Helpful Tips:
A battery or electric drill will make assembly easier and faster.
Use a good quality penetrating oil or wood deck sealer with a UV
inhibitor and an anti-fungal.
STEP 1
Lay the four table boards on a clean dry surface, with the two inner
table boards with brace holes, in the center, and two of the outer
table boards on either side. Place boards with the sanded side down.
(As shown in figure 1. Note the position of the inner boards with
brace holes).
Lift each board and insert two of the 3 1/2” bolts into the predrilled
holes (Figure 1). Repeat on other end. Do not insert bolts into the
center holes.

STEP 2
Position the table cleats onto the 3 1/2” carriage bolts. (As shown in
figure 2). Place the flat side down and to the inside of the table.
Attach with washers and nuts. (Use a mallet or block of wood with
hammer if needed to set the cleat onto the bolts)
Use a deep well socket to tighten nuts, drawing carriage bolts flush
and snug to top of table. (Caution: be careful not to over tighten, as
bolt heads can pull too deeply into table top.)
