8 LUG WHEEL SPACERS/ADAPTERS

GENERAL NOTES:

• These instructions are also available on our website; www.synergymfg.com. Check the

website before you begin for any updated instructions and additional photos for your
reference.

• The installation of these wheel spacers requires a jack, jackstands, and some basic hand

tools to remove the wheels from the vehicle.

KIT CONTENTS:

• 2 Synergy wheel spacers / adapters

• 16 Standard 9/16-18 UNF or M14-1.5 (-LM part number) wheel studs (pre installed)

• 16 9/16-18 UNF or M14-1.5 tapered lug nuts

• 1 tube of Red Loctite.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Jack the vehicle up and support it securely using Jackstands. Remove the wheels from the
vehicle.

2. Remove drum / rotor retainer clips if present.

3. Apply the thread lock provided in the kit to the OEM wheel studs.

4. Install wheel spacer / adapter to drum / rotor using the lug nuts provided with the kit. **Be

sure the spacers clear the OEM wheel studs and are sitting flat against the face of the rotor /
drum.**

5. Tighten lug nuts in a criss-cross pattern to 80-90 ft-lbs. Have another apply the brakes to
achieve this torque spec. **Dbl check this torque spec after driving the vehicle for 50 mi**

6. Reinstall wheels to vehicle and using the original lug nuts. Tighten lug nuts in a criss-cross
pattern to 80-90 ft-lbs. **Do not use more than one wheel spacer per wheel.**

7. Wheel spacer torque spec should be checked frequently and especially after any off-road

driving.
