Product Description

Conceived, engineered and built with precision in the United Kingdom, VX Series
represents the latest evolution of Tannoy’s core philosophies in professional loudspeaker
design. VX 15HP is a new evolution of Tannoy’s market-leading V15, renowned for its
exceptional performance and versatility making it a premier choice for many typical
applications. It provides a higher performance solution for medium scale sound
reinforcement such as loud fashion retail outlets and bars and clubs as well as being
well suited for portable PA applications.

The VX 15HP is built around a single 380 mm (15”) PowerDual™ driver mounted within

a rugged birch plywood cabinet with aesthetically proled edges and airnet-backed,

powder-coated steel grille. The latest higher power handling 380 mm (15”) version of
Tannoy’s exclusive point source, constant directivity PowerDual drive unit technology

ensures high power output with high sensitivity and exceptional efciency. This unique
conguration delivers optimum coverage, exceptional forward gain and excellent

acoustic impedance characteristics. The dispersion characteristics of the Dual also

enhance speaker placement exibility; allowing vertical or horizontal mounting of
single or multi-cabinet arrays without any compromise to sound quality.

Audio connection is via ush-mounted, recessed termination panel with both NL4
speakON and connector strip while an extensive range of high performance steel

mounting hardware is available, custom designed for VX 15HP and manufactured by
K&M. This includes a yoke bracket and omni-mount for wall and ceiling location as well
as eyebolt location points and a VTH top-hat for pole-mounting. Ergonomic Integrip™
recessed handle makes one and two-handed lift of the cabinet easier than ever for
optimum portability.

The VX 15HP is available in black or white textured paint nish as standard, with matching
grilles, and is also available in custom matched RAL colours as an option. A weather
proof specication (WP) is also available as an option. Thus includes LINE-X™ cabinet

outer-coating, internal prism sealing and treated transducers with perforated Grade

316 Stainless Steel grilles. All steel hardware is upgraded to Grade 304 SS, while all

connector panel points are protected by a cover plate and weather-proof cable gland.
