INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
PPM-3427 STEM TOP SHOCK ADAPTER
GENERAL NOTES:

• Loosely bolt all hardware in until all bolts have been started, then torque to spec.
INSTRUCTIONS
1) Unbolt the old shock from lower and upper shock mount
2) Note: It’s often easier to reinstall shocks with suspension hanging free as to not
have to compress the shock manually. Jacking the vehicle up, taking the weight
off the suspension will make installation easier.
3) Loosely bolt the PPM-3427 Stem top adapter to the shock using the 1/2” bolt and
nylock bolt provided with the kit. Use a washer on both the bolt and nut.
4) Loosely bolt the stem top adapter and shock into the upper shock mount using the
5/8” nylock nut and washer.
5) Install shock into lower mount and install shock bolt(s)
6) Torque the lower shock mount to your vehicles specification
7) Torque the upper 5/8” nylock to 100 ft-lbs
8) Torque the 1/2” bolt to 80 ft-lbs
