Operation
Check the internal battery charge level before each use. Make sure the connection values of your mobile device match those of the product (see technical data). The USB cable is not suitable for data transfer.
Remove any protective lms from the product.
a) LED indicator of the battery charge level
Press the function button (4) once briey to check the battery level. The remaining capacity on the battery level indicator (2) is indicated by gures on the LED display as follows:
25 Remaining capacity up to 25 %
50 Remaining capacity up to 50 %
75 Remaining capacity up to 75 %
100 Remaining capacity up to 100 %
The gure that indicates the current battery level ashes while charging.
b) Charging the battery
When using for the rst time, it is recommended to fully charge the product once.
• Charge the portable charger at the latest when only 25 is displayed and the battery level thus falls below 25 %.
• To charge the portable charger, a USB charger (not included) is required. A USB charging cable (Micro USB to USB-A) is included.
• Use only the Micro USB input (3) to charge the portable charger. Plug the Micro USB connector of the USB charging cable into the Micro USB input.
• Plug the USB-A connector of the USB charging cable into a USB-A port of a USB charger. Observe the technical data.
A USB charger with 2 A is recommended for the portable charger input current. If a lower input current is used, charging will take longer. However, a higher input current than 2 A will not reduce the charging time since the input current is limited.
• With a 2 A USB charger and a remaining battery capacity of approx. 20 %, the portable
charger can have the following charging times:
- Item No. / Model 1001CTF (6000 mAh): up to approx. 3.5 – 4 hours
- Item No. / Model 1002CTF (10000 mAh): up to approx. 5.5 – 6 hours
- Item No. / Model 1003CTF (15000 mAh): up to approx. 7.5 – 8.5 hours
Check the model you have purchased. While charging, the current battery level will be
indicated by the corresponding percentage ashing on the display.
• Once the battery is fully charged, the battery level indicator will be lit steadily.
• Disconnect the connected cables. The battery level indicator will go off after approx. 40 seconds.
c) Charging a mobile device
• Plug the USB-A connector of the USB charging cable into one of the USB-A outputs (1).
The maximum charging current (2.7 A) is distributed to the USB outputs when both outputs are used. Therefore, take note of the amount of charging current required by your mobile device. Observe the technical data.
• Connect the Micro USB connector to your mobile device.
• While charging, the battery level of the portable charger will be indicated by the corresponding steadily lit percentage.
• Disconnect the USB charging cable from the connected product and the portable charger to stop or interrupt charging.
• When the USB charging cable is disconnected from the portable charger, the battery level indicator will go off after approx. 40 seconds.
Care and cleaning
• Disconnect the product from connected products and from the power supply before every cleaning.
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
