5) Do not use this apparat us near water.
Do not use this produc t near water a nd moisture, for example: near a batht ub, washbowl, kitchen si nk or laundr y tub; in a wet basement; or near a swim ming pool.
6) Clean only with dry clo th.
Unplug thi s product fr om the wall ou tlet before c leaning. Do not use liqui d cleaners o r aerosol cl eaners. Use a dry cloth for cleaning .
7) Do not bloc k any ventilatio n openings. In stall in acc ordance with t he manufacturer 's instructio ns.
Slots and openings in the cabinet a nd in the ba ck or bottom are provided fo r ventilation , to ensure reliable oper ation of the product and to protect it from overheati ng. These openings m ust not be bl ocked or covered . The openings should never be blocked by placing th e product on a bed, sofa, r ug or other similar surf ace. This produ ct should never be pla ced near or over a radiator or heat sour ce. This product should not be placed in a built-in i nstallation s uch as a boo kcase or rack unless prop er ventilatio n is provided or the manufact urer's instr uctions have be en adhered t o.
8) Do not ins tall near any heat sources s uch as radiato rs, heat registe rs, stoves, or other appa ratus (includ ing amplif iers) that prod uce heat.
9) Do not def eat the safe ty purpose of the polarize d or grounding -type plug. A polarize d plug has t wo blades with one wider tha n the other. A grounding type plug has t wo blades and a third groundin g prong. The wide bl ade or the t hird prong is provid ed for your saf ety. If the provided p lug does not fit into yo ur outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obso lete outlet.
10) Protect the power cord from be ing walked on or pinched pa rticularly at plugs, convenience rec eptacles, and the point where they exit from t he apparatus.
11) Only use at tachments/ac cessories spe cified by th e manufacturer.
12) Use only wi th the cart, stand, tripod, b racket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or so ld with the apparatus. When a cart is used , use aution when moving the ca rt/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.

rt combin ation should be moved with c are. Quick stop s, excessive fo rce and uneven surfaces may cause the app liance and c art combinatio n to overturn .
13) Unplug t his apparatus during ligh tning storms or when unuse d for long pe riods of time.
To protect your product from a light ning storm, or when it is left unatte nded and unused for long periods o f time, unpl ug it from th e wall outle t and disconn ect the ante nna or cable system. This will prevent damage to th e product du e to lightnin g and power-l ine surges.
14) Refer all servicing to qualified s ervice person nel. Servici ng is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such a s power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid ha s been spill ed or objects have fallen into the appa ratus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moistu re does not o perate normal ly, or has been dropped.
15) Power sou rce
This product shoul d be operate d only from t he type of p ower source i ndicated on the marking label. If you are not sure of the t ype of power supply to yo ur home, con sult your appliance dea ler or local power compan y. For products intended to operate f rom battery power, or ot her source, refer to the operation in structions.

16) Power lines
An outside antenna sys tem should no t be located in the vicin ity of overhead power lines or other e lectric ligh t or power circui ts, or where it can fall into such power lines or circuits. W hen installin g an outside antenna syst em, extreme c are should be taken to keep from touching such power lines or circuits as c ontact with them might be fatal.
17) Overloading
Do not overlo ad wall outlet s and extensi on cords as this can resu lt in a risk of fire o r electric s hock.
18) Object and liquid entr y
Never push o bjects of any kind into th is product th rough openin gs as they may touch dangerous voltage point s or short o ut parts th at could resu lt in fir e or electric shock. Never spill or spray any ty pe of liquid on the produ ct.
19) Outdoor an tenna groundin g
If an outs ide antenna is connected to the produ ct, be sure the antenn a system is grounded so as to provide s ome protection against volta ge surges and built up st atic charges. 20) Service
Do not att empt to ser vice this pro duct yourself as opening o r removing covers may expose you t o dangerous voltage or oth er hazards. Refer all ser vicing to q ualified service p ersonnel.
21) Replacemen t parts
When repla cement part s are require d, be sure the service tech nician uses replacement parts spe cified by t he manufactu rer or those that have the same characte ristics as t he original p arts. Unaut horized subst itutions may r esult in f ire or elect ric shock or other hazards.
22) Safety che ck
Upon compl etion of any s ervice or r epairs to thi s product, a sk the servi ce technicia n to perform s afety checks to determin e that the p roduct is in proper opera tion conditio n.
23) Wall or ceiling mounting
The produc t should be mounted to a wall or ceilin g only as rec ommended by th e manufactu rer.
24) Damage requi ring service
Unplug thi s product fr om the wall ou tlet and refe r service t o qualifie d service p ersonnel under the following cond itions. a) When t he power-supply cor d or plug is damaged. b) If liquid has been spi lled or obje cts have fallen into the pr oduct. c) If the product has been exposed to rain or wat er. d) If the pr oduct does no t operate no rmally by foll owing the opera ting instru ctions. Ad just only thos e controls t hat are covered by the operati ng instruct ions, as an ad justment of o ther control s may result i n damage and will and req uire extensive work by a qualif ied technic ian to restor e in the pro duct to its n ormal opera tion. e) If the product has been dropped or the cabin et has been damaged. f) W hen the prod uct exhibits a distinct ch ange in perfo rmance-this indicates a need for se rvice.
25) Note to CATV sy stem install er
This remin der is provided to call the CATV system insta ller's attent ion to Article 820-40 of the NEC that provides guidelines f or proper gr ounding and, in particular, s pecifies that the c able ground shall be conn ected to the grounding s ystem of the building, as close to the poi nt of cable e ntry as prac tical.
NOTE: Refer a ll servicing to qualifie d service per sonnel. Servici ng is required when the unit h as been dama ged in any way such as the following : the power-supply cord or plug ha s been damage d, liquid has been spilled into the uni t, the unit ha s been exposed to r

RECOR DING

3. In sert a blank casset te tap e in t he slot on ca ssette door (Magnet ic tape f ace up ).
Note: Make sure t he eras e preve ntion tab on the to p of t he tap e had not cut o ff as figur e below. O therwi se, th e tape can’t b e used for r ecordin g.
4. Cl ose th e casse tte do or.
5. In stop mode. P ress t he REW INE or F.FWD BUT TON to select the
loca tion on the t ape whe re to start record ing th en pre ss the STOP Butt on to s top.
6. Pr ess th e RECOR D BUTTO N to s tart r ecordi ng. Spe ak int o the built in mi cropho ne.
7. Wh en fi nished . Pres s the S TOP But ton to stop recordi ng and shut off t he uni t.
NOTE: To record the radio program, slide the FUNCTION SELECTOR to RADIO. Received the desired radio station as previously procedures then start to record as point 1-7 as above.

1. In stop mode. Pr ess the REWIND or F.FWD BUTTON to locate the
section you s tart p layback t hen pre ss the STOP/EJEC T BUTTON to
stop. P ress the P LAY BUTTON to sta rt pla yback.
2. Turn the VOLU ME KNO B to a djust volume level a s desir e.
3. Du ring p layback , pres s the PAUSE BUTTON to p ause, press again to re sume n ormal playbac k.
4. Wh en f inishe d. Pre ss th e STOP/ EJECT BUTTON to st op pl ayback and s hut of f the u nit.

• Th e fi nish on your unit may be cl eaned with a dust c loth a nd car ed for a s othe r furn iture. Use c aution when c leanin g and w iping the plast ic par ts.
• Mi ld soa p and a damp cloth may be used o n the front p anel.

PREPARATION FOR USE
POWER SOURCE:
This unit can be powered by either AC power or four (4) “C” size batteries (not included) as:
AC OPERATION:
To operate the unit using AC power, connect the small plug from the supplied AC Adaptor to the AC IN Jack on the rear of unit. Plug the AC Adaptor to the AC wall outlet having AC 120V~, 60 Hz.
NOTES: When using AC power, make sure all batteries were taken off from the unit. Otherwise, batteries will consume very quick.
BATTERY OPERATION:
Install or replace the batteries as below:
1. Press the tabs on the battery door then lifting it off.
2. Insert 4 (four) “C” size batteries (not included) according to the polarity diagram inside the battery compartment. Replace the battery door.
NOTE: When using battery power, make sure the AC adaptor was detached off from the unit and wall outlet.
BATTERY PRECAUTIONS:
Follow these precautions when using a battery in this device:
1. Use only the size and type of battery specified.
2. Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the battery as indicated in the battery compartment. A reversed battery may cause damage to the device.
3. Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g. Alkaline and Carbon-zinc) or old batteries with fresh ones.
4. If the batteries in the device are consumed or the device is not to be used for a long period of time, remove the batteries to prevent damage or injury from possible battery leakage.
5. Do not try to recharge the battery not intended to be recharged; it can overheat and rupture. (Follow battery manufacturer’s instructions.)
6. Do not dispose of battery in fire. Battery may explodes or leak.
7. Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
