UP / DOWN (button in lower right corner of phone):
Controls all aspects of the phone.
When Idle Adjusts LCD Contrast
When Ringing Adjusts Ringing Volume
When on Handset Adjusts Handset Volume
When on Speaker Adjusts Speaker Volume
Soft Keys (Oval shaped keys below display):
• Toggle between Station and System
speed dials.
• Up / down soft keys display the programmed
speed dials.
FEATURE:
Used to activate terminal setup functions and to access programmable features.
RECALL:
Press key to terminate established call and get new dial tone. (or based on the provider this button can
function as a ‘flash’ or call waiting if purchasing specific services from your local provider)
CONF (Conference):
Press key to establish a conference call. LED on key lights when feature is active.
REDIAL (Last 5 Numbers Redial):
Press key to activate last number redial.
SPEAKER:
Controls the built-in speaker for handsfree dialing / monitoring. LED on key lights when feature is active.
ANSWER:
Functions as a Flash feature for call waiting when carrier provides the service. When LED on this key is
lighted, press key to answer a waiting call.
TRANSFER:
Allows the station user to transfer established calls to another station, without attendant assistance.
HOLD:
Press key to place an internal or external call on hold. Line key remains green and flashes, denoting hold
status.
MESSAGE:
Press key to access your voice mail messages

INTERCOM CALL:
1. Lift the handset or press Speaker.
2. Dial the four-digit extension number (same as last 4 digits of DID).
Note: When dialing another extension, you will note several options on the LCD
display of your phone (Soft Keys). VOICE allows you to speak over the speaker
of the called parties extension (normally it will ring).
EXTERNAL CALLS:
1. Lift the handset or press Speaker.
2. Dial 9 for an outside line.
3. Dial the telephone number.
HEADSET:
1. Press the Head Set button.
You should hear internal dial tone.
2. Dial your internal number or 9 plus an outside number.
3. Press Head Set button to hang disconnect.
CALL HOLDING:
With call in progress:
1. Press Hold.
Line key will flash green.
ALL HOLD RETRIEVE:
C
1. Lift the handset or press Speaker.
2. Press the flashing green line key.
TRANSFERRING A CALL:
With call in progress:
1. Press Transfer, Dial the extension number, hang up to complete the transfer.
To screen the call, remain on the line.
To return to the original caller, press Recall followed by Transfer prior to
hanging up.
2. Replace the handset to complete the transfer.
