Chapter one: Product Introduction
This full HD two-channel recording rearview mirror is equipped with a 170-degree super wide-angle
camera which has a 20% wider field of vision than the previous model.
You can record HD videos of both front and rear simultaneously. In photographing mode, it
can reach 5 million pixels. Under video recording mode, it can be 2 million pixels, 30 frames per second
and the image is clear and smooth. It has a built-in 4.5" high brightness LCD monitor. Brightness of
monitor is automatically adjusted as ambient light changes. It also comes with a special remote
control, to make operating more simple. Other features to assist you in safe driving include
G-Sensor, motion detection, etc.

2.5 System language setting
Eight languages are available to choose from.
Under stop recording mode, press “Menu” button twice to enter system settings menu. Go to
“language” using up and down buttons, press “SEL/REC” to enter language settings menu. Use
up and down buttons to select the language you prefer, then press “SEL/REC” button to set.
2.6 Resolution setting
This car rear view mirror provides two types of video recording resolution, the resolutions
are “1080P” “720P”. Under stop recording mode , press the “Menu” button to enter video settings
menu , find “resolution” setting menu by “up” and “down” buttons , next press ”SEL/REC” button
to enter resolution setting menu, next press “up” and “down” buttons to select different resolution,
finally press “SEL/REC” button to make sure.

Under stop recording mode, press "Menu" button to enter the video setup menu. Find "date stamp"
by "up" and "down" buttons. Press "REC" to select "Off" or "On" date stamp. Open date stamp, dates
can display on the video recorded by the rear view mirror, so setting the time is very important.

European customers needn’t choose the first option, press up or down button to enter blank
option, press the “SEL/REC” button to confirm the first option and switch to second option at the
same time. The second option is letter input by default. If you need number input, long press
“SEL/REC” button . Next press up or down to change to different numbers or letters. Then press
the “SEL/REC” button to confirm the second option and change to the third option at the same
time. So the license number setting can be completed.

/ "Off" voice recording.
This 1080P DVR rearview mirror monitor has cyclic recording function, to ensure enough memory,
new recorded video files will auto overwrite the pre-recorded video when the SD card is full.

Two ways recording can be available on this DVR rearview mirror, the front camera is 1080P
recording, the rear camera is the VGA recording. Users can choose if you want to synchronize the
video by menu setting. If you choose "Off", the mirror will record only the front of the car. If you
choose "On", it will record the front and rear of car at the same time. Under stop recording mode,
choose "MENU" button to enter the video setting mode. Find "Simultaneous recording" by up and
down buttons, press "SEL/REC" to select "Off" / "On" simultaneous recording.
This DVR rearview mirror supports interval recording. Because interval time is very short, it will
not cause image omissions. The purpose is that under stop recording mode, pressing "MENU"
button to enter the settings menu and find "Interval Recording" by up and down, then press
"SEL/REC" to select Interval time , such as "Off" "100ms” "200ms" "500ms" .

Stop recording and press “MENU” button to enter video setting mode. Choose “Sensitivity” by
pressing up and down button. Press “SEL/REC” button to choose a suitable sensitivity of G-sensor
from “High/Normal/Low/Off”.
You can save a maximum 5 G-sensor videos. The 6th G-sensor video will overwrite the 1st one.
If G-sensor is off, the mirror will not immediately save the current video though car crashes. If you
choose high-sensitivity G-sensor, recorded video will be saved as G-sensor file though there is mirror
shake. If you choose low sensitivity, then G-sensor video only saves when car crashes heavily.
As memory of SD card is limited, users hope that the DVR mirror can only record the dynamic video.
Then motion detect can achieve this. This DVR mirror can start to record when it detects moving
objects.
Under stop recording mode and press “MENU” button to enter video setting menu. Find and choose
“Motion Detect” by pressing up and down buttons. Press “SEL/REC” to choose “On” or “Off”
to turn on/off motion detect.

2.17 Switch PIP display
Press the "SEL/REC" button to turn ON/OFF video recording .When the mirror is recording ,
press "MENU" button, then the current video will be saved as the read-only video file. Press
"MODE" button to turn ON/OFF volume recording.

When driving at night, it will disturb the driving if the screen is always on .This function also can
help save power. Mirrors keep recording videos though the screen is off.
Stop recording and press “MENU” button twice to enter into system setting menu. Choose “Auto
LCD off” by up and down buttons. Press “SEL/REC” button to choose from Off/30 secs /1 min/2 mins/
3 mins/5 mins/10 mins.
Under the stopping recording mode, press “MODE” button to enter the playing mode, press up
and down to switch between forward and backward files quickly, press “SEL/REC” then you can
play/pause the video, press “MENU” button to enter into the playing setting mode: The user can
choose “Delete” or “Protect” the video file. Enter to the delete file setting press “Delete” then you
can choose “delete this file / delete all files” , press “ Protect” then you can choose “Lock this file”,
“Lock all the files” or “Unlock all the files”.

3.1.1 Why have dimming function?
● To protect drivers from glare of headlights at night.
● It is a function that can improve the car safety level.
● It may cause a series of legal disputes once removed by car dealers or sellers.
3.1.2 How does auto dimming work?
The auto-dimming of our mirror works automatically when you start the engine, and the indicator will
light up. The light sensor in the back of the rearview mirror will always detect the ambient light. The
auto-dimming does not have any effect when there is adequate daylight. However, when night falls and
the ambient light is weak, the auto-dimming starts to work and automatically dims to eliminate the
glare of rearward-approaching vehicles. Furthermore, the degree of brightness of the auto-dimming
glass depends on the level of the light. The stronger the light from the back of the car is, the darker the
glass is. Hence it protects drivers from becoming dizzy and avoiding car accidents.
