Operation
Check the battery level of the internal battery before each use.
Ensure that the connection specications for your mobile device comply with the connection data for the product (see technical data).
The USB cable is not designed for data transfer.
Remove any protective lms from the product.
a) LED battery charge status display
Briey press the function key (6) to show the battery status. The LEDs of the battery status indicator (3) display the remaining capacity as follows:
1 LED Remaining capacity up to 25 %
2 LEDs Remaining capacity up to 50 %
3 LEDs Remaining capacity up to 75 %
4 LEDs Remaining capacity up to 100 %
During charging, the ashing LED shows the current battery status.
b) Battery charging
Before rst operation, it is recommended to fully charge the product once.
Charge the portable charger at the latest when only one LED lights up or the battery charge
level falls below 25 %. Charge the portable charger via one input only.
Never use two inputs for charging.
The charger can be charged via the Micro-USB or the USB-C™ connection. To charge the
portable charger, a USB charger (not included in delivery) is required. The delivery includes a USB charging cable for connection to the Micro-USB input (1).
Connect the Micro-USB plug to the Micro-USB input. Connect the USB-A plug of the USB charging cable to a USB-A port of a USB charger (not included in the delivery). Observe the
technical data.
A USB charger with 2 A (Micro-USB input) or with 3 A (USB-C™ connection) is recommended for the portable charger’s input current. If a lower input current is used, charging takes longer. An input current higher than 2 A (Micro-USB) or 3 A (USB-C™) will not reduce the charging time, however, since the input current is
limited at each connection.
Charging the portable charger with a 2 A USB charger via the Micro-USB input at a residual
capacity of the battery of approx. 20 % may take approx. 8.5 - 9 hours. Charging with a 3 A USB charger via the USB-C™ connection takes approx. 6.5 - 7.5 hours (battery level approx. 20 %). During charging, the LEDs ash to indicate the current battery status.
As soon as the battery is fully charged, the LEDs of the battery status indicator light up constantly.
Disconnect all the cables.
c) Charging a mobile device
• You can charge the portable charger while charging your mobile devices.
Simultaneous charging of the portable charger and connected mobile devices is not
recommended, since in this case the battery of the portable charger continuously discharges. Charging the internal rechargeable battery of the portable charger then takes longer.
Through the integrated circuit (smart IC), the portable charger recognizes at the USB outputs the required maximum charging current for the connected devices.
Connect the USB-A connector of the USB charging cable with the USB-A output (2). If
your mobile device features a USB-C™ connection, you can connect a charging cable with a USB-C™ plug (not included) to the USB-C™ connection (5). Devices with a USB-C™
connection normally permit a higher charge current and thus charge more quickly than
devices with a Micro-USB connection.
The maximum charging current (3 A) is distributed to the USB outputs when both
outputs are used. Therefore, check how much charging current your mobile device requires.
Connect the Micro USB plug to your mobile device.
During charging, the LEDs remain lit to indicate the portable charger’s current battery status.
Disconnect the USB charging cable from the portable charger and from the connected device
to pause or stop charging. When the connected mobile device is fully charged or the USB
charging cable is unplugged, the battery status indicator goes out.
d) Torch function
Double-click the function key (6) to turn on the integrated LED torch (4).
Briey press the function key again to turn off the torch. The LED torch goes out.
