Thank you for your purchasing the SY-TS20 Toaster. Before using the appliance, please read these instructions carefully and store them in a safe place for future reference.

Important safeguards
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.  Before using, ensure the voltage of your power supply is the same as that indicated in the
instruction manual, only connect appliance to alternating current to a correctly installed earthed socket, cord and plug must be completely dry.
Do not leave the appliance unattended during use.  Do not pull the connection cord over sharp edges; keep the cord away from heat and oil for
protection.
Do not place the appliance on hot surfaces or near it.  Do not pull the plug out by the cord or pull it out of the socket with wet hands.  During use children are not allowed to touch the appliance to avoid danger.  If the following happens, please unplug the appliance to disconnect the power supply.
--The appliance or cord has been damaged.
--The appliance has been dropped accidentally or any malfunction is detected.
Before switching on, ensure the slices of bread do not get jammed in the toaster slots.
However, if this happens, unplug the appliance first and then take out the jammed bread slice.
Caution: In the event of burning the bread, the appliance may become too hot. Never
touch the toaster at this time.
Note the housing of the toaster will become very hot when using, especially in the area of
the toaster slots. Please be careful not get burnt. Please only use the control knob, lever and button to operate.
Do not insert your fingers or metal objects like knives or forks into the bread slots.  Only use the appliance when it is horizontally placed on a suitable surface.  Do not toast the bread with wrapped aluminum foil.  Do not cover the bread slots while in operation.  Never put bread slices or bread roll into the bread slots directly, as this may cause
overheating.
Unplug the appliance before cleaning and maintaining.  Do not immerse the appliance into water or other liquid.  Your appliance must never be switched on through an external timer or any kind of
separate remote control system.
Improper use or repair may cause a risk of danger. In case of misuse or incorrect handling
or repair, no liability will be taken for possible damages.
The appliance is only designed for indoors using, not for outdoors using.  Should the cord be damaged, to avoid danger, it should be replaced by the qualified
technician of service agency or its authorized service agency.
Do not put the appliance on or near the gas cooker, electro thermal elements or hot plate
as well as other electric appliances.
Keep the appliance away from wall, curtain and other combustible material during use.  Don't place anything on the appliance besides baking bread.  Don’t use the appliance without bread for a long time. Use the appliance for domestic purposes only and in the way indicated in these
instructions.
Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.  Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever. Never
place it into the dishwasher.
Stand the appliance on a table or flat surface.
Instructions for Use
General description
1) Push Button
It is used for toasting round bread
2) Defrost Button
After pressing the button, the appliance will defreeze the frozen bread automatically. It will take about 30 seconds. At the same time, the thawing indicator light is on.
3) Reheat button
After pressing the button, the appliance will reheat the bread. If the setting for the bread browning degree is found too light the button can be pressed for reheating. At this time, the reheat indicator light is on.
4) Rotary Button
It is used to control the time
5) Cancel button
It is used to cancel the toasting process at any time
6) Crumb tray
It is used for collecting crumbs. You can slide out the tray and clean up the crumbs.

How to use the appliance
Set the control knob to the suitable position, put the bread slice into the toast slots (there should be a minimum space of approximately 15mm between the slot and the bread, otherwise, the slice will get stuck.) and press down the lever, then the toaster begins to toast. As soon as the toasting cycle is completed the slices of bread will automatically be ejected.
Suggestion: Before using the toaster for the first time, it is suggested to operate it without any bread inside and with the control knob set to grade 3 and the lever in down position to remove the heating element protection finish. At this time, the appliance will begin to emit smoke. This is normal. It is recommended to have
a good ventilation of air. After the first heating, let it cool down naturally before being used again.
Cleaning
Before cleaning, switch off and unplug the appliance and have it cool down. Remove the crumbs from the browning slots and grids with the appliance not
tilted. Then, open the door, clean away the crumbs and put the door back to the appliance.
Clean away crumbs from toaster. Remove the crumbs from the browning slots and grids with the appliance not
tilted. Then, slide out the tray, clean it and put it again into the appliance.
Outside cleaning:
Clean the outside of the appliance gently with a damp and soft cloth, and then wipe it with a dry cloth. Never use steel wire, abrasive cloth or other caustic cleaning agents, as they will damage the finish of the appliance.
Maintenance
It is not allowed to dismantle the appliance or change its cord by you. If there is
any trouble with the appliance, please have it adjusted or repaired by service agency.
During use, if any defect of the appliance is suspected, please take it to service
agency or its authorized service agency. They will check for customers without charge if the appliance can be used safely or not.
