory model, everything you save or set in the handset (except SIM card) will be lost.

If IMEI sicker (commercial label) is lost but the phone can be power on, input “*#2886#” at dial mod e and then select “MANU” “Traceability” to check date code, IMEI info, CU-REF, PTH(PTM), etc. If the phone can’t power on, please read data code by using Sugar tool. Please refer to SW dow nload process in term 4 for details.
2.9 IMEI Check
1) Power on the handset, enter *#06#
2) If the IMEI sticker in the back casing is not lost: We should make sure that the IMEI number must be the same with the one on the IMEI sticker, if not, it’s out of warranty policy.
2.10 Humidity sensitive sticker Check
If humidity sensitive label is not good, the cell phone will be considered as out of guarantee.

2.12 Accessories inspection

2.13 Cell phone maintenance procedure
1) Check that the SIM card is set correctly.
2) Power on the cell phone.
3) If the cell phone asks to input NCK code, which means it is SIM locked, and can only be worked with dedicated SIM card. Use the correct SIM card.
4) Enter the phone code if necessary.
5) If power on, test step by step with the auto test code:
Press *#2886# in dial screen and then you will see the interface displaying the SW version. Select “Auto” to start the auto test, or select “MANU” to do the MMI test manually.
If one of the tests failed during “Auto” test mode, it will show “Text[X] xxx failed. Restart?”, press “YES” to retest, press “Next” to go on next test and press ”NO” to finish test.

I. You can get some information such as IMEI, CU-REF, PTM, Date Code, etc.

3. Replace the handset parts
3.1. Preliminary
Before any disassembly (except the antenna), the back cover, battery and SIM card must be removed firstly.
3.2. Precaution
The heart of the handset contains all digital circuit (microprocessor, ASIC, memories, display, etc) and the high-frequency transceiver circuit which is protected by the upper and lower cover. However, some ESD sensitive area is completely or partially visible (keypad keys, micro-SIM drive, etc). In order to prevent any risk of ESD damage during disassembly or assembly of the handset, the operator's

wrist should be grounded. This picture illustrates the connection. The operator wears an electrostatic conduct bracelet which connected to an anti-static pad. And the pad place on the work surface which connected to the metal structure workbench, the whole being earthed.

c) Check the Charge connector on the cell phone.

When the standard charger is connected to the cell phone, check correct running of the charge indicator on the display (refer to item 3.3.1 ).
Use the ampere meter to test the current of the charger.
