Operation
Check the internal battery charge level before each use. Make sure the connection values of your mobile device match those of the product (see technical data). The USB cable is not suitable for data transfer. Remove any protective lms from the product.
a) LED indicator of the battery charge level
Press the function button (2) to check the battery level. The remaining capacity on the battery level indicator (3) is indicated by the lit LEDs as follows:
1 LED Remaining capacity up to 25 %
2 LEDs Remaining capacity up to 50 %
3 LEDs Remaining capacity up to 75 %
4 LEDs Remaining capacity up to 100 %
The LED that indicates the current battery level ashes while charging.
b) Charging the battery
When using for the rst time, it is recommended to fully charge the portable charger once.
Charge the portable charger at the latest when only one LED lights up and/or the battery
level falls below 25 %.
To charge the portable charger, a USB charger (not included) is required. A USB charging cable is included. Connect the Micro USB connector to the Micro USB input IN 2 A (2). Connect the USB-A connector of the USB charging cable to a USB-A port of a USB charger (not included). Observe the technical data.
A USB charger with 2 A (Micro USB input) is recommended for the portable charger input current. If a lower input current is used, charging will take longer. However, a higher input current than 2 A (Micro USB) will not reduce the charging time since the input current is limited.
The charging time of the portable charger can be up to approx. 3 - 3.5 hours with a 2 A USB charger via the Micro USB input with a remaining battery capacity of approx. 20 %. While charging, the current battery level will be indicated by the corresponding ashing LED.
Once the battery is fully charged, the battery level indicator LEDs will be lit steady.
Disconnect the connected cables.
c) Charging a mobile device
Never charge the portable charger while charging a mobile device from the USB
output.
Connect the USB-A connector of the USB charging cable to the USB-A output OUT 2.1 A (4).
Connect the Micro USB connector to your mobile device.
Thanks to the integrated circuit (Smart IC), the portable charger recognises the required maximum charging current of the connected product at the USB-A output
OUT 2.1 A.
While charging, the battery level of the portable charger will be indicated by the corresponding
ashing LED.
Disconnect the USB charging cable from the portable charger and the connected product to stop or interrupt charging. As soon as charging of the connected mobile device has been completed or the USB charging cable has been disconnected, the battery level indicator will
go off.
Care and cleaning
Disconnect the product from connected products and from the power supply before every cleaning.
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
Clean the product with a dry, ber-free cloth.
When cleaning, be sure to avoid contact with water or other liquids.
