The Mesh Tape Corner Smoother is used in conjunction with the Monster
Mesh™ Taper. Similar to the standard angle head that is used with regular
drywall tape, it is designed for finishing angles where mesh tape is applied.

Operation

The Mesh Tape Corner Smoother should be used to finish joints taped with
mesh tape. This tool requires little effort to operate and is designed to produce
uniform results every time. It applies joint compound with the use of a standard
corner applicator.

The Mesh Tape Corner Smoother is designed to wipe down and feather both sides of a 90º inside angle. The spring
action compensates for corners that are slightly over or under 90º and the blade design produces smoothly feathered
angles without snagging the mesh tape.

Snap the corner smoother onto the ball-end of the corner applicator and fill the applicator with joint compound. With the
nose end of the corner finisher leading, start on the bottom of the vertical angle and apply pressure to the corner
applicator, to start the flow of compound, while moving the tool along the angle. About 3’ from the floor, release the
pressure on the corner applicator and sweep it away from the angle. Then, starting at the top of the angle, pull the tool
down the angle and release the pressure when you reach the compound left on the previous pass. Now sweep the angle
applicator and corner finisher away from the angle. Ceiling angles are finished using the same methods.

Maintenance

Clean thoroughly, after every use with a brush and water (or water hose) to remove all joint compound from the tool.
Then, after the tool is clean, lightly oil with Ames Bazooka

Oil.

El Suavisador de Ángulos para cinta de fibra se utiliza junto con el aplicador de
cinta de fibra Monster Mesh™. Similar al ángulo de cabeza estándar que se
utiliza con la cinta regular para acabado de interiores, ha sido diseñada para
terminar ángulos a los cuales se les aplicó cinta tipo malla.

Operación

El Suavisador de Ángulos deberá ser utilizado para terminar uniones que han
sido pegadas con la cinta tipo malla. Esta herramienta requiere de un mínimo
esfuerzo para su operación y siempre deja resultados uniformes. La misma,
aplica la mezcla con el uso de un aplicador de esquinas estándar.

El Suavisador de Ángulos ha sido diseñado para suavizar los dos lados de un ángulo externo de 90 grados. La acción
de resorte compensa las esquinas que tienen más o menos de 90 grados y el diseño de la cuchilla produce ángulos
lisos sin enganchar la cinta tipo malla.

Enganche el suavisador de ángulos en el lado curvo del aplicador y llene el aplicador con la mezcla. Con la parte
delantera del aplicador al frente, empiece en la parte baja del ángulo vertical y presione el ángulo del aplicador para que
empiece a fluir la mezcla mientras mueve el aplicador en el mismo ángulo. A 3’ del piso, libere la presión en las esquina
del aplicador y realice un movimiento amplio de brazo lejos del ángulo. Luego empezando en la parte superior del
ángulo, mueva la herramienta hacia abajo y libere la presión cuando haya alcanzado la mezcla de la izquierda en la
previa pasada. Ahora realice un movimiento amplio del brazo con el aplicador y con el suavisador de ángulos lejos del
ángulo. Termine los ángulos de los techos usando los mismos métodos.

Mantenimiento

Limpiar meticulosamente con un cepillo y agua (o una manguera de agua) para remover toda la mezcla de la
herramienta. Luego de haber limpiado la herramienta, lubríquela ligeramente con aceite Ames
