Please Note: If you a re using a 1st CHAIR seat section with a
different throne base, you need to find the proper position of the
Metal nut (C). To ensure the strongest attachment to the throne
rod, please make sure the two clamping pieces stay parallel to
one another while tightening. For quick adjustment to the rods
of other throne bases, please refer to the lines on the bracket
for the three most common rod diameters: inside line (19.1mm),
center line (22.2mm), and outside line (25.4mm).
Please note: If you weigh less than 110 lbs. (50 kg),
the Hydraulix models’ heigh t adjus tment m ay not work
properly.
Before you sit down on this 1st CHAIR Drum throne, please
make sure this Height lock lock ing collar is placed at the
bottom of the rod on top of the nylon bushing on the base
of the stand. If you loosen the T-nut (B) on the base with
Height lock in a floating position the s eat wil l fall down
because the threads on the rod are not holding the height.
The Hydr aulix center tube come s with a yellow Protective
Cap which prevents the tube from extending accidentally.
Please remove the ca p when you mount the seat section to
the Hydraulix center tube.
Do not push the Release button on the top of the Hydraulix
center tube by hand, because it may extend suddenly and
this could caus e an injury o r an accident. Ma ke sure the
Hydraulix center tube is mounted to the seat section firmly
before adjusting the height.
Whenever you remove the seat section from the center tube
for breaking down, be s ure to attach the Protective Cap. If
the Release button is pushed accidentally during transport,
the pipe may extend suddenly and could cause damage to
nearby objects.
Please do not lose the Protective Cap for the transportation
of your throne.
Loosen Bolt (A) and open up the tripod by moving the diecast joint to the bottom of the stand. Then tighte n Bolt (A)
securely.
(When you use your 1st CHAIR with Swivel sleeve)
First tighten the T-nut (E) until the inner surface of A verges
on that of B ( 1 ), then tighten the Metal nut (C) and Plastic
nut (D) ( 2 ). This is the standard alignment.
Loosen the T-nut (E) slightly. After place the seat ont o the
throne rod, tighten the T-nut (E).
(When you use your 1st CHAIR without Swivel sleeve)
First, loosen the T-nut (E) and remove the Pressure casting.
After removing the Swivel sleeve, re-attach the Pressure
casting. Loosen the Metal Nut (C) and Plastic Nut (D) of the Seat
mounting bracket to the point indicated by the 22.2 marker.
Loosen the T-nut (E) on the Seat bracket so you can mount the
seat section on the rod. After you place the seat on the rod,
tighten the T-nut (E) securely.
Loosen Bolt (A) and open up the tripod by moving the diecast joint to the bottom of the stand. Then tighte n Bolt (A)
securely.
Loosen the Metal nut (C), Plastic nut (D), and T-nut (E) of the
Seat mounting bracket to open up the Pressure casting.
Mount the seat section on the Hydraulix center tube. Make
sure to insert the Hydraulix center tube into the Seat holder
section a t the en d. Then tighten the Metal nut (C), Plastic
nut (D) and T-nut (E) securely so that the Metal plates clamp
to the Tube. To ensure that they attach firmly to the Center
tube, make sure that the two clamping pieces are parallel to
each other while tightening.
After tigh tening T-nut (B), sit down on the seat and make
sure the height is appropriate for you.
If the seat’s height is too lo w, loosen T-nut (B) and raise the
seat to the approximate height you feel will be right. While
still holding the seat, spin the Height lock down to the Nylon
bushing. Do not tighten T-nut (B) yet.
If the seat’s height is too high, spin the Height lock up the
same distance as you think the seat should be lowered.
Still holding the seat, loosen T-nut (B) and let the seat lower
softly. Do not let go the seat yet.
If you still need more height, turn the Height lock clockwise
(indicated as UP) while still holding the seat loosely.
If you want a lower height, turn the Height lock counterclockwise (indicated as DOWN). T-nut (B) should be loose,
otherwise the Height lock will not move. You can also spin
the seat l ike a standa rd thr eaded rod th rone in stead of
turning the Height lock.
Now tighten T-nut (B) securely.
First, sit down on the throne.
If the height is too low, pull up on the Lev er on the Seat
bracket and stand up sli ghtly so that yo u are not putting
weight on the s eat. Whe n the seat reache s the desir ed
height, simply release the lever.
If the seat is too high, pull up on the Lever while p utting
your weight on the seat. When it reaches the desired height,
simply release the lever.

て固定 して下さい 。
シートホ ルダ ー部 には、プレ イに応 じてシート 部を 自然に 回転
させるスイーベル・スリーブﾞが取り付けられています。シート部
と脚部を完全に固定して使用する際には4 のように外してご使
用下さい。
（スイーベル・スリーブを付けた状態で使 用するとき）
スイーベル・スリーブの A と B の内面が軽く接するまでT 型ナッ
ト （ E ）を 締 め（ ① ） 、 そ の 後 、A と B が 平 行 に な る よ う に 、メ タ ル ナ ッ
ト（C）とプラスチックナット（D）を締めます（②）。この状態が標準
の締 め 具合 で す。
T 型 ナ ッ ト（ E ）を 少 し 緩 め 、シ ー ト 部 に ス ク リ ュ ー ロ ッ ド を 挿 入 し
た 後 、T 型 ナ ッ ト（ E ）を 締 め て 固 定 し ま す 。
（スイーベル・スリーブを外した状態で使用するとき）
ま ず 、シ ー ト ホ ル ダ ー の T 型 ナ ッ ト（ E ）を 緩 め 、ス ラ イ ド プ レ ー ト
を 一 旦 取 り 外 し ま す 。ス イ ー ベ ル ・ス リ ー ブ を 取 り 外 し た 後 、ス ラ
イドプレートを 再度取り付 け、シ ートマウントホルダー のメタル
ナット（C）とプラスチックナット（D）を調整し、スライドプレート
の開き具合を22.2としてある目盛りに合わせます。
シ ー ト マ ウ ン ト ホ ル ダ ー の T 型 ナ ッ ト（ E ）を 緩 め 、シ ー ト 部 を ス
タンド部のスクリューパイプにマウントし、T型ナット（E）をしっ
かりと締 めて固 定して下さ い。
（他 の機種 のスタンド 部に、1st CHA IR のシート部 をマウント
する場合は、スタンド部の上段パイプの 径をご確認いた だき、
19.1mm の時は内側の目盛りに、22.2mm の時は22.2 の目盛
り に 、2 5 . 4 m m の 時 は 外 側 の 目 盛 り に 、ア ル ミ プ レ ー ト の 開 き 具
合を合わせるように、メタルナット（C）とプラスチックナット（D）
を 調 整 し て 下 さ い 。）
ス タ ン ド 下 部 の ボ ル ト（ A ）を 緩 め 、三 脚 を 広 げ 、三 又 ス ラ イ ダ ー
をハ イドロ ーリ ック ス・パ イ プの 下端 ま でスラ イドさ せ て、ボル ト
（A）をしっかり締めて固定して下さい。
シートマウントホルダーのメタルナット（C）とプラスチックナッ
ト（D）、T 型ナット（E）を緩めてスライドプレートを開きます。
シート部をスタンド部のハイドローリックス・パイプにマウン
ト し ま す 。こ の 時 、パ イ プ 上 端 の リ リ ー ス ・ ボ タ ン を 、シ ー ト ホ ル
ダー部に接 続しているレバーで押せるように、シートホルダー
部の奥までハイドローリックス・パ イプを挿入してください。そ
の後、メタルナット（C）とプラスチックナット（D）、T型ナット（E）
をメタルプレートが平行にパイプを挟み込むように調整しなが
らしっかりと 締めて 下さい。
ご使用に なる前に、必ずハイト・ロック をナイロンブッシュ
の位置まで下げ て下さい。もしハイト・ロックが上がったま
ま の 状 態 で T 型 ナ ッ ト（ B ）を 緩 め る と 、急 激 に シ ー ト 部 が 落
下 し 、大 変 危 険 で す 。 ご 注 意 願 い ま す 。
ハイドローリックス・パイプの上端 には誤作動防 止のた
めのキャップが取り付けられていますので、シ ート部を
取り 付け る際 に はキ ャップ を 外し てくださ い 。
ハイドローリックス・パイプ上端のリリース・ボタンはパイプ
の高さ調整の ためのスイッチですので、必ずシート部を取り付
け た 状 態 で 、レ バ ー で 押 す よ う に し て く だ さ い 。手 な ど で 直 接
リリース・ボタンを押すとハイドローリックス・パイプが急に
伸びる可能性 があり、ケガや 事故の原因 になります。
ハイドローリックス・パイプからシート部 を取り 外す際 に
は必ずキャップを取り付けてください。運搬中等に誤っ
て リ リ ー ス・ボ タ ン が 押 さ れ る と ハ イ ド ロ ー リ ッ ク ス・ パ
イ プ が 急 に 伸 び 、器 物 を 損 壊 す る 恐 れ が あ り ま す 。
誤作動防止キャップは運搬 時に必要ですので紛失しないよう
ご注意ください 。
ハイドローリックスは、体重50kg 以下の方では高さ調整がで
きない場合がございますので予めご了承下さい。
ま ず T 型 ナ ッ ト（ B ）を 緩 め 、適 当 な 位 置 ま で シ ー ト 部 を 持 ち
上げます。（スクリューロッドを伸ばします）。
次 に 、シ ー ト 部 を 持 ち 上 げ た ま ま の 状 態 で 、ハ イ ト ・ロ ッ ク を
ナイロンブッシュの位 置まで、回 転させな がら下げて下 さい。
一 度 シ ー ト に 座 り 、高 さ を 確 か め ま す 。微 調 整 が 必 要 な 場 合
は 、ハ イ ト ・ ロ ッ ク を 回 転 さ せ て 調 整 し ま す 。も う 少 し 高 く し
たい時はUPの方向へ、低くしたい時は、DOWNの方向へハ
イト・ロックを回します。また一般的なスクリューアップ方式
のドラムスローンと同様に、シ ート部を回転さ せることでも
高さの 微 調 整は 可 能で す。
※ こ の と き T 型 ナ ッ ト（ B ）が 緩 ん だ 状 態 で な い と 、ハ イ ト ・ロ ッ
クやシ ート部 を回す ことがで きません のでご 注意下 さい。
高さが決まったら、T型 ナット（B）をしっかりと締めて 固定し
て下さい。
シート 部に 座 ります。
シート 部に体 重を 掛け ないよ うにしな がら 、シ ートホル ダー
部に接続しているレバーを引き上げ ます。丁度 良い高さまで
上がったら、レバーから手 を離してください。
T 型 ナ ッ ト（ B ）を 緩 め 、シ ー ト 部 を 持 ち 上 げ た ま ま の 状 態 で 、ハ
イト・ロックを適当な位 置まで回転させなが ら上げて下さい。
シート部を、ハイト・ロックがナイロンブッ シュの位置に 来る
までゆっくり下げて下さい。このとき急 にシート 部から 手を
離すと、シート部が急激に落下し手を挟んだりする恐れがあ
り 、大 変 危 険 で す 。必 ず シ ー ト 部 は 、最 後 ま で ゆ っ く り 下 ろ し
ていただくよう、お 願い致します。
シート 部 に座 ります。
シート 部に体 重を 掛け なが ら、シートホ ルダー 部に 接 続して
いるレバーを引き上げます。丁度 良い高さまで下がったら、レ
バーから手を離してください。

Use a Phillips screwd river to r emove the f our screws that
secure the Seat holder on the bo ttom of the seat, and t he
two screws that will be used to secure the Base unit of the
Backrest. Sandwich the included Reinforcing plate between
the Sea t holder and the seat, and secure the Seat hol der
once agai n. (Th e Rei nforcin g pl ate i s al ready attac hed
on HT741 model, so there is no need to remove the Sea t
holder.)
Secure the Base unit over the Reinforcing plate as shown in
photo 2. Be sure the Phillips-head screws that secure the
Seat h older and Base unit are t ightened firm ly. Retighten
these screws periodically to prevent unforeseen accidents.
Loosen the he ight adju sting T-nut (F), an d align the Arm
retainer shown in photo 3.
Attach the Backrest arm unit to Base unit, and tu rn the
retainer 90 degrees with the Backrest arms sandwiched.
Tighten T-nut (F) to lock the arms in position (Photo 4).
Before storage, loosen T-nut (F) and turn the Arm retainer to
the orientation shown in Photo 3 to allow the Backrest to be
moved. Also you can fold the Backrest onto the seat without
removing for storage (Photo 5).
Loosen the height adjusting T-nut (F), and slide the Backrest up
or down to the required height. Tighten the T-nut (F) to lock the
Backrest in position.
Turn the Angle adjusting knob (G) clockwise to tilt the backrest
towards your back, or vice versa.
Adjust the angl e to a comfort able posit ion. The angle of the
backrest can be memorized by tightening the Lock nut (H).
シート部裏面のシートホルダーを固定している4つの+ネジと、
バックレストのベース部を固定するための2 本のネジをプラス
ドライバ ーで外して 下さい 。シ ートホル ダーと シートの 間に 付
属の 補強 プレ ートを挟 むよう にして、再びシ ートホル ダー を固
定します。（補 強プレ ートが 装着 済み のモ デル の場 合は 、シ ート
ホルダーを外す必要はありません。）
ベース部を補強プレートの上から写真 2のように固定します。
シートホルダーやベース部を固定している+ネジは、しっかり
と 固 定 し て 下 さ い 。ま た 、思 わ ぬ 事 故 を 防 ぐ た め に 、こ れ ら の ネ
ジは時々増し締めをして下さい。
T型ナット(F)を緩め、アーム押えを写真 3の向きにあわせて下
さい。
バックレストのアーム部をベース部にあてがい、バックレストの
アームを挟 むようにア ーム押えを9 0 度回 転させ た後、T 型ナ ッ
ト（F）を締めてバックレストを固定します。（写真4）
収納時には T型ナット（F）を緩め、アーム押えを写真 3 の向き
に戻せば バックレストのみを本体か ら取り外すことができま
す 。ま た 、バ ッ ク レ ス ト は 収 納 時 に 写 真 5 の よ う に シ ー ト の 上 部
に重なるように折り畳む事もできます。（写真 5）
T 型ナット（F）を緩 め、バックレストを上下にスライドさせること
によって背もたれの高さを調 整できます。 お好みの 高さに調整
し た 後 、 T 型 ナ ッ ト（ F ）を し っ か り と 締 め て 下 さ い 。
角 度 調 整 ノ ブ（ G ）を 右 側 に 回 し て い く と 、バ ッ ク レ ス ト を 背 中 に
向かって傾けることができます。お好み の位置に調整して下さ
い 。ロ ッ ク ナ ッ ト（ H ）を 締 め 付 け て お け ば 、バ ッ ク レ ス ト を 取 り
外しても角度をメモリーできます。

To avoid tipping over to rear when using the backrest,
ensure one leg is a facing in the direction of the backrest,
as shown in P hoto 1. Do not lean on th e bac krest any
harder than necessary.
転倒を防ぐために、バックレストを使用する際には、必ず 写真 1
のように一本の脚をバックレストと同じ向きに向けて下さい。
また、バックレストには必要以上に 強くもたれかからないよう
にして下さ い。

Loosen the Metal nut (C), Plastic nut (D) and the T-nut (E) of
the Sea t mounting bracket, and remove th e Washers, the
Pressure casting and the Springs (see photo 6).
Place the Swivel sleeve into the Seat bracket so that A fits
on the Seat bracket side and B on the Pressure casting side
(see photo 7).
After inserting the Bolts from the Seat bracket side, attach
the Springs, the Pressure casting, the Washers, the T-nut (E),
Metal nut (C) and Plastic nut (D) to the Bolts. First tighten
the T-nut (E) unt il the inner surface of A verges on tha t
of B ( 1 ), then tighten the Metal nut (C) and Plastic nut
(D) ( 2 ). This is the standard alignment (see photo 8).
Loosen the T-nut (E) sligh tly. After place th e seat ont o the
throne rod, tighten the T-nut (E).
For transport ing the thr one, the throne seat and base can
be separated by loosening the T-nut (E) slightly. The Swivel
sleeve can then remain inside of the Seat mounting bracket.
When yo u use your 1st CHAIR with Swivel sleeve, please
refer to P1 (“Setting up 2a.”).
When you attach Swivel sleeve again after replacing it once,
please refer to the following instruction.

T 型 ナ ッ ト（ E ）を 少 し 緩 め 、シ ー ト 部 に ス ク リ ュ ー ロ ッ ド を 挿 入
し た 後 、T 型 ナ ッ ト（ E ）を 締 め て 固 定 し ま す 。
収 納 時 に は T 型 ナ ッ ト（ E ）を 緩 め て ス ク リ ュ ー ロ ッ ド を 抜 き 、脚
部か らシート 部を 外してくださ い。スイーベ ル・スリ ーブはシ ート
ホル ダー 内 に保 持さ れ ます。
取り付けた状態で使う場合は、1 ページ目の組立方法3 をご参
照下さい。
一旦外してから再び取り付ける場合は、以下の手順で行って下
さい。

1st CHAIR stan dard model s and individual seats
come standard with Swivel sleeve.
The SSL22S Swivel sleeve allows drum throne seats to
swivel naturally with a player’s motion while maintaining
the security of the 1st CHAIR Sit Tight seat bracket.
Plea se remov e th e Sw ivel sle eve from the seat
bracket when you like to keep the throne seat in a
fixed position.
スイーベル・スリーブは1st CHAIR スタンダードモデ
ル専用のアタッチメントです。Hydraulix モデルには付
け ら れ ま せ ん の で 、ご 注 意 く だ さ い 。ま た 、ス イ ー ベ ル ・
スリーブは22.2mm 径のパイプ専用です。1st CHAIR
シリーズ以外の脚部を使用した場合、上部パイプの径
が異なるとご 使用になれ ませんのでご 注意ください。
スイーベル・スリーブは、1st CHA IRシ リーズの特 徴であ
るシートホルダー部の 固定力と耐久性はそ のままに、プレ
イ中の体の 動きに応じてシート部を自然 に回転させるた
め のア タ ッチ メン トで す。
シート部を固定させたい場合
は、スイー ベル ・スリーブ を取り外してご 使用くだ さい。
スタンダードモデルの1st CHA IR完 成品、及びシート部単
品には、スイーベル・スリーブが予め取り付けられています。
