A/D and D/A converters, de-esser, expander/gate, compressor and parametric equalizer into a single r ack
space unit. T he 628 combines proven digital signal processing and an easy to use analog-like interface
with the power of factor y and user programmable presets.

memory 119 custom presets. Y ou can get on the
air instantly by selecting fr om 8 finely tuned
factor y presets.

M ost compressor designs use a “ one size fits all”
approach to compression; the design of the 628
reflects the realization that voice and mix ed music
require different design philosophies. W hile the
control complement is simple (T hreshold, R atio
and R elease), each has been highly optimized for
voice work. T he r esult is a compressor that can
