1 General VAV-kit

The VAV duct pressure control kit is used for VAV control of air handling units. Included in the kit are: 2 pcs of pressure transmitters PTE (Pressure Transmitter Extract), PTS (Pressure Transmitter Supply), pressure outlet, tubes, electrical ca­bles (4 m) and installation instruction.
The pressure transmitters max working range is 0...1250 Pa.

2 Warnings

Danger
• Disconnect the mains power supply to the unit before performing any maintenance or electrical work.
• All electrical connections must be carried out by an authorized installer and in accordance with local rules and regulations.
• Beware of sharp edges during mounting.

3 Mount pressure transmitters

Mount the pressure transmitters in the supply and extract air ducts (figure 1) and connect according to the wiring dia­gram, figure 2.
Supply duct, connect the tube from the supply duct to +. Extract duct, connect the tube from the extract duct to -.

Connect the electrical cables to the electrical connection box.

5.1 Log in

Log in with service mode using password 0612.

5.2 Configuration wizard

A configuration wizard is available from software version 4.1. By using the wizard, the following steps in chapter 5.3 and chapter 5.4 can be omitted.

5.3 Activation

Activate pressure control.
>
Select Pressure as Fan control type in the Configuration > Function configuration > Function acti­vation menu.

5.4 Allocation

Setup differential pressure sensors.
Select I/O placement for the differential pressure sensors and set the sensors’ measuring range in the Configura- tion > I/O allocation settings > Analog inputsmenu.

5.5 Operation settings

Adjust the fan pressure set points in the Data & Settings > Fan Control > Fan setpoints.

5.6 Save local settings

When the installation is complete and all functions are tested it is recommended to save a local backup of the current configuration in the controller.
Select Yes on Commissioning settings in the Configuration > System settings > Save and restore set- tings menu.
