Treatment –
• Prior to laser treatment apply Protective eyewear to all persons present in
the treatment room.
• Address topic anesthesia on the area that will be treated by laser.
• Note – the effect of the laser depends on the individual type of skin, skin
condition, thickness etc.
• It is recommended to start treating with a long tip and then view the
treatment area and observe the reaction of the skin and assess if energy
level has to be changed.
• Conduct short (no more than 1-2 seconds) lasing, across the target area
and do not hold on one spot.
Post Treatment –
• Maintain treated area clean and dry!
• There is no need to use any dressing on the treated area, unless an
infection has developed.
• Instruct patient to not use any creams, oil or makeup on the treated area
for at least 24 hours following the procedure.
Side Effects –
• In white skinned patients Perifollicula edema may show up.
(Perifollicula edema – red spots that appear around hair follicles)
This response is normal and generally disappears within 20-30 minutes.
Cleaning and Disinfection –
• Disinfecting the aesthetic handpiece is done by autoclave according to the
instructions given in the User Manual
• Tips are disposable
Safety –
Always use protective eyewear on all present people present in treatment the
room.
Do not hold the tip while lasing on one spot. Do not perform more than 2-3
passes on the same crease.
