Power up
Connect your power cable to the projector, then plug it in to the
wall outlet.
Power your projector remote by inserting the included batteries.
Note:
• Pay attention to the positive and negative poles when installing
batteries in the remote control.
• When battery leaks, immediately wipe away any fluid with a dry
cloth and replace the batteries with new ones.
• Dispose of used batteries according to local waste disposal rules
and regulations of the country or area you live in.

2. The remote control light will flash red for 3 seconds, then release
the buttons and wait for pairing.
Note: Keep the remote control within 12 in of the projector.

Connectivity
DC: Connect your projector to the power source with the
included power cable.
HDMI: Connect cable box, Blu-ray player, gaming console, or
other devices to your projector using HDMI cables.
IR Sensor: Remote control signal reception.
USB: Connect a USB device to access photos, music, and movies
Audio Out: The projector has a built-in speaker that can play
audio, you can connect the projector to external self-powered
speakers through the Audio Output port.
Power on your equipment
1. Plug in the projector. The power light turns on.
2. Press the power button on the body or remote control to turn
it on.
3. The following screen appears.

Dashboard
4. Connect to your wireless network by selecting Dashboard >
Settings > WiFi.
Now you can enjoy pre-installed apps on your projector.
Connect to computer or video
device
1. Turn on your computer or video device.
2. Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the projector’s HDMI
port and the other end to an HDMI port on your video device
or computer.
3. Find Inputs from the Home Screen or Settings and select HDMI.
Bluetooth Speaker Mode
Your projector can also be used as a speaker.
1. Press button on the remote control to enter the projector
settings menu.
2. Select Bluetooth Speaker Mode and turn it on.
3. Following the instruction to pair with the preferred device.
Note: If the Bluetooth connection is not established within the time
specified, the projector will turn off the screen. You can press and
hold for more than 2 seconds to turn the screen back on to
reconnect the Bluetooth device.
You can turn off the Light-Strip in the Bluetooth speaker mode, Go to
Settings > Advanced Settings by pressing button.

Keystones & Focus
Projector's autofocus feature ensures that the projected image is
as sharp as possible without the user having to manually adjust the
projector's focus.
There are three ways to enable Autofocus on TCL Smart Projector:
1. Turn on Autofocus by going to Settings > Projector > Focus
> Auto Focus.
2. Gently move the projector to trigger the autofocus mechanism.
3. Press and hold the Focus button on the remote to
trigger autofocus.
Activate manual keystone with the following steps:
Go to Settings > Projector > Image Correction > Manual Keystone
Correction.
Note: When you power on the projector or move it to another
location, the projector automatically performs keystone correction.
You can turn on Auto Keystone Correction in projector Settings.
Ceiling installation instructions
Note: The projector accepts 1/4" thread screw for installation
purposes. Do not hang anything on the projector when hanging.

Turn off the projector and disconnect from the
power, then plug in the power cord and turn on
the projector.
• Clean the projector lens with a soft cloth.
• Use auto focus or manual focus.
• Press volume buttons on the remote control.
• Adjust the volume level of the source device.
• Check that the remote control batteries are
installed correctly. If necessary, replace the
batteries.
• Ensure you are operating the remote control
within the reception angle and range of the
projector.
• Note: the projector will not respond to
remote commands when warming up or
shutting down.
Leave off and let it cool down for about five
minutes, then do the following:
• Ensure that the vents and air filter are not
clogged with dust or obstructed by nearby
objects.
• If the problem persists, unplug the projector
and restart in five minutes.
• Ensure the HDMI Input is selected on the
projector.
• Ensure the device is securely connected to the
projector's HDMI port.
• Remove and re-insert the power adapter from
the projector.
