Safety instructions
Due to their design and construction, TASKI machines comply with health and safety requirements of the EC guidelines and therefore carry the CE sign.
Important! Switch the machine off when you:
• e.g. carry out cleaning or maintenance work, or convert the machine to another function
• store it in a suitable room to avoid any unauthorised use of the unit
• leave it standing without supervision
By pressing the main switch and then pulling the mains plug out of the mains socket.
Store the machine in a dry, dust-free room with a corrosion-free atmosphere.
The temperature must not fall below +10 °C or exceed +35 °C. Low temperatures, damp and dust can significantly reduce the service life of the electrical components.
ATTENTION!
Before first start-up, it is essential that you read the instructions of use and the safety notes carefully.
Keep the instructions of use in an easily accessible place so that they can be consulted at any time.
Non-observance of this information can endanger people and / or cause servere damage!
Non-observance of this information can lead to malfunctions and property damage!
Important information about correct use. Non-observance of this information can lead to malfunctions!
Marks work steps which you must follow in turn.
Persons (including children) who are not able to use this machine safely due to their physical, sensory or mental capabilities or their lack of experience or knowledge may not operate this machine without supervision or instruction by a person responsible for their safety!
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.!
Do not use the machine in rooms where explosive and flammable substances (e.g. petrol, thinners, heating oil, solvents, etc.) are stored or processed. The electrical or mechanical components of the machine could lead to ignition of these materials.
While operating the machine, take note of the surrounding area and pay particular attention to third parties and children!
In case of damage to parts that could affect safety, such as the tool cover, power supply cord or covers that prevent access to current-carrying parts, the operation of the machine must be stopped immediately!
Regularly check the power supply cord for tearing or aging, and do not put the machine into operation if it is not in a safe and suitable condition!

Caution:
Attention, make sure that the power supply cord does not touch the rotating brushes!
Caution:
Take care not to damage the power supply cord by driving over it. Avoid crimping, tearing or damaging the power supply cord through heat, oil, or sharp objects!
Caution:
Please make sure that the voltage stated on the machine label is the same as the voltage rating of the plug socket!
Only use the machine on level floors or on gradients of 2% or less.
This symbol on the machine indicates that it is not suitable for use on surfaces with greater gradients.

Only use chemical products recommended by the manufacturer.
The correct dosage is recommended on the product's packaging and on the " TASKI Product Information Sheet".
Dosage:
The "Max". mark on the dosing aid shows the maximum solution filling level ( refer to Page 18).
Dosing examples (The concentration is product dependent)
Volume of moisture in the foam is measured as a percentage.
• The position of the dosing control unit defines the amount of moisture within the foam, which affects the drying time of the carpet.
Application technique
Cleaning methods are described in detail in the the "Method Card" which you can obtain from your TASKI partner.
Beginning work
Refilling the foam solution
Stair transportation

The tools thereby start to turn, and the foam solution is output in the centre of the tools.
The freshly shampooed carpet may not be walked on with outdoor shoes or shoes with leather soles.
• After shampooing, use a web-brush to raise the carpet pile into place.
Allow enough time for the carpet to dry.
• After the drying period, vacuum up the crystalline dirt with a brush vacuum cleaner.
Caution:
The hose that is connected with the quick coupler must not be removed while under pressure (for accessories)!
First slowly open the tank lid to relieve the pressure.
Caution:
Never work without foam solution, as this could damage the floor covering.
Briefly interrupt the carpet cleaning, release the switch lever on the left or the right.
The cylinder brushes then switch off so that there will be no damage top the carpet.
• Stop cleaning.
• Refill the machine as described (Page 19).
Caution:
The tank must be emptied before transporting over stairs!
We recommend the transporting of the machine up or down steps to be performed by two people.

End of operation
Empty foam solution
The disposal of the foam solution must be carried out in accordance with national regulations.
Cleaning the foam solution tank and Cleaning the vent opening / filter
Cleaning the tools
Cleaning the machine
Storage / parking of machine (machine is idle)
Store the machine with the lid slightly open.
This allows the tank to dry out. As a result, the formation of mould and unpleasant smells can be reduced.
Service, maintenance and care
The machine's maintenance is pre-condition for trouble-free running and a long life.
Service intervals
TASKI machines are built to the highest quality standards. This is supported by internationally recognised quality control procedures. Electrical and mechanical parts are subject to wear or aging if used for long periods of time.
Service centre
Should you contact us due to a malfunction or for placing an order, please always state the type, description and the serial number of your machine.
You can find this information on the name plate of your machine, and the address of your nearest TASKI partner can be found on the last page of this manual.
