Disc maintenance

• Before playback, wipe the disc from the center hole toward the outer edge with a

clean cloth.

• Never use benzene, thinner, cleaning fluid, static electricity prevention liquids or

any other solvent.

Caring for the player

• The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing” and that no objects
filled with liquid shall be placed on the unit.

• Electronic products of this kind should never be subjected to extreme temperatures
or high humidity. For instance, this set should not be placed in bathing areas or
around stoves and radiators.

• If anything falls into the cabinet, unplug the unit and have it checked by qualified
personnel before operating it any further.

Cleaning the Unit

• To prevent fire or shock hazard, disconnect your unit from the AC power source
when cleaning.

• The finish on your unit may be cleaned with a dust cloth and cared for as other
furniture. Use caution when cleaning and wiping the plastic parts.

• Mild soap and a damp cloth may be used on the front panel.

Inclination

• Do not install the unit in an inclined position. It is designed to be operated in a

horizontal position only.

Disc types

Condensation

• If the unit is brought directly from a cold to a warm location, moisture may condense inside the player
and cause damage to the lenses. When you first install the unit, or when you move it from a cold to a

warm location, wait for 30 minutes before operating the unit.

Disconnect Power

• If you are not going to use the player for a long time, be sure to disconnect the player from the AC
power source.

Note :

This unit will become warm when used for a long period of time. This is normal and does not indicate a
problem with the unit.
This CD player includes micro-processors which may malfunction as a result of external electrical
interference or noise. If the CD player is not working properly, disconnect the power source and then
reconnect it.

Read this before Operation

• Choose the installation location of your unit carefully. Avoid placing it indirect sunlight or close

to a source of heat. Also av

oid locations subject to vibrations and excessive dust, heat, cold or

moisture.

• The ventilation holes should not be covered. Make sure there is enough space above and beside

the amplifier/receiver (about 4 inches). Do not place a CD player or other equipment on top of
the amplifier/receiver.

• Do not open the cabinet as this might result in damage to the circuitry or electrical shock. If a

foreign object gets into the set. Contact your

dealer.

• When removing the power plug, never yank the cord.

• Do not attempt to clean the unit with chemical solvents as this might damage the finish. Use a

clean, dry cloth.

• Keep this manual in a safe place for future reference.

1) Turn the unit “ON” us ing the POWER

This function is used to play audio from your portable/external audio device on this unit.

- Connect a RCA cable to the Aux-In jack on this unit and the output jack on your device.

- Switch the function selector to AUX.

- Press play on your device and enjoy.

3) Tune in the desired station using the

TUNING Knob. If the FM ST. band was
chosen, the FM STEREO in dicator will
light up whenever a stereo broadcast
is received. To listen in Mono or to im-

prove noisy, weak-signal stereo broad­cast, select FM Mono band using the
BAND FUNCTION switch. The STEREO
indicator will go off and FM Mono
will be receive d.

5) Place the tone arm on the desired position.

1) Set the FUNCTION Knob to the PHONO.

2) Set the speed selector to the proper position

depending on th e record to be played.

3) Place the record on the pl atter (if required,

use the 33/45/78 rpm adaptor)

4) Lift the tone arm from the rest and slowly

move it to the reco rd side. The platter will
begin to rotate.

6) Adjust VOLUME controls

to the desired

sound l evel.

7) To stop manually, lift the tone arm from the
record, and return it to the rest.

4) Adjust the VOLUME controls to the desired
sound lev el.

1. Press the POWER switch to ON.

2. Switch the FUNCTION selector to CD position.

3. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button once to open
CD Tray.

4. Set the CD on Tray properly. (rainbow side
sets down ward).

5. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button again to close
CD Tray.

6. Total track will appeared on LED display.

7. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button, the disc will
always be played from the first track.

8. Adjust the VOLUME to the desired sound level.

9. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button once to
pause play.

10. To resume playing, press the PLAY/PAUSE
button again. The play starts at the point
previously interrupted.

11. To stop playing, press the STOP button.

SKIP

CD PRAGRAMMING

1. Press SKIP+ button, then playing point skip
to beginning of next track.

2. Press SKIP- button, then playing point
skip to beginning of current track.

UP TO 20 TRACKS CAN BE PROGRAMMED FOR DISC PLAY IN ANY ORDER.

TO PROGRAM

1. SET IN CD MODE.

2. PRESS THE PROGRAM BUTTON, THE DISPLAY WILL SHOW "01". AND FLASH, AND THEN
IT CHANGE TO "00" TO WAIT THE KEY INPUT.

3. SELECT A DESIRED TRACK BY USING THE SKIP BUTTONS.

4. PRESS THE PROGRAM

BUTTON TO ENTER THE TRACK INTO THE PROGRAM.

5. LED DISPLAY CHANGES TO "02", AND THEN CHANGES TO "00" AGAIN.

6. REPEAT 3~5, UP TO 20 TRACKS, AFTER REGISTER 20 TRACKS, THE DISPLAY SHOWS
"01" AND FLASHES AGAIN.

TO COMPLETE PROGRAMMING AND START PLAY

PRESS PLAY BUTTON, PROGRAM PLAY AUTOMATICALLY.

TO CLEAR PROGRAMMING

SET THE FUNCTION SELECTOR TO TAPE OR RADIO, AND THEN TO CD AGAIN TO CANEL CD
PROGRAMMING.

REPEAT MODE

PRESS THE REPEAT BUTTON BEFORE OR DURING PLAY, A SINGLE TRACK OR ALL THE TRACKS CAN

NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN

Condensation

• Si lʼunité est transportée directement dʼun lieu froid à un lieu chaud, de lʼhumidité peut se
condenser à lʼintérieur du lecteur et endommager les lentilles. Lorsque vous installez lʼappareil
pour la première fois, ou lorsque vous le déplacez dʼun endroit froid à un endroit chaud,
attendez 30 minutes avent de le mettre en marche.

Mettre lʼappareil hors tension

5) Placez le bras de lecture sur la position
souhaitée.

6) Réglez les commandes du VOLUME au
niveau souhaité.

7) Pour arrêter manuellement, soulevez le
bras de lecture du disque, et replacez­ le sur son support.

SYNTONISATEUR

1) Allumez lʼappareil à lʼaide du bouton

ALIMENTATION.

2) Sélectionnez la bande souhaitée en
utilisant la touche FUNCTION.

3) Réglez la station souhaitée en utilisant
le bouton TUNING. Si vous avez choisi
la bande FM ST., le voyant FM STEREO

sʼallumera si la diffusion est reçue en

stéréo. Pour écouter en Mono ou pour

améliorer un signal de diffusion faible

et avec parasites, sélectionnez la bande

FM Mono à lʼaide du sélecteur de BANDE.
Lʼindicateur STEREO sʼéteindra et la FM
sera reçue en Mono.

4) Réglez les commandes du VOLUME au
niveau souhaité.

PHONO

1) Mettez la touche FUNCTION sur PHONO.

2) Mettez le sélecteur de vitesse dans la

position appropriée, en fonction du
disque à lire.

3) Placez le disque sur la platine (su
nécessaire, utilisez un adaptateur 33/
45/78 rpm)

4) Soulevez le bras de lecture de son
support, et déplacez-le lentement vers

la surface du disque. Le plateau
commencera à tourner.

RCA ENTRÉE

AUXILIAIRE

ANTENNE FM

Cette prise, l’entrée auxiliaire, vous permet de raccorder à l’appareil une composante audio externe,
portable ou non.

- Branchez un câble audio muni d’une fiche de RCA (non compris) sur l’entrée auxiliaire et sur la
prise de sortie audio de la composante externe.

- Placez le sélecteur de fonction à la position AUXILIAIRE.

- Appuyez sur la touche de lecture de la composante externe. Le signal audio provenant de celle-ci
sera reproduit par les haut-parleurs du lecteur CD/radio.

RACCORDEMENT D'UNE COMPOSANTE EXTERNE SUR L'ENTRÉE AUXILIAIRE

1. Appuyez sur le bouton de marche/arrêt pour
allumer l'appareil.

2. Mettez le sélecteur de fonction sur CD.

3. Appuyez sur la touche dʼOuverture/Fermeture
de la platine CD.

4. Posez correctement le CD sur la platine (la

face arc-en-ciel vers le bas).

5. Appuyez sur la touche dʼOuverture/Fermeture

de la platine CD pour la fermer.

6. Le nombre total de pistes apparaîtra sur

lʼaffiche diode.

7. Appuyez sur la touche Lecture/Pause. La
lecture du disque commencera au début du
premier morceau.

8. Ajustez la commande du VOLUME suivant
vos préférences dʼécoute.

9. Appuyez une fois sur Lecture/Pause
pour interrompre la lecture.

10. Pour reprendre la lecture, appuyez à

nouveau sur la touche Lecture/Pause. La
lecture recommence de là où elle sʼétait

interrompue.

11. Pour arrêter la lecture, appuyez sur
ARRÊT.

TOUCHE SAUT

1. Appuyez sur la touche SAUT+. La lecture

passera alors au début de la piste

suivante.

2. Appuyez sur la touche SAUT-. La lecture

passera alors au début de la piste en
cours.

VOUS POUVEZ PROGRAMMER JUSQUʼÀ 20 PISTES À LIRE DANS NʼIMPORTE QUEL ORDRE.

POUR PROGRAMMER

1. METTEZ LʼAPPAREIL EN MODE CD.

2. APPUYEZ SUR LA TOUCHE PROGRAMME. LʼÉCRAN INDIQUERA "01" ET CLIGNOTERA, PUIS
AFFICHERA "00" POUR ATTENDRE LʼENTRÉE DE DONNÉES.

3. SÉLECTIONNEZ LA PISTE SOUHAITÉE EN UTILISANT LES TOUCHES DE SAUT.

4. APPUYEZ SUR LE BOUTON PROGRAM POUR MÉMORISER LA PISTE SÉLECTIONNÉE.

5. LʼÉCRAN DIODE AFFICHE MAINTENANT "02", PUIS "00". À NOUVEAU.

6. POUR MÉMORISER JUSQUʼÀ 20 PISTES, RÉPÉTEZ LES ÉTAPES 3 À 5. APRÈS AVOIR SAISI 20 PISTES,
LʼÉCRAN AFFICHERA "01" ET CLIGNOTERA À NOUVEAU.

POUR TERMINER LE PROGRAMME ET COMMENCER LA LECTURE

APPUYEZ SUR LA TOUCHE LECTURE/PAUSE. LA LECTURE DU PROGRAMME COMMENCE
AUTOMATIQUEMENT.

POUR EFFACER LE PROGRAMME

METTEZ LE SÉLECTEUR DE FONCTION SUR TAPE OU RADIO, PUIS SUR CD, POUR ANNULER LA
PROGRAMMATION CD.

MODE RÉPÉTITION

APPUYEZ SUR LA TOUCHE RÉPÉTITION AVANT OU PENDANT LA LECTURE. VOUS POUVEZ RÉPÉTER
UNE SEULE PISTE OU BIEN TOUTES.
CHAQUE PRESSION SUR LA TOUCHE PASSE DʼUN MODE DE RÉPÉTITION À LʼAUTRE.

• Si vous écoutez continuellement de la musiqu e, vos oreilles sʼy habituent et vous aur ez
lʼimpression que le son est plus bas quʼil ne lʼest en réalité.

• Même si cela vous paraît normal , cela pou rrait être en réa lité nocif.

• Afin de vous proté ger, baissez le volume.

• Mo ntez le son progressivemen t uniquement, jusquʼà ce que vous entendie z clairemen t et sans

problèmes.

• Les domma ges dʼaudition sont di vers et irré versibles.

• Consultez un spécialiste si v ous avez des troubles dʼaudition.
