Perfectly proportioned and easy to drive, a large scale
performance will be delivered with even entry level A/V
receivers and hi-fi amplifiers. Dense wood material used
for the cabinet construction, including a substantial MDF
front baffle, ensures the essential rigidity which is
fundamental within a good loudspeaker design. The Custom
upgrades to each model include high quality components,
all carefully selected to optimise the system performance,
and DMT™ damping (Differential Material Technology™).
Solidly built bass and treble units provide exceptional
acoustic performance and long-term reliability. Rich,
powerful bass and clear, dynamic mid combines with
accurate high frequency for a natural sounding acoustic
balance to reveal all the scale and impact of movie
soundtracks and the subtle nuances of complex audio

Tall and impressive, this loudspeaker uses
a 25mm (1.00”) soft dome HF, 165mm
(6.50") mid range and a supplementary
165mm (6.50") bass driver. Huge scale
dynamics combine with tight, punchy bass,
open mid range and clean high frequency
to make it an ideal solution for medium to
large home cinema or hi-fi systems,
especially in larger rooms.
The neat, compact design of the Mercury FR
Custom makes it the ideal solution not only
for rear effects / surround applications, but
also as a front stereo pair where installation
space is at an absolute premium. Pre-fitted
to the rear panel is a fixing device that allows
the speaker to be easily flush mounted to a wall.
