ETP-PMKT Pole Mounting Kit Installation Instructions
ETP-PMKT Pole Mounting Kit consists of:
4 3/4" 1-bolt flared leg brackets (includes bracket, bolt and washer)
1 strand of 7’ long 3/4" band
2 3/4" Buckles
Connecting a Talk-A-Phone Surface Mount to a Post
You will need 2 brackets and 1 buckle to mount a surface mount to a post. Keep or discard the extra brackets
and buckle as you wish. For a vertical post, connect one 1-bolt flared leg bracket to each of the pre-drilled holes
above and below the central conduit hole in the back of the surface mount box. Each bracket comes with a bolt
and washer, which are placed through the pre-drilled holes from within the surface mount.
For a horizontal post, connect the brackets to the pre-drilled holes on the right and left of the central conduit hole
in the back of the surface mount box.
Use the enclosed Band and Buckles to fasten the surface mount box to the post. Use the Band-It Tool to fasten
the Bands and Buckles. For details of how to use the Band-It tool, see the instructions that came with your tool.
The tool is available separately as model ETP-PMKT-TOOL.

ETP-PMKT Pole Mounting Kit Installation Instructions
Connecting a Talk-A-Phone Wall Mount to a Post
Connect the Wall Mount to the post before installing your Emergency Phone. Remove the Wall Mount cap. The
cap is attached to the wall mount using #10 spanner screws. If you do not have a driver, one is available from
Talk-A-Phone as part number 42834D. A hex bit is also available, part number 42834B.
Connect one 1-Bolt Flared Leg Bracket to each of the pre-drilled keyholes above the central conduit holes and to
each of the pre-drilled circular holes below the central conduit holes in the back of the ETP-WM wall mounting
accessory. Each Bracket comes with a bolt and washer, which are placed through the pre-drilled holes from
within the ETP-WM.
Use the enclosed Band and Buckles to fasten the ETP-WM to the post. Use the Band-It Tool to fasten the Bands
and Buckles. For details of how to use the Band-It tool, see the instructions that came with your tool. The tool is
available separately as model ETP-PMKT-TOOL.
