MICROSAT
The Tannoy Microsat satellite loudspeaker is the perfect solution wherever an architecturally discreet and compact sound system is required. The Microsat uses a single, full-range, 76mm (3”) by 127mm (5”) elliptical drive unit featuring Tannoy’s ICT™ technology.
The ICT drive unit addresses the two most common sources of component failure in background music and sound reinforcement systems; the tweeter and the crossover. ICT or Inductive Coupling Technology uses a wireless electromagnetic tweeter that does not require a crossover and cannot be burned out from heavy use or misuse.

ARCHITECTURAL SPECIFICATIONS
The satellite loudspeaker system shall consist of 1 - 3 x 5” ICT point source driver. Performance of the Microsat shall meet or exceed the following criteria; The system shall have a nominal coverage pattern of 120˚ x 90˚. Frequency response measured at 1m on axis with swept sine wave shall be 220Hz to 20kHz (+/- 3dB). Sensitivity shall be at least 87dB (anechoic) for 2.83 Volt @ 1 meter. The system shall have a nominal impedance of 8½, maximum power handling shall be 60 Watts (programme).
The plastic enclosure shall be of an infinite baffle design, finished in Grey, the front of the cabinet shall be covered by a cloth grille. Ceiling, wall and shelf brackets shall be included. The enclosure shall not exceed the following dimensions:110 x 166 x 90mm or 4 x 6 x 3 “ (H x W x D)
The loudspeaker system shall be the Tannoy...Microsat.
