Connecting the Receiver to the Conferencing Phone
To connect the receiver, plug the RJ9 cable (attached to the receiver) into the microphone
port on your SoundStation console. Your SoundStation will detect the receiver and
confi gure it for use automatically.

Charging the Wireless Microphone
To charge the batteries in the microphones:
1. Place the wireless microphone onto the charging pins in one of the Charging Cradle
microphone slots. Make sure the Charging Cradle is plugged into an electrical outlet.
While using the charging cradle, the Pair / Power LED on the wireless microphone
appears red. Once charging completes, the Pair / Power LED turns to green.
Note:Polycom recommends that wireless microphones be fully charged
(LED turns from red to green) before you use them the fi rst time.

2. Plug the power adapter onto the wireless microphone.
Startup
To turn on the wireless microphone (once
it is fully charged), press and hold Mute
key for at least fi ve seconds until the
Microphone Pair / Power LED fl ashes
green. The Microphone Pair / Power LED
and the Receiver Status LED will appear
solid green when the microphone is turned
on and there is a radio link between the
receiver and the microphone. If the Pair
/ Power LED appears fl ashing green, the
microphone and the receiver may not be
paired or there may be other issues.

For the enjoyment of best voice
quality, the optimum distance for the
wireless microphones with respect
to the conference phone is highly
suggested to be within 32 feet (10
meters) range.
