2. Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Der Raumthermostat kann einen daran angeschlossenen Ver­braucher temperaturabhängig ein- oder ausschalten. Die Tempe­raturmessung erfolgt über einen internen Fühler.
Als Zubehör ist ein zusätzlicher externer Temperaturfühler er­hältlich, der z.B. für die Steuerung in Zusammenhang mit einer Fußbodenheizung verwendet werden kann.
Die Bedienung des Raumthermostats erfolgt über ein berüh­rungsempfi ndliches Display.
Die Sicherheitshinweise und alle anderen Informationen dieser Bedienungsanleitung sind unbedingt zu befolgen.

• Das Produkt darf nur an der Netzspannung betrie­ben werden (siehe Abschnitt „Technische Daten“). Versuchen Sie nie, das Produkt an einer anderen Span­nung zu betreiben, dadurch wird es zerstört.
Installationsseitig muss eine allpolige Trennvorrich-
tung von der Netzspannung vorgesehen werden (z.B. FI-Schutzschalter).
• Das Produkt darf nur ortsfest montiert betrieben werden.
• Das Produkt ist in Schutzklasse II aufgebaut.
• Verwenden Sie das Produkt nicht in Räumen oder bei widrigen Umgebungsbedingungen, wo brennbare Gase, Dämpfe oder Stäube vorhanden sind oder vor­handen sein können! Es besteht Explosionsgefahr!
• Wenn anzunehmen ist, dass ein gefahrloser Betrieb nicht mehr möglich ist, so ist das Produkt außer Be­trieb zu setzen (zugehörige Sicherung herausdrehen bzw. Sicherungsautomat abschalten; zugehörigen FI-Schutzschalter abschalten) und gegen unbeabsich­tigten Betrieb zu sichern.
Lassen Sie das Produkt anschließend von einem Fach-
mann prüfen.
Es ist anzunehmen, dass ein gefahrloser Betrieb nicht
mehr möglich ist, wenn:
- das Produkt sichtbare Beschädigungen aufweist
- das Produkt nicht oder nicht richtig arbeitet

7. Montage und Anschluss
Beachten Sie das Kapitel „Sicherheitshinweise“!
• Montieren Sie den Raumthermostat nur auf einem stabilen Untergrund, z.B. an einer Unterputzdose in der Wand. Der Raumthermostat darf nur ortsfest montiert betrieben werden.
• Der Raumthermostat muss in der bauseitigen Unterverteilung mit einer 10/16A-Sicherung abgesichert werden. Davor muss ein Fehlerstromschutzschalter (FI) geschaltet werden.
• Die Installation des Raumthermostats darf nur im spannungs­freien Zustand vorgenommen werden.
Schalten Sie die elektrische Netzzuleitung allpolig ab, indem
Sie die zugehörige Stromkreissicherung entfernen bzw. den Sicherungsautomaten abschalten und anschließend auch den zugehörigen Fehlerstromschutzschalter ausschalten. Sichern Sie diese vor unberechtigtem Wiedereinschalten, z.B. mit einem Warnschild.
• Überprüfen Sie die Netzzuleitung auf Spannungsfreiheit, z.B. mit einem geeigneten Messgerät.
• Drehen Sie die beiden Schrauben (10) ein Stück heraus, so dass sich das Bedienteil von der Montageplatte abnehmen lässt.
• An der Montageplatte fi nden Sie 10 Schraubklemmen, an denen die Netzzuleitung, der bzw. die Verbraucher und ein externer Temperaturfühler (nicht im Lieferumfang, als Zubehör bestellbar) angeschlossen werden können.

Der Raumthermostat bietet die Möglichkeit, sowohl ein
Heizgerät (elektrischer Heizkörper) als auch ein Kühl­gerät (Lüfter, Klimaanlage) anzuschließen. Dazu ist es unbedingt erforderlich, dass die richtigen Anschluss­klemmen ausgewählt werden, siehe oben.
Damit das jeweilige Gerät abhängig von der Temperatur korrekt ein-/ausgeschaltet wird, muss im Einstellmenü „INSTALL SETTINGS“ in der Funktion H1 „HEAT OR COOL“ die gewünschte Betriebsart gewählt werden („HEAT“ = Heiz-Modus, „COOL“ = Kühl-Modus).

• Achten Sie beim Anschluss darauf, dass die Leitungsadern nicht zu lang abisoliert werden und dadurch einen Kurzschluss auslösen.
Wie schon beim Anschlussbild beschrieben, ist unbedingt dar-
auf zu achten, dass ein Heizgerät an den Klemmen COM1 und NO1 angeschlossen wird und/oder ein Kühlgerät an den Klem­men COM2 und NO2.
Nach der Inbetriebnahme ist im Einstellmenü abhängig vom
angeschlossenen Gerät der Heiz- oder Kühl-Modus auszu­wählen.
Es ist auch denkbar, gleichzeitig ein Heiz- und Kühlgerät anzu-
schließen. Somit können Sie den Raumthermostat im Winter im Heiz-Modus betreiben (ein elektrischer Heizkörper wird tempe­raturgesteuert ein-/ausgeschaltet) und im Sommer umschalten auf den Kühl-Modus (z.B. ein Lüfter wird temperaturgesteuert ein-/ausgeschaltet).
Der Betrieb eines gleichzeitig angeschlossenen Heiz-
und Kühlgeräts ist nur wechselweise möglich, abhän­gig davon, welche Betriebsart („HEAT“ = Heiz-Modus, „COOL“ = Kühl-Modus) Sie im Einstellmenü ausgewählt haben.
Im Heiz-Modus arbeitet das Kühlgerät nicht, im Kühl­Modus arbeitet das Heizgerät nicht.
• Wenn Sie einen externen Temperatursensor anschließen wollen (nicht im Lieferumfang, sondern als Zubehör erhältlich), so ist die Polarität beim Anschluss belanglos.
• Verlegen Sie die Kabel so, dass sie nicht eingequetscht oder durch scharfe Kanten beschädigt werden.
• Setzen Sie die Montageplatte z.B. auf die Unterputzdose auf und befestigen Sie sie mit zwei geeigneten Schrauben. Dabei ist darauf zu achten, dass die Kontaktzungen (8) nach oben zeigen und die Schrauben (10) nach unten.
Prüfen Sie den festen Sitz der Montageplatte.

• Setzen Sie das Bedienteil zunächst an der Oberseite in die Mon­tageplatte (etwa im Winkel von 20°).
Drücken Sie das Bedienteil dann etwas nach unten und
schwenken Sie es fl ach auf die Montageplatte.
• Zuletzt fi xieren Sie das Bedienteil mit den beiden Schrauben (10) auf der Montageplatte.
• Prüfen Sie den festen Sitz des Bedienteils auf der Montage­platte.
• Schalten Sie jetzt die Netzspannung zu.
• Im Display erscheint daraufhin die Temperaturanzeige (z.B. 22,0 °C) und die Uhrzeit „0:00“.
Falls keinerlei Anzeige erscheint, so schalten Sie sofort die
Netzspannung wieder allpolig ab (Sicherung herausdrehen bzw. Sicherungsautomat abschalten, außerdem den zugehöri­gen FI-Schutzschalter abschalten). Prüfen Sie erst danach den korrekten Anschluss bzw. fragen Sie einen Fachmann.
• Wird der Raumthermostat längere Zeit von der Netzspannung getrennt (z.B. Stromausfall), müssen Sie das Datum und die Uhrzeit neu einstellen bzw. korrigieren. Die restlichen Program­mierungen bleiben erhalten.
Bei kürzeren Unterbrechungen der Netzspannung bleiben
Datum und Uhrzeit erhalten, da der Raumthermostat über eine interne Stützfunktion mittels einem Kondensator verfügt.

8. Programmierung (Grundlagen)
a) Grundsätzliche Informationen zur Bedienung
• Mit der Taste „MENU“ (4) können Sie das Einstellmenü des Raumthermostats aufrufen, eine Funktion verlassen (eine Menüebene zurückspringen) bzw. zur Normalanzeige zurück­kehren.
• Die Taste „OK“ (5) dient zur Bestätigung.
• Mit den beiden Tasten „–“ (3) und „+“ (2) lassen sich je nach Menüebene die Funktionen auswählen bzw. Einstellungen vor­nehmen.
• Die unterste Displayzeile zeigt entsprechende Textmeldungen an, z.B. in welcher Funktion sich der Raumthermostat gerade befi ndet. Dadurch wird die Programmierung stark vereinfacht.
• Wenn Sie für 15 Sekunden keine Taste drücken, wird das Ein­stellmenü automatisch verlassen, ohne die zuletzt vorgenom­mene Änderung zu speichern.
b) Einstellmenü aufrufen/verlassen
Drücken Sie kurz die Taste „MENU“ (4). In der untersten Display­zeile erscheint „USER SETTINGS“.
Mit den Tasten „–“ (3) und „+“ (2) können Sie umschalten zwi­schen „USER SETTINGS“ und „INSTALL SETTINGS“. Bestätigen Sie die Auswahl mit der Taste „OK“ (5).
Wie bereits in Kapitel 8. a) beschrieben, können Sie mit der Taste „MENU“ (4) eine Funktion verlassen (eine Menüebene zurück­springen) bzw. das Einstellmenü komplett verlassen (es erscheint dann wieder die Uhrzeit und die aktuell gemessene Temperatur).

Zurücksetzen des Raumthermostats auf die Werkseinstellun-

Nach dem Zuschalten der Netzspannung sollten Sie
zuerst das Datum und die Uhrzeit programmieren (Funk­tion G5).
Wählen sie dann in Funktion H1 entweder den Heiz­Modus („HEAT“) oder Kühl-Modus („COOL“) aus. In der Grundeinstellung ist der Heiz-Modus aktiv.
Mittels der Funktion G1 ist einer der 3 Programmspeicher auszuwählen, anschließend können Sie in Funktion G2 die Programmierung der Temperaturen/Zeiten beginnen.
Die Programmierungen für einen bestimmten Tag lassen sich bei Bedarf mit der Funktion G4 auf einen oder meh­rere andere Tage kopieren.

c) Anzeige für eingeschalteten Verbraucher
Rechts neben der Raumtemperaturanzeige wird ein Symbol ein­geblendet, wenn das entsprechende Relais aktiviert ist (und da­mit ein angeschlossener Verbraucher eingeschaltet ist).

9. Menü „USER SETTINGS“
• Drücken Sie wie in Kapitel 8. b) beschrieben kurz die Taste „MENU“ (4). In der untersten Displayzeile erscheint „USER SETTINGS“.
• Mit den Tasten „–“ (3) und „+“ (2) können Sie umschalten zwi­schen „USER SETTINGS“ und „INSTALL SETTINGS“.
Wählen Sie „USER SETTINGS“ und drücken Sie dann die Taste
„OK“ (5).
• Anschließend lässt sich mit den Tasten „–“ (3) und „+“ (2) die gewünschte Funktion auswählen (siehe nachfolgende Unter­kapitel bzw. Kurzbeschreibung in Kapitel 8. b).
• Bestätigen Sie die Auswahl mit der Taste „OK“ (5).
• Wenn Sie eine Funktion bzw. das Einstellmenü verlassen wollen, drücken Sie die Taste „MENU“ (4).
a) Funktion G1 „PROGRAM SELECT“
Der Raumthermostat verfügt über 3 voneinander unabhängige Speicher für die Schaltzeiten/Temperaturen.
Wenn Sie je nach Jahreszeit unterschiedliche Programme verwen­den wollen (z.B. zur wechselweisen Steuerung eines Heiz- oder Kühlgeräts, siehe Informationen in Kapitel 7), so können Sie in Speicher 1, 2 und 3 die jeweils passenden Zeiten/Temperaturen ablegen.
1. Nach der Auswahl der Funktion G1 „PROGRAM SELECT“ und
Bestätigung mit der Taste „OK“ (5) blinkt die Speichernum­mer (1, 2 oder 3) im Display.
2. Wählen Sie einen der 3 Speicher mit den Tasten „–“ (3) und
„+“ (2) aus.
3. Bestätigen Sie die Auswahl mit der Taste „OK“ (5).
Der Raumthermostat befi ndet sich daraufhin wieder im vor-
herigen Menü zur Auswahl der Funktionen.
4. Zum Verlassen des Menüs und zur Rückkehr zur Normal-
anzeige drücken Sie die Taste „MENU“ (4) ggf. mehrfach.

b) Funktion G2 „PROGRAM SETTING“
Hier lassen sich die gewünschten Zeiten und Temperaturen programmieren, innerhalb derer der Raumthermostat den an­geschlossenen Verbraucher temperaturgesteuert ein- bzw. aus­schaltet.
So kann z.B. festgelegt werden, dass ab 6:00 Uhr eine Tempera­tur von 20,0 °C gelten soll und ab 9:00 Uhr für den Rest des Tages eine Temperatur von 18,0 °C.
Je nachdem, ob Sie im Menü „INSTALL SETTINGS“ den Heiz- bzw. Kühl-Modus ausgewählt haben, wird der am Raumthermostat an­geschlossene Verbraucher entsprechend ein- oder ausgeschaltet.
Im Heiz-Modus wird der angeschlossene Verbraucher (z.B. eine Elektroheizung) eingeschaltet, wenn die vom Temperaturfühler gemessene Temperatur unter den von Ihnen programmierten Temperaturwert fällt.
Um zu häufi ge Ein-/Ausschaltvorgänge zu vermeiden, muss die Temperatur erst um die in der Funktion G10 „SWING SETTING“ eingestellte Temperaturhysterese abweichen, bevor der am Raumthermostat angeschlossene Verbraucher eingeschaltet (bzw. ausgeschaltet) wird.
Beispiel: Programmierter Temperaturwert: 20,0 °C Temperaturhysterese: 0,5 °C Ein-/Ausschaltvorgang: Bei 19,5 °C bzw. 20,5 °C Pro Tag lassen sich bis zu 7 verschiedene Zeiten programmieren
(Anzeige im Display P1....P7), an denen sich die Temperatur än-
dern kann (Schrittweite 10 Minuten). So können Sie z.B. im ersten Speicher „P1“ für 6:00 Uhr eine Tem-
peratur von 20,0 °C programmieren und im zweiten Speicher „P2“ für 9:00 Uhr eine Temperatur von 18,0 °C.
Gehen Sie zur Programmierung in folgenden Schritten vor:
1. Nach der Auswahl der Funktion G2 „PROGRAM SETTING“ und
Bestätigung mit der Taste „OK“ (5) blinken am oberen Display­rand die Zahl(en) für die Wochentage bzw. Tagesblöcke.

2. Wählen Sie einen der einzelnen Tage bzw. einen der Tages-
blöcke mit den Tasten „–“ (3) und „+“ (2) aus.

3. Wenn der gewünschte Wochentag oder Block im Display
blinkt, drücken Sie die Taste „OK“ (5).
4. Die Zeitanzeige oben links im Display beginnt zu blinken (falls
noch keine Zeit programmiert ist, blinkt „- - : - -“). Neben der Zeit-
anzeige wird die Nummer des Speichers angezeigt (P1.....P7).
5. Stellen Sie mit den Tasten „–“ (3) und „+“ (2) die Zeit ein
(Schrittweite 10 Minuten), ab der die Temperatur gelten soll, z.B. 6:00. Halten Sie die jeweilige Taste für eine Schnellver­stellung länger gedrückt.
6. Drücken Sie die Taste „OK“ (5). Oben rechts im Display blinkt
„SET AT“ und darunter der Temperaturwert („SET AT“ bedeu­tet soviel wie „eingestellt auf...“).
7. Stellen Sie mit den Tasten „–“ (3) und „+“ (2) den gewünsch-
ten Temperaturwert ein, z.B. 20,0 °C. Halten Sie die jeweilige Taste für eine Schnellverstellung länger gedrückt.
8. Drücken Sie die Taste „OK“ (5).
9. Wiederholen Sie nun die Schritte 4 bis 8 für die nächsten
Zeiten. Wenn Sie als Zeit „- - : - -“ einstellen (liegt zwischen 23:50 und 0:00 Uhr), so wird die Einstellung der Zeit/Tempe­ratur beendet und der Raumthermostat befi ndet sich wieder in Programmierschritt 1.
Sie können nun den nächsten Tag programmieren, falls
gewünscht (Kopierfunktion siehe Kapitel 9. d).
Mit der Taste „MENU“ (4) gelangen Sie bei Bedarf zum jeweils
vorherigen Programmierschritt.

Beachten Sie:
Die Fehlprogrammierung von Zeiten wird automatisch verhindert, damit es nicht zu einem Durcheinander der Schaltvorgänge kommt.
Wenn Sie z.B. im Speicher „P1“ ab 6:00 Uhr eine Tem­peratur von 20,0 °C und im Speicher „P2“ ab 9:00 Uhr eine Temperatur von 18,0 °C eingestellt haben, kann im Speicher „P3“ keine Zeit niedriger als 9:10 Uhr program­miert werden.
c) Funktion G3 „PROGRAM SETBACK“
Wenn Sie die Temperaturwerte aller Programme z.B. um 1 °C verändern wollen, müssen Sie nicht umständlich die gesamte Programmierung ändern.
Es genügt, in der Funktion G3 „PROGRAM SETBACK“ einen
Korrekturwert (-3,0 °C......+3,0 °C) einzustellen.
Wenn Sie anschließend in der Funktion G2 „PROGRAM SETTING“ Ihre Temperaturen kontrollieren, wird dort der entsprechend korrigierte Wert angezeigt.
Beispiel: Im Programm „P1“ ist als Zeit 6:00 Uhr und als Temperaturwert
20,0 °C eingestellt. Nach der Programmierung von „-1,0 °C“ in der Funktion „PRO-
GRAM SETBACK“ steht nun im Programm „P1“ als Temperaturwert 19,0 °C.
Wenn Sie in der Funktion „PROGRAM SETBACK“ erneut „0,0 °C“ einstellen, steht im Programm „P1“ wieder eine Temperatur von 20,0 °C.
Gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
1. Nach der Auswahl der Funktion G3 „PROGRAM SETBACK“
und Bestätigung mit der Taste „OK“ (5) blinkt der Temperatur­Korrekturwert im Display.
2. Stellen Sie mit den Tasten „–“ (3) und „+“ (2) den Korrektur-
wert ein (-3,0 °C......+3,0 °C).

Beispiel: Unteres Temperaturlimit: +5,0 °C Oberes Temperaturlimit: +45 °C Korrekturwert: 0,0 °C P1 = 5,0 °C, P2 = 12,0 °C, P3 =45,0 °C, P4 = 20,0 °C Wenn Sie den Korrekturwert auf -3,0 °C einstellen, zeigt

0,0 °C, so zeigt die Funktion G2 folgende Temperaturen an:
P1 = 8,0 °C, P2 = 12,0 °C, P3 = 45,0 °C, P4 = 20,0 °C Wenn Sie den Korrekturwert auf +3,0 °C einstellen, zeigt

d) Funktion G4 „PROGRAM COPY“
Mit dieser Funktion können Sie das komplette Programm (Zeiten/ Temperaturen) eines bestimmten Tages auf einen anderen Tag umkopieren.
Gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
1. Nach der Auswahl der Funktion G4 „PROGRAM COPY“ und Be-
stätigung mit der Taste „OK“ (5) blinkt am oberen Displayrand die Zahl für den Wochentag und in der untersten Displayzeile steht „PROGRAM COPY“.
2. Wählen Sie mit den Tasten „–“ (3) und „+“ (2) den Tag aus,
dessen Programm Sie kopieren wollen (Quelle).
3. Bestätigen Sie die Auswahl mit der Taste „OK“ (5). In der un-
tersten Zeile steht „PROGRAM PLASTER“.
4. Wählen Sie mit den Tasten „–“ (3) und „+“ (2) den Tag aus, des-
sen Programm Sie mit den Quelldaten überschreiben wollen (Ziel).
Beim Überschreiben gehen alle evtl. vorhanden Zeiten/Tem-
peraturen des Ziel-Tages verloren.
Wollen Sie die Kopierfunktion abbrechen, drücken Sie wie
gewohnt (ggf. mehrfach) die Taste „MENU“ (4).
5. Bestätigen Sie die Auswahl mit der Taste „OK“ (5). In der
untersten Zeile steht nun „PROGRAM SUCCEED“, die Daten wurden kopiert.
6. Am oberen Displayrand blinkt jetzt erneut die Zahl für
den Wochentag und in der untersten Displayzeile steht „PROGRAM PLASTER“.
Falls gewünscht, können Sie die Quelldaten auf einen weite-
ren Tag umkopieren. Fahren Sie bei Schritt 4 fort.
Zum Verlassen der Kopierfunktion und zur Rückkehr zur Nor-
malanzeige drücken Sie die Taste „MENU“ (4) ggf. mehrfach.

e) Funktion G5 „CLOCK SETTINGS“
Hier können Sie die Uhrzeitanzeige zwischen dem 12h- und 24h­Modus umschalten und das Datum und die Uhrzeit einstellen.
Gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
1. Nach der Auswahl der Funktion G5 „CLOCK SETTINGS“ und
Bestätigung mit der Taste „OK“ (5) blinkt die Anzeige „12H“ bzw. „24H“.
2. Wählen Sie mit den Tasten „–“ (3) und „+“ (2) können Sie zwi-
schen dem 12h- und dem 24h-Modus umschalten.
Im 12h-Modus wird in der ersten Tageshälfte „AM“ hinter der
Uhrzeit angezeigt, in der zweiten Tageshälfte „PM“.
3. Bestätigen Sie die Auswahl mit der Taste „OK“ (5). Im Display
blinkt nun das Jahr (Anzeige „YEAR“ unten im Display).
4. Stellen Sie mit den Tasten „–“ (3) und „+“ (2) das Jahr ein (zur
Schnellverstellung die jeweilige Taste länger gedrückt hal­ten). Wenn die Anzeige „0000“ erscheint, drücken Sie einmal kurz die Taste „–“ (3).
5. Bestätigen Sie die Einstellung mit der Taste „OK“ (5). Im Dis-
play blinkt der Monat (Anzeige „MONTH“ unten im Display).
6. Stellen Sie mit den Tasten „–“ (3) und „+“ (2) den Monat ein
(zur Schnellverstellung die jeweilige Taste länger gedrückt halten).
7. Bestätigen Sie die Einstellung mit der Taste „OK“ (5). Im Dis-
play blinkt das Datum (Anzeige „DAY“ unten im Display).
8. Stellen Sie mit den Tasten „–“ (3) und „+“ (2) das Datum ein
(zur Schnellverstellung die jeweilige Taste länger gedrückt halten).
9. Bestätigen Sie die Einstellung mit der Taste „OK“ (5). Im Dis-
play blinken die Stunden der Uhrzeit (Anzeige „HOUR“ unten im Display).
10. Stellen Sie mit den Tasten „–“ (3) und „+“ (2) die Stunden ein
(zur Schnellverstellung die jeweilige Taste länger gedrückt halten).

f) Funktion G6 „SUMMERTIME SET“
Die Sommer-/Winterzeit-Umschaltung kann automatisch vorge­nommen werden. Dabei erfolgt die Umschaltung zur Sommerzeit am letzten Sonntag im März, die Umschaltung zur Winterzeit am letzten Sonntag im Oktober.
Gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
1. Nach der Auswahl der Funktion G6 „SUMMERTIME SET“ und
Bestätigung mit der Taste „OK“ (5) blinkt die Anzeige „YES“ bzw. „NO“.
2. Mit den Tasten „–“ (3) und „+“ (2) können Sie wählen zwi-
schen: „YES“ = automatische Umschaltung „NO“ = keine automatische Umschaltung

g) Funktion G7 „FLORT SETTINGS“
Durch die Verwendung eines zusätzlichen externen Temperatur­fühlers (nicht im Lieferumfang, als Zubehör erhältlich), der an den Klemmen RT1 und RT2 angeschlossen werden muss, ergeben sich weitere Einsatzmöglichkeiten durch den Raumthermostat, z.B. die zusätzliche Überwachung der Fußbodentemperatur einer Fußbodenheizung.
Nach dem Einschalten der Funktion G7 „FLORT SETTINGS“ und der Einstellung einer Temperatur überwacht der Raumthermostat sowohl den intern eingebauten Temperaturfühler als auch den externen Fühler.
Da eine Fußbodenheizung nur sehr langsam reagiert,
kann in der Funktion G7 für den externen Temperatur­fühler nur eine einzige feste Temperatur eingestellt werden, die für jeden Tag und jede Uhrzeit gilt.
Beispiel für Heiz-Modus:
Im Heiz-Modus wird eine Raumtemperatur von 23,0 °C einge­stellt, die Hysterese auf 0,5 °C und die Fußbodentemperatur auf 20,0 °C.
Wenn der Raumthermostat eine Raumtemperatur von über 23,5 °C misst ODER die Fußbodentemperatur über 20,5 °C liegt, wird der angeschlossene Verbraucher ausgeschaltet.
Liegt die Raumtemperatur unter 22,5 °C UND die Fußbodentem­peratur liegt unter 19,5 °C, so wird der angeschlossene Verbrau­cher eingeschaltet und das Symbol „
“ erscheint.
Beispiel für Kühl-Modus:
Im Kühl-Modus wird eine Raumtemperatur von 25,0 °C eingestellt, die Hysterese auf 0,5 °C und die Fußbodentemperatur auf 27,0 °C.
Wenn der Raumthermostat eine Raumtemperatur von unter 24,5 °C misst ODER die Fußbodentemperatur unter 26,5 °C liegt, wird der angeschlossene Verbraucher ausgeschaltet.
Liegt die Raumtemperatur über 25,5 °C UND die Fußbodentem­peratur liegt unter 27,5 °C, so wird der angeschlossene Verbrau­cher eingeschaltet und das Symbol „
“ erscheint.

h) Funktion G8 „TEMP LIMITS“
Sie können hier das untere und obere Temperaturlimit für die Pro­grammierung in der Funktion G2 einstellen.
Durch die Einschränkung auf einen kleineren Temperaturbereich
(z.B. nur auf +5....+30 °C) wird die Programmierung beschleunigt
und man kann nicht versehentlich eine falsche Temperatur pro­grammieren.
Gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
1. Nach der Auswahl der Funktion G8 „TEMP LIMITS“ und Bestä-
tigung mit der Taste „OK“ (5) blinkt der Wert für das untere
Temperaturlimit im Display (Anzeige „TEMP MINLIMIT“ unten
im Display).
2. Stellen Sie das untere Temperaturlimit mit den Tasten „–“ (3)
und „+“ (2) ein.
3. Bestätigen Sie die Einstellung mit der Taste „OK“ (5). Der Wert für das obere Temperaturlimit blinkt im Display
(Anzeige „TEMP MAXLIMIT“ unten im Display).
4. Stellen Sie das obere Temperaturlimit mit den Tasten „–“ (3)
und „+“ (2) ein.
5. Bestätigen Sie die Einstellung mit der Taste „OK“ (5). Der Raumthermostat befi ndet sich daraufhin wieder im vor-
herigen Menü zur Auswahl der Funktionen. Zum Verlassen des Menüs und zur Rückkehr zur Normal-

i) Funktion G9 „TEMP CALIBRATE“
In dieser Funktion ist es möglich, die Temperatur anhand eines Referenzwerts zu kalibrieren bzw. einen Temperaturoffset einzu­stellen.
Angenommen, die Temperaturanzeige eines anderen Thermo­meters zeigt +22,0 °C und die Anzeige des Raumthermostats +21,8 °C, so ist in der Funktion G9 ein Offset von +0,2 °C einzu­stellen. Anschließend erscheint im Display des Raumthermostats ebenfalls +22,0 °C.
Die Funktion kann auch verwendet werden, um die Raumtem­peratur entsprechend anzuheben oder abzusenken. Wenn der Raumthermostat z.B. an einer Außenmauer montiert ist, so ist dort die Raumtemperatur anders als an einer Mauer im Inneren des Gebäudes. Durch simple Einstellung eines Offsets lässt sich dann die Steuerung des angeschlossenen Verbrauchers beein­fl ussen, ohne die Programmierung in der Funktion G2 umständ­lich ändern zu müssen.
Gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
1. Nach der Auswahl der Funktion G9 „TEMP CALIBRATE“ und
Bestätigung mit der Taste „OK“ (5) blinkt der Offset-Tempera-
turwert.
2. Stellen Sie den gewünschten Offset mit den Tasten „–“ (3)
und „+“ (2) ein (Bereich -5,0.....+5,0 °C).
3. Bestätigen Sie die Einstellung mit der Taste „OK“ (5). Der Raumthermostat befi ndet sich daraufhin wieder im vor-
herigen Menü zur Auswahl der Funktionen. Zum Verlassen des Menüs und zur Rückkehr zur Normal-
anzeige drücken Sie die Taste „MENU“ (4) ggf. mehrfach. Wenn ein anderer Wert als 0,0 °C eingestellt wurde, hat sich nun
die Temperaturanzeige im Display um den eingestellten Wert erhöht bzw. verringert.

j) Funktion G10 „SWING SETTING“
Damit es nicht zu einem zu häufi gen Ein-/Ausschalten des ange- schlossenen Verbrauchers kommt, kann in der Funktion G10 die sogenannte Hysterese eingestellt werden.
Dabei wird der Verbraucher erst dann eingeschaltet, wenn eine bestimmte Abweichung zur Solltemperatur über- bzw. unter­schritten wird (abhängig vom Betriebsmodus H1 („HEAT OR COOL“, Heizen oder Kühlen).
• Heizmodus („HEAT“) Beispiel: Hysterese = 0,5 °C, programmierte Temperatur = +20,0 °C Verbraucher wird eingeschaltet bei <= +19,5 °C Verbraucher wird ausgeschaltet bei >= +20,5 °C
• Kühlmodus („COOL“) Beispiel: Hysterese = 0,5 °C, programmierte Temperatur = +20,0 °C Verbraucher wird eingeschaltet bei <= +20,5 °C Verbraucher wird ausgeschaltet bei >= +19,5 °C Gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
1. Nach der Auswahl der Funktion G10 „SWING SETTING“ und
Bestätigung mit der Taste „OK“ (5) blinkt der Temperaturwert
für die Einstellung der Hysterese (Grundeinstellung ist 0,5 °C).
2. Stellen Sie den gewünschten Wert für die Hysterese mit den
Tasten „–“ (3) und „+“ (2) ein (Bereich 0,2....2,0 °C).
3. Bestätigen Sie die Einstellung mit der Taste „OK“ (5). Der Raumthermostat befi ndet sich daraufhin wieder im vor-
herigen Menü zur Auswahl der Funktionen. Zum Verlassen des Menüs und zur Rückkehr zur Normal-
anzeige drücken Sie die Taste „MENU“ (4) ggf. mehrfach.
Beachten Sie, dass es bei einem zu geringen Wert für die
Hysterese zu einem sehr häufi gen Ein-/Ausschalten des Verbrauchers kommt!

k) Funktion G11 „ENERGY CONSUME“
Damit Sie die Betriebsdauer des Verbrauchers überwachen kön­nen, lässt sich in dieser Funktion die Zeit anzeigen, wie lange der Verbraucher eingeschaltet war.
Beachten Sie:
Es wird nicht der tatsächliche Energie-„Verbrauch“ ange­zeigt (Leistungsaufnahme), sondern nur die Zeit, in der der angeschlossene Verbraucher eingeschaltet war.
Die Einschaltdauer wird dabei umgerechnet in Wochen (168 Stunden), Monate (720 Stunden) und Jahre (8640 Stunden) und entsprechend im Display angezeigt.
Gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
1. Nach der Auswahl der Funktion G11 „ENERGY CONSUME“ und
Bestätigung mit der Taste „OK“ (5) erscheint unten links im
Display „WEEK“ (Woche) und rechts daneben die Einschalt-
dauer. Jede Woche steht für eine Einschaltdauer von 168 Stunden. Der Zähler hinter „WEEK“ erhöht sich immer erst dann, wenn
der Verbraucher 168 Stunden aktiviert war Beispiel: Nach der Erstinbetriebnahme des Raumthermostats
erhöht sich der Zähler bei „WEEK“ bei einer Einschaltdauer
von 8 Stunden pro Tag erst nach 21 Tagen auf „1“.
2. Drücken Sie die Taste „OK“ (5), so wird „MONTH“ (Monat) an-
gezeigt. Jeder Monat steht für eine Einschaltdauer von 720 Stunden.

Bei aktivierter Tastensperre wird im Display neben der Tempera­tur ein kleines Schloss-Symbol angezeigt.
Beim Drücken der Taste „–“ (3) oder „+“ (2) passiert nun nichts mehr; beim Drücken der Taste „MENU“ (4) bzw. „OK“ (5) erscheint die Anzeige „CODE“ und darunter blinkt die Zahl „0“.
Um die Tastensperre aufzuheben, geben Sie mittels den Tasten „–“ (3) und „+“ (2) den Code „3“ ein und drücken Sie die Taste „OK“ (5).
Die Tastensperre ist daraufhin wieder deaktiviert.
m) Funktion G13 „BACKLIGHT“
Bei jedem Tastendruck wird die Hintergrundbeleuchtung für 15 Sekunden aktiviert und erlischt daraufhin automatisch (Grund­einstellung).
Falls gewünscht, können Sie die Hintergrundbeleuchtung dauer­haft deaktivieren.
Gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
1. Nach der Auswahl der Funktion G13 „BACKLIGHT“ und Bestä-
tigung mit der Taste „OK“ (5) blinkt unten rechts die Anzeige
„SHORT“ bzw. „OFF“.
2. Mit den Tasten „–“ (3) und „+“ (2) kann nun zwischen „SHORT“

10. Menü „INSTALL SETTINGS“

„MENU“ (4). In der untersten Displayzeile erscheint „USER SETTINGS“.
• Mit den Tasten „–“ (3) und „+“ (2) können Sie umschalten zwi-
schen „USER SETTINGS“ und „INSTALL SETTINGS“.
Wählen Sie „INSTALL SETTINGS“ und drücken Sie dann die
Taste „OK“ (5).
• Anschließend lässt sich mit den Tasten „–“ (3) und „+“ (2) die
gewünschte Funktion auswählen (siehe nachfolgende Unterka­pitel bzw. Kurzbeschreibung in Kapitel 8. b).

• Wenn Sie eine Funktion bzw. das Einstellmenü verlassen

a) Funktion H1 „HEAT OR COOL“
Die Einstellung dieser Funktion entscheidet, ob der Raumther­mostat in Verbindung mit einem Heiz- oder Kühlgerät betrieben wird.
Abhängig von der gewählten Betriebsart („HEAT“ = Heiz-Modus, „COOL“ = Kühl-Modus) wird das entsprechende Relais an den An­schlussklemmen COM1/NC1/NO1 bzw. COM2/NC2/NO2 geschaltet, wenn die gemessene Temperatur den Wert in der Programmie­rung über- oder unterschreitet (ab welcher Differenz ist abhängig von der Einstellung der Hysterese).
• „HEAT“ = Heiz-Modus Der Verbraucher wird eingeschaltet, wenn die gemessene Tem-
peratur unter dem Wert in der Programmierung liegt.
Diese Betriebsart ist zu verwenden, wenn eine Heizung gesteu-
ert werden soll.
• „COOL“ = Kühl-Modus Der Verbraucher wird eingeschaltet, wenn die gemessene Tem-
peratur über dem Wert in der Programmierung liegt.
Diese Betriebsart ist zu verwenden, wenn ein Kühlgerät/Lüfter
gesteuert werden soll.

b) Funktion H2 „VALVE PROTECT“
Bei Ansteuerung eines elektrisch betriebenen Heizkörperventils kann diese Funktion helfen, ein Verkalken des Ventils zu vermei­den.
Ist die Kalkschutz-Funktion eingeschaltet, so wird der ange­schlossene Verbraucher jeden Tag um 10:00 Uhr (vormittags) für die Dauer von 1 bis 10 Minuten (einstellbar) aktiviert, unabhängig von der jeweils vorhandenen Programmierung.
Gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
1. Nach der Auswahl der Funktion H2 „VALVE PROTECT“ und Be-
stätigung mit der Taste „OK“ (5) blinkt entweder „OFF“ oder
eine Zahl zwischen 1 und 10.
2. Mit den Tasten „–“ (3) und „+“ (2) kann die Kalkschutz-Funk-
tion entsprechend eingestellt werden: „OFF“ = Kalkschutz-Funktion ausgeschaltet
„1“......„10“ = Öffnungsdauer des Ventils in Minuten; Kalk-

c) Funktion H3 „FROST PROTECT“
Die Funktion „FROST PROTECT“ ist nur im Heiz-Modus
(siehe Kapitel 10. a) verfügbar oder wenn der Raumther­mostat abgeschaltet wurde (siehe Kapitel 11 a).
Um eine fl üssigkeitsbasierte Heizung vor dem Einfrieren zu schützen, kann die Frostschutz-Funktion aktiviert werden.
Dabei wird der angeschlossene Verbraucher unabhängig vom eingestellten Programm aktiviert, wenn die Temperatur zu stark
absinkt (Temperaturgrenze zwischen +5,0....+7,0 °C einstellbar).
Gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
1. Nach der Auswahl der Funktion H3 „FROST PROTECT“ und Be-
stätigung mit der Taste „OK“ (5) blinkt entweder „OFF“ oder
ein Temperaturwert.
2. Mit den Tasten „–“ (3) und „+“ (2) kann die Frostschutz-Funk-
tion entsprechend eingestellt werden: „OFF“ = Frostschutz-Funktion ausgeschaltet
Temperaturwert „5,0 °C“....„7,0 °C“ = Temperaturgrenze; bei
Unterschreiten wird die Netzsteckdose des Raumthermos-
tats aktiviert

d) Funktion H4 „OPTIMUM START“
Die Funktion „OPTIMUM START“ ist nur im Heiz-Modus
(siehe Kapitel 10. a) verfügbar.
Je nach angeschlossener Heizung, Raumgröße und Umgebungs­bedingungen kann der angeschlossene Verbraucher ggf. früher aktiviert werden, um die gewünschte Temperatur schneller zu er­reichen. Der Raumthermostat merkt sich dabei, wie lange es am Vortag gedauert hat und startet daraufhin den angeschlossenen Verbraucher entsprechend früher.
Beispiel: Die Startzeit des Verbrauchers ist lt. Programmierung für jeden Tag der Woche 6:00 Uhr.
Wenn der Aufheizvorgang z.B. am Montag 30 Minuten gedauert hat, um die gewünschte Temperatur zu erreichen, so wird der Ver­braucher am Dienstag bereits um 5:30 Uhr aktiviert.
Sollte jedoch die gewünschte Temperatur am Dienstag bereits nach einem Aufheizvorgang von 25 Minuten erreicht werden, so wird der Verbraucher am Mittwoch erst um 5:35 Uhr aktiviert.
Wie Sie sehen, verändert sich die Zeit, wann der Verbraucher aktiviert wird, abhängig von der Dauer des Aufheizvorgangs am Vortag automatisch.
Gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
1. Nach der Auswahl der Funktion H4 „OPTIMUM START“ und
Bestätigung mit der Taste „OK“ (5) blinkt entweder „YES“
oder „NO“.
2. Mit den Tasten „–“ (3) und „+“ (2) können Sie wählen zwi-
schen: „YES“ = Funktion „OPTIMUM START“ eingeschaltet „NO“ = Funktion „OPTIMUM START“ ausgeschaltet

Hierüber wird der Raumthermostat auf die Werkseinstellungen zurückgesetzt.
Alle Einstellungen und Programmierungen gehen dabei
unwiderrufl ich verloren. Gehen Sie anschließend zur Programmierung wie in den
vorangegangenen Kapiteln beschrieben vor.
Gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
1. Nach der Auswahl der Funktion H5 „RESET ALL“ und Bestäti-
gung mit der Taste „OK“ (5) blinkt entweder „YES“ oder „NO“.
2. Mit den Tasten „–“ (3) und „+“ (2) können Sie wählen zwi-
schen: „YES“ = Reset durchführen „NO“ = Abbruch
3. Bestätigen Sie die Auswahl mit der Taste „OK“ (5). Bei Auswahl von „YES“ werden alle Einstellungen auf die
Werkseinstellungen zurückgesetzt, dies dauert einige
Sekunden (währenddessen sind alle Tasten des Touchscreen-
Displays ohne Funktion). Der Raumthermostat befi ndet sich daraufhin wieder im vor-
herigen Menü zur Auswahl der Funktionen. Zum Verlassen des Menüs und zur Rückkehr zur Normal-
anzeige drücken Sie die Taste „MENU“ (4) ggf. mehrfach.

11. Sonstige Funktionen
a) Raumthermostat aus-/einschalten
Soll der Raumthermostat vorübergehend ausgeschaltet werden, um z.B. ein laufendes Programm für einige Tage zu unterbrechen, so gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
1. Halten Sie in der normalen Anzeige des Raumthermostats
(Uhrzeit/Temperatur im Display) die Taste „MENU“ (4) für 10
Sekunden gedrückt. Daraufhin erscheint unten links im Display „OFF“. Der Raumthermostat ist vorübergehend deaktiviert.
2. Zum Einschalten des Raumthermostats halten Sie in der
normalen Anzeige (Uhrzeit/Temperatur im Display) die Taste
„MENU“ (4) für 10 Sekunden gedrückt. Daraufhin verschwindet die Anzeige „OFF“ unten links im Dis-
play, der Raumthermostat arbeitet nun wieder entsprechend
der Programmierung.

b) Manuelle Temperaturvorwahl
Sie können jederzeit die bestehende Programmierung überge­hen und die gewünschte Temperatur manuell einstellen.
Diese Funktion ist nur dann möglich, wenn eine Pro-
grammierung vorhanden ist (siehe Kapitel 9. b). Bei Erstinbetriebnahme (oder nach einem Reset) ist dies
nicht der Fall, deshalb kann zu diesem Zeitpunkt auch keine manuelle Temperatureinstellung vorgenommen werden.
1. Der Raumthermostat muss sich in der normalen Anzeige be-
fi nden (Uhrzeit/Temperatur im Display). Wie gerade beschrieben, muss eine Programmierung vorhan-
den sein.
2. Stellen Sie die gewünschte manuelle Temperatur mit den
Tasten „–“ (3) und „+“ (2) ein (ein Hand-Symbol erscheint). Die Temperatur kann innerhalb der eingestellten Temperatur-
grenzen (siehe Kapitel 9. h) gewählt werden.
3. Bestätigen Sie die Einstellung mit der Taste „OK“ (5). Der Raumthermostat befi ndet sich daraufhin wieder in der
normalen Anzeige.
4. So lange das Hand-Symbol im Display sichtbar ist, kann die
Temperatur mit den Tasten „–“ (3) und „+“ (2) jederzeit verän-
dert werden.
Die manuelle Betriebsart wird automatisch beendet, wenn der nächste Schaltpunkt anhand der Programmierung erreicht wird (z.B. am nächsten Tag).
Sie können die manuelle Betriebsart auch selbst beenden, indem Sie die Taste „MENU“ (4) oder „OK“ (5) kurz drücken.
Wenn die manuelle Betriebsart beendet wurde, verschwindet das Hand-Symbol. Die Temperatursteuerung übernimmt nun wieder das eingestellte Programm.

c) Manuelle Temperaturvorwahl für 1....24 Stunden
Die manuelle Temperaturvorwahl (siehe Kapitel 11. b) kann auch
für eine feste Zeit von 1....24 Stunden gelten. Während dieser Zeit-
dauer wird die bestehende Programmierung nicht ausgeführt.
Diese Funktion ist nur dann möglich, wenn eine Pro-
grammierung vorhanden ist (siehe Kapitel 9. b). Bei Erstinbetriebnahme (oder nach einem Reset) ist dies
nicht der Fall, deshalb kann zu diesem Zeitpunkt auch keine manuelle Temperaturvorwahl für eine bestimmte Zeitdauer vorgenommen werden.

Sie die jeweilige Taste länger gedrückt.
5. Bestätigen Sie die Einstellung mit der Taste „OK“ (5). Der Raumthermostat befi ndet sich daraufhin wieder in der
normalen Anzeige. Sie können die manuelle Temperaturvorwahl vorzeitig beenden,
indem Sie die Taste „MENU“ (4) oder „OK“ (5) kurz drücken. Wenn die manuelle Temperaturvorwahl beendet wurde, ver-
schwindet das Hand-Symbol. Die Temperatursteuerung über­nimmt nun wieder das eingestellte Programm.

d) Manuelle Temperaturvorwahl für 1....99 Tage
Diese Funktion (auch als Urlaubsfunktion bezeichnet) ermöglicht es, die Temperatur für längere Zeit auf einen festen Wert einzu­stellen. Während dieser Zeitdauer wird die bestehende Program­mierung nicht ausgeführt.
Diese Funktion ist nur dann möglich, wenn eine Pro-
grammierung vorhanden ist (siehe Kapitel 9. b). Bei Erstinbetriebnahme (oder nach einem Reset) ist dies
nicht der Fall, deshalb kann zu diesem Zeitpunkt auch keine manuelle Temperaturvorwahl für eine bestimmte Zeitdauer vorgenommen werden.

„–“ (3) und „+“ (2) ein. Für eine Schnellverstellung halten Sie
die jeweilige Taste länger gedrückt.
5. Bestätigen Sie die Einstellung mit der Taste „OK“ (5). Der Raumthermostat befi ndet sich daraufhin wieder in der
normalen Anzeige. Sie können die manuelle Temperaturvorwahl vorzeitig beenden,
indem Sie die Taste „MENU“ (4) oder „OK“ (5) kurz drücken. Wenn die manuelle Temperaturvorwahl beendet wurde, ver-
schwindet das Hand-Symbol. Die Temperatursteuerung über­nimmt nun wieder das eingestellte Programm.

12. Störungsbeseitigung
Verbraucher schaltet zu häufi g ein/aus
• Stellen Sie im Menü „USER SETTINGS“ in der Funktion G10
„SWING SETTING“ einen höheren Wert ein (Grundeinstellung ist 0,5 °C).
Manuelle Temperaturvorwahl nicht möglich
• Führen Sie zunächst eine Programmierung durch, siehe Kapitel
9. b).
Raumtemperatur zu hoch oder zu niedrig
• Stellen Sie im Menü „USER SETTINGS“ in der Funktion G9
„TEMP CALIBRATE“ einen Offset-Wert ein, um die Regelung an die örtlichen Gegebenheiten anzupassen.
Alternativ können Sie mittels der Funktion G3 „PROGRAM SET-
BACK“ die Temperaturen der vorhandenen Programmierung direkt verändern.
Einstellbarer Temperaturbereich zu klein
• Stellen Sie im Menü „USER SETTINGS“ in der Funktion G8
„TEMP LIMITS“ die gewünschte obere und untere Temperatur­grenze korrekt ein.
Ab Werk voreingestellt ist eine untere Temperaturgrenze von
+5,0 °C und eine obere Grenze von +45,0 °C.
Falls erforderlich, lässt sich dieser Temperaturbereich entspre-
chend einschränken.

13. Wartung und Reinigung
Eine Wartung oder Reparatur ist nur durch eine Fachkraft oder Fachwerkstatt zulässig. Es sind keinerlei für Sie zu wartende Bestandteile im Inneren der Bestandteile des Produkts, öffnen/ zerlegen Sie es deshalb niemals.
Zur Reinigung der Außenseite genügt ein trockenes, weiches und sauberes Tuch. Drücken Sie nicht zu stark auf das Display oder Gehäuse, dies führt zu Kratzspuren.
Verwenden Sie auf keinen Fall aggressive Reinigungsmittel, Reini­gungsalkohol oder andere chemische Lösungen, da dadurch das Ge­häuse angegriffen oder gar die Funktion beeinträchtigt werden kann.
14. Entsorgung
Elektronische Geräte sind Wertstoffe und dürfen nicht in
den Hausmüll!
Entsorgen Sie das Produkt am Ende seiner Lebensdauer

The room thermostat can activate or deactivate a connected consumer according to temperature. Temperature measurement takes place via an internal sensor.
An additional external temperature sensor is available as an ac­cessory. It can be used, e.g., for control in connection with a fl oor heating.

7. Installation and Connection
Observe Chapter “Safety Information”!
• Install the room thermostat only on a stable underground, e.g. at a concealed socket in the wall. The room thermostat may be operated stationarily installed.
• The room thermostat must be protected with a 10/16A fuse in the on-site sub-distribution. A residual-current circuit-breaker must be used upstream of this.
• The room thermostat must only be installed when powered down.
Turn off the power on all poles of the mains supply by removing the
respective electric circuit fuse or switching off the circuit break­er and then deactivating the associated fault circuit interrupter. Protect it from unauthorised re-activation, e.g. with a danger sign.
• Check that the mains connection is free of current, e.g. with an appropriate tester.
• Turn the two screws (10) our a bit so that the operating unit can be removed from the assembly plate.
• There are 10 screw terminals at the assembly plate to which the mains supply line of the consumers or the consumers and external temperature sensors (not enclosed, can be ordered as accessories) can be connected.

The room thermostat offers the option of connecting
both a heater (electrical heater) and a cooler (fan, air conditioner). For this, it is mandatory that the correct terminal clamps are selected; see above.
For the respective device to be correctly activated/deac­tivated depending on the temperature, the setting menu “INSTALL SETTINGS” can be selected in the function H1 “HEAT OR COOL” (“HEAT” = heating mode, “COOL” = cool­ing mode).

• Ensure that the line wires are not stripped too far when con­necting them. This would cause short circuit.
As already described in the connection chart, observe that a
heater is connected to the terminals COM1 and NO1 and/or a cooler to terminals COM2 and NO2.
After commissioning, the setting menu must be selected de-
pending on the connected device of the heating or cooling mode.
It is also possible to connect a heater and a cooler at once. This
permits operation of the room thermostat in heating more in winter (an electrical heater is activated/deactivated tempera­ture-controlled) and switching to cooling mode in summer (e.g. a fan is activated/deactivated temperature-controlled).
Operation of a concurrently connected heater and cooler
is only possible alternatingly, depending on which oper­ating mode (“HEAT” = heating mode, “COOL” = cooling mode) you have chosen in the setting menu.
The cooler does not work in heating mode; the heater does not work in cooling mode.
• If you want to connect an external temperature sensor (not enclosed but available as an accessory), the polarity is ines­sential for connection.
• Place the cables so that they are not crushed or damaged by sharp edges.
• Place the assembly plate, e.g.on the concealed socket and at­tach them with two suitable screws. Observe that the contact tabs (8) point up and the screws (10) down.
Check for tight fi t of the assembly plate.

• First place the operating unit into the assembly plate at the top (roughly at an angle of 20°).
Push the operating unit slightly down and turn it fl at onto the
assembly plate.
• First fasten the operating unit to the assembly plate with the two screws (10).
• Check for tight fi t of the operating unit on the assembly plate.
• Switch on the mains voltage.
• The display then shows the temperature display (e.g. 22.0 °C) and the time “0:00”.
If no display appears, switch off the mains voltage on all pins
again (turn out fuse or deactivate circuit breaker, also deacti­vate the associated FI circuit breaker). First check for correct connection or ask a specialist.
• If the room thermostat is disconnected from the mains voltage for an extended period (e.g. power outage), you need to re-set or correct the date and time. The remaining programming is re­tained.
At shorter interruptions of the mains voltage, date and time
are retained since the room thermostat has an internal support function via a condensator.

8. Programming (Basics)
a) General Information on Operation
• The button “MENU” (4) calls the room menu of the universal thermostat, leaves a function (back one menu level) or returns to the normal display.
• Button “OK” (5) is used for confi rmation.
• The buttons “–” (3) and “+” (2) permits selection of a function or setting according to menu level.
• The bottom-most display line shows the corresponding text messages, e.g. the function in which the room thermostat cur­rently is. This strongly simplifi es programming.
• If you do not push any button for 15 seconds, the setting menu is left automatically without saving the last change made.
b) Calling up or Leaving the Main Menu
Briefl y push the “MENU” button (4). The bottom-most display line shows “USER SETTINGS”.
Use the “–” (3) and “+” (2) buttons to switch between “USER SET­TINGS” and “INSTALL SETTINGS”. Confi rm the selection with “OK” (5).
As already described in chapter 8. a), you may leave a function with the button “MENU” (4) (one menu level back) or completely leave the setting menu (the time and the currently measured temperature appears again).

The room thermostat has 3 independent memories for switching times/temperatures.
If you want to use different programmes depending on season (e,.g. for alternating control of a heating or cooling device, see information in chapter 7), you can store the respective matching times/temperatures in slots 1, 2 and 3.
1. After selecting this function G1 “PROGRAM SELECT” and
confi rming with “OK” (5), the memory slot number (1, 2 or 3) fl ashes in the display.
2. Select one of the 3 memory slots with the buttons “–” (3) and
“+” (2).
3. Confi rm the selection with “OK” (5).
The room thermostat is then in the previous menu for selec-
tion of functions again.
4. To leave the menu and return to the regular display, push the
button “MENU” (4), repeatedly if required.

b) Function G2 “PROGRAM SETTING”
The desired times and temperatures within which the room ther­mostat activates or deactivates the connected consumer accord­ing to temperature are set here.
For example, you can specify that a temperature of 20.0 °C ap­plies from 06:00:00 Am onwards, followed by a temperature of
18.0 °C from 09:00:00 onwards for the rest of the day.
Depending on whether you have selected the heating or cool­ing mode in “INSTALL SETTINGS” in the menu, the consumer connected to the room thermostat is activated or deactivated accordingly.
The connected consumer (e.g. an electrical heater) is activated in the heating mode if the temperature measured by the tem­perature sensor drops below the temperature value you have programmed.
To avoid too-frequent activation/deactivation processes, the tem­perature must deviate by the temperature hysteresis set in the function G10 “SWING SETTING” before the consumer connected to the room thermostat is activated (or deactivated).
Example: Programmed temperature value: 20.0 °C Temperature hysteresis: 0.5 °C Activation/deactivation process: At 19.5 °C or 20.5 °C Up to 7 different times at which the temperature may change
can be programmed per day (displayed as P1....P7) (step width 10
minutes). For example, you can specify that a temperature of 20.0 °C ap-
plies from 06:00:00 onwards in the fi rst memory stop “P1” and a temperature of 18.0 °C from 09:00:00 onwards in the second memory slot “P2”.
Proceed as follows for programming:
1. After selecting this function G2 “PROGRAM SETTING” and
confi rming with “OK” (5), the number(s) for the weekdays or day blocks fl ash at the upper display edge.

2. Select one of the individual days or one of the day blocks with
the buttons “–” (3) and “+” (2).

4. The time display at the top right starts to fl ash (if no time is
programmed yet, “- - : - -“). In addition to the time display, the
number of the memory stop is displayed (P1.....P7).
5. Set the time from which onwards the temperature is to apply
with the buttons “–” (3) and “+” (2) (steps of 10 minutes), e.g. 06:00. Keep the respective button pushed for quick adjust­ment.
6. Push the “OK” button (5). “SET AT” fl ashes at the upper right
of the display, and below it, the temperature value fl ashes (“SET AT” means “set to...”).
7. Set the desired temperature value with the buttons “–” (3)
and “+” (2), e.g. 20.0 °C. Keep the respective button pushed for quick adjustment.
8. Press the “OK” button (5).
9. Repeat steps 4 to 8 for the next times. If you set „- - : - -“ for the
time (between 23:50 and 0:00 hours), the setting of time/ temperature is terminated and the room thermostat is back to programme step 1.
You may now programme the next day if desired (for the
copy function, see chapter 9. d).
Use the button “MENU” (4) to return to the respective previ-
ous programming step if desired.

Note:
Incorrect programming of times is automatically prevent­ed so that the switching processes are not confused.
If you have, e.g., set a temperature of 20.0 °C from 06:00 onwards in memory slot “P1” and a temperature of 18.0°C from 09:00 onwards in memory slot “P2”, the memory slot “P3” cannot be programmed to any time before 09:10.
c) Function G3 “PROGRAM SETBACK”
If you want to change the temperature value of all programmes, e.g., by 1 °C, you do not need to change the entire programming.
You only need to set a correction value (-3.0 °C......+3.0 °C) in
the function G3 „PROGRAM SETBACK“. If you then check your temperatures in function G2 “PROGRAM
SETTING”, the value corrected accordingly is displayed there. Example: In programme “P1”, the time set is 06:00 and the temperature
value is 20.0 °C. After programming “-1.0 °C” in the function “PROGRAM SETBACK”,
the temperature value in programme “P1” is now 19.0 °C. If you set “0.0 °C” again in the function”PROGRAM SETBACK”, the
programme “P1” sets a temperature of 20.0 °C again. Proceed as follows:
1. After selecting this function G3 “PROGRAM SETBACK” and
confi rming with “OK” (5), the temperature correction value fl ashes in the display.
2. Set the correction value (-3.0 °C......+3.0 °C).with the buttons
“–” (3) and “+” (2).
3. Confi rm the setting with “OK” (5).
The room thermostat is then in the previous menu for selec-
tion of functions again.

If the correction value exceeds or undercuts the upper or lower temperature limit (for setting, see chapter 9. h), the saved temperature changes!

d) Function G4 “PROGRAM COPY”
This function is used to copy the entire programme (times/tem­peratures) of a specifi c day to another day.
Proceed as follows:
1. After selecting this function G4 “PROGRAM COPY” and con-
fi rming with “OK” (5), the number of the weekday fl ashes at the upper edge of the display and “PROGRAM COPY” appears in the bottom display line.
2. Select the day for the source programme with the buttons “–”
(3) and “+” (2).
3. Confi rm the selection with “OK” (5). The bottom line shows
“PROGRAM PLASTER”.
4.
Select the day for which you want to overwrite the programme with the source data with the buttons “–” (3) and “+” (2).
Overwriting deletes any times/temperatures of the target day
that may be saved. To cancel copying, push the “MENU” (4) (repeatedly if required)
as usual.
5. Confi rm the selection with “OK” (5). The bottom line now
shows „PROGRAM SUCCEED“. The data were copied.
6. The number for the weekday fl ashes at the upper edge of the
display again, and “PROGRAM PLASTER” appears in the bot­tom display line.
If desired, you can copy the source data to another day. Con-
tinue with step 4.
To leave the copying function and return to the regular dis-
play, push the button “MENU” (4), repeatedly if required.

e) Function G5 “CLOCK SETTINGS”
You may switch the time display between 12h and 24h mode here and set the date and time.
Proceed as follows:
1. After selecting this function G5 “CLOCK SETTINGS” and con-
fi rming with “OK” (5), the display “12H” or “24H” fl ashes.
2. Select 12h or 24h mode with the buttons “–” (3) and “+” (2).
In 12h-mode, “AM” is displayed to the behind the time in the
fi rst half of the day, “PM” in the second.
3. Confi rm the selection with “OK” (5). The year now fl ashes in
the display (display “YEAR” at the bottom of the display).
4. Set the year with the buttons “–” (3) or “+” (2) (for quick ad-
justment, keep the respective button pushed). Briefl y push the button “–” (3) once when the display shows “0000”.
5. Confi rm the setting with “OK” (5). The month now fl ashes in
the display (display “MONTH” at the bottom of the display).
6. Set the month with the buttons “–” (3) or “+” (2) (for quick
adjustment, keep the respective button pushed).
7. Confi rm the setting with “OK” (5). The date now fl ashes in the
display (display “DAY” at the bottom of the display).
8. Set the date with the buttons “–” (3) or “+” (2) (for quick ad-
justment, keep the respective button pushed).
9. Confi rm the setting with “OK” (5). The hours of the time fl ash
in the display (display “HOUR” at the bottom of the display).

Summer/winter time can be switched automatically. Summer time is activated on the last Sunday in March, winter time on the last Sunday in October.
Proceed as follows:
1. After selecting this function G6 “SUMMERTIME SET” and con-
fi rming with “OK” (5), the display “YES” or “NO” fl ashes.
2. Use the buttons “–” (3) and “+” (2) to select:
“YES” = automatic switching “NO” = no automatic switching
3. Confi rm the selection with “OK” (5).
The room thermostat is then in the previous menu for selec-
tion of functions again.
To leave the menu and return to the regular display, push the

g) Function G7 “FLORT SETTING”
Use of an additional external temperature sensor (not included, available as an accessory) that needs to be connected to the terminals RT1 and RT2 leads to additional options of use by the room thermostat, e.g. the additional supervision of the fl oor tem- perature of a fl oor heating.
After activation of the function G7 “FLORT SETTINGS” and the set­ting of a temperature, the room thermostat monitors both the internally installed temperature sensor and the external sensor.
Since a fl oor heating reacts very slowly, only a single
fi xed temperature can be set for the external tempera­ture sensor. It applies for every day and every time.
Heating mode example:
In heating mode, a room temperature of 23.0 °C is set, the hys­teresis is set to 0.5 °C and the fl oor temperature is set to 20.0 °C.
If the room thermostat measures a room temperature in excess of
23.5 °C OR the fl oor temperature is above 20.5 °C, the connected
consumer is deactivated. If the room temperature is below 22.5 °C AND the fl oor tempera-
ture below 19.5 °C, the connected consumer is activated and the symbol “ ” appears.
Cooling mode example:
In cooling mode, a room temperature of 25.0 °C is set, the hys­teresis is set to 0.5 °C and the fl oor temperature is set to 27.0 °C.
If the room thermostat measures a room temperature below of
24.5 °C OR the fl oor temperature is below 26.5 °C, the connected
consumer is deactivated. If the room temperature is above 25.5 °C AND the fl oor tempera-
ture below 27.5 °C, the connected consumer is activated and the symbol “
” appears.

Proceed as follows:

You can set the lower and upper temperature limits for program­ing in the function G2 here.
The limitation to the lower temperature range (e.g. only to
+5....+30 °C) accelerates programming. It is easy to programme
the wrong temperature here. Proceed as follows:
1. After selecting this function G8 “TEMP LIMITS” and confi rm-
ing with “OK” (5), the value for the lower temperature limit fl ashes in the display (display “TEMP MINLIMIT” at the bot­tom of the display).
2. Set the lower temperature limit with the buttons “–” (3) and
“+” (2).
3. Confi rm the setting with “OK” (5).
The value for the upper temperature limit fl ashes in the
display (display „TEMP MAXLIMIT“ at the bottom of the dis­play).
4. Set the upper temperature limit with the buttons “–” (3) and

i) Function G9 “TEMP CALIBRATE”
This function permits calibrating the temperature with a reference value or setting a temperature offset.
Assuming that the temperature display of another thermom­eter shows +22.0 °C and the display of the room thermostat shows +21.8 °C, an offset of +0.2 °C must be set for the function G9. Then the display of the room thermostat also shows +22.0 °C.
The function can also be used to raise or lower the room tempera­ture accordingly. When the room thermostat is installed, e.g., at an outer wall, the room temperature there is different from that at a wall inside the building. Simple setting of an offset permits infl uencing the control of the connected consumer without hav- ing to elaborately change the programming in the function G2.
Proceed as follows:
1. After selecting this function G9 “TEMP CALIBRATE” and con-
fi rming with “OK” (5), the offset temperature value fl ashes.
2. Set the desired offset (-5.0 °C.....+5.0 °C).with the buttons “–”
(3) and “+” (2).
3. Confi rm the setting with “OK” (5).
The room thermostat is then in the previous menu for selec-
tion of functions again.
To leave the menu and return to the regular display, push the
button “MENU” (4), repeatedly if required.
If another value than 0.0 °C was set, the temperature display is now increased or reduced by the set value.

j) Function G10 “SWING SETTING”
To prevent the connected consumer from switch on/off too often, the hysteresis can be set in the function G10.
The consumer is only activated when a specifi c deviation from the target temperature is exceeded or undercut (depending on operating mode H1 (“HEAT OR COOL”).
• Heating mode (“HEAT”)
Example: Hysteresis = 0.5 °C, programmed temperature = +20.0 °C Consumer is activated at <= +19.5 °C Consumer is deactivated at >= +20.5 °C
• Cooling mode (“COOL”)

k) Function G11 “ENERGY CONSUME”
For the operating duration of the consumer to be monitored, this function can display the time of how long the consumer was ac­tivated.
Note:
The time displayed is not the actual energy “consump­tion” (power consumption), but only the time during which the mains socket at the front of the universal ther­mostat was active.
The activation duration is converted into weeks (168 hours), months (720 hours) and years (8640 hours) and displayed accordingly.
Proceed as follows:
1. After selecting the function G11 “ENERGY CONSUME” and con-
fi rming with “OK” (5), lower left of the display shows “WEEK”
and the activation duration is displayed to the right of it. Every week represents and activation duration of 168 hours. The counter behind “WEEK” increases only when the consum-
er was active for 168 hours. Example: After individual commissioning of the room thermo-
stat, the “WEEK” counter increases to “1” only after 21 days if
activated for 8 hours per day.
2. If you push the “OK” button (5), “MONTH” is displayed. Every month represents and activation duration of 720 hours.
3. If you push the “OK” button (5), “YEAR” is displayed. Every year represents and activation duration of 8640 hours.

shows „RESET“ and „NO“ fl ashes in the display.

With the keylock activated, the display shows a small lock icon next to the temperature.
Nothing happens anymore now when pushing the button “–” (3) or “+” (2); when pushing the button “MENU” (4) or “OK” (5), the display “CODE” appears and the number “0” fl ashes.
To revoke the key lock, enter the code “3” with the buttons “–” (3) and “+” (2) and push the button „OK“ (5).
The key lock is then deactivated again.
m) Function G13 “BACKLIGHT”
Every time a button is pushed, the backlighting is activated for 15 seconds and goes out automatically then (basic setting).
If desired, you may permanently deactivate backlighting. Proceed as follows:
1. After selecting this function G13 “BACKLIGHT” and confi rming
with “OK” (5), the display “SHORT” or “OFF” fl ashes.

and “OFF” now. “SHORT” = Backlighting is activated for 15 seconds every time

8. b). The bottom-most display line shows “USER SETTINGS“.
• Use the “–” (3) and “+” (2) buttons to switch between “USER
SETTINGS” and “INSTALL SETTINGS”.
Select “INSTALL SETTINGS” and push the button „OK“ (5).
• Then the buttons –” (3) and “+” (2) can be used to select the de-
sired function (see following subchapters or short description in chapter 8. b).

a) Function H1 “HEAT OR COOL”
The setting of this function divides on whether the room thermo­stat is operated in connection with a heating or cooling device.
Depending on the selected operating mode (“HEAD”, “COOL”), the respective relay is switched at the terminal clamps socket COM1/NC1/NO1 or COM2/NC2/NO2 when the measured tempera­ture exceeds or undercuts the value in the programming (as of which difference depending on the hysteresis setting).
• “HEAT” = Heating mode The consumer is activated when the measured temperature is
below the value programmed.
Use this operating mode when the you want to control a heat-
ing.
• “COOL” = cooling mode The consumer is activated when the measured temperature is
above the value programmed.
Use this operating mode when the you want to control a cool-
ing device/fan.

b) Function H2 “VALVE PROTECT”
When controlling an electrically powered heater valve, this func­tion may help to prevent scale formation in the valve.
If the scale protection function was activated, the connected consumer is activated daily at 10:00 AM for 1 to 10 minutes (ad­justable), independently of the respective present programming.
Proceed as follows:
1. After selecting this function H2 “VALVE PROTECT” and con-
fi rming with “OK” (5), either “OFF” or a number between 1 and
10 fl ashes.
2. The scaling function can be set accordingly with the buttons
“–” (3) and “+” (2): “OFF” = scale protection function off
“1”......”10” = Opening duration of the valve in minutes, scale
protection function on
3. Confi rm the setting with “OK” (5). The room thermostat is then in the previous menu for selec-
tion of functions again. To leave the menu and return to the regular display, push the
button “MENU” (4), repeatedly if required.
The function should only be activated if the room ther-
mostat controls a suitable consumer.

c) Function H3 “FROST PROTECT”
The function “FROST PROTECT” is only available in heat-
ing mode (see chapter 10. a) or if the room thermostat was deactivated (see chapter 11 a).
To protect a liquid-based heating from freezing, the frost-protec­tion function can be activated.
The connected consumer is activated independently of the set programme if the temperature drops too far (temperature limit
between +5.0....+7.0 °C).
Proceed as follows:
1. After selecting this function H3 “FROST PROTECT” and con-
fi rming with “OK” (5), either “OFF” or a temperature value
fl ashes.
2. The frost protection function can be set accordingly with the
buttons “–” (3) and “+” (2): “OFF” = Frost protection function off
Temperature value “5.0 °C”....”7.0 °C” = temperature thresh-
old; the mains socket of the room thermostat is deactivated
when this value is undercut
3. Confi rm the setting with “OK” (5). The room thermostat is then in the previous menu for selec-
tion of functions again. To leave the menu and return to the regular display, push the
button “MENU” (4), repeatedly if required.

d) Function H4 “OPTIMUM START”
The function “OPTIMUM START” is only available in heat-
ing mode (see chapter 10. a).
Depending on connected heating, room size and environmental conditions, the connected consumer may be activated earlier to reach the desired temperature more quickly. The room thermo­stat remembers how long it took on the previous day, and then starts the connected consumer earlier accordingly.
Example: The starting time of the consumer is programmed for 06:00 for every day of the week.
When the heating process has taken, e.g, 30 minutes to reach the desired temperature on Monday, the consumer is activated at 05:30 already on Tuesday.
If, however, the desired temperature was reached after heating for 25 minutes already in Tuesday, the consumer will only be acti­vated art 05:35 on Wednesday.
As you can see, the time for activating the consumer adjusts de­pending on the duration of the heating process on the previous day.
Proceed as follows:
1. After selecting this function H4 “OPTIMUM START” and con-
fi rming with “OK” (5), either “YES” or “NO” fl ashes.
2. Use the buttons “–” (3) and “+” (2) to select: “YES” = function “OPTIMUM START” on “NO” = function “OPTIMUM START” off
3. Confi rm the setting with “OK” (5). The room thermostat is then in the previous menu for selec-
tion of functions again. To leave the menu and return to the regular display, push the
button “MENU” (4), repeatedly if required.

e) Function H5 “RESET ALL”
This resets the room thermostat to factory settings.
All settings and programming are lost irrevocably.
Then proceed as described in the chapters above for programming.
Proceed as follows:
1. After selecting this function H5 “RESET ALL” and confi rming
with “OK” (5), either “YES” or “NO” fl ashes.
2. Use the buttons “–” (3) and “+” (2) to select: “YES” = Perform reset “NO” = Cancel
3. Confi rm the selection with “OK” (5). When selecting “YES”, all settings are reset to factory set-
tings. This takes a few seconds (all buttons of the touch
screen display are without function during this). The room thermostat is then in the previous menu for selec-
tion of functions again. To leave the menu and return to the regular display, push the

11. Other Functions
a) Activating/Deactivating Room Thermostat
If the room thermostat is to be deactivated temporarily, e.g. to interrupt a running programme for a few days, proceed as follows:
1. Keep the button “MENU” (4) pushed for 10 seconds for nor-
mal display of the room thermostat (time/temperature in the
display). “OFF” appears in the lower left of the display. The room thermostat is temporarily deactivated.
2. Keep the button “MENU” (4) pushed for 10 seconds to acti-
vate the room thermostat in the regular display (time/tem-
perature in the display). Then the display “OFF” at the lower left of the display disap-
pears. The room thermostat works again according to pro-
gramming.

b) Manual Temperature Preselection
You can skip the present programming at any time and manually set the desired temperature.
This function is available only if a programming is present
(see chapter 9. b). This is not the case at initial commissioning (or after re-
start). Therefore, manual temperature settings cannot be made at this time either.
1. The room thermostat must be in the regular display (time/
temperature in the display). Programming must be present at just described.
2. Set the desired manual temperature with the buttons –” (3)
or „+“ (2) (a hand icon appears). The temperature can be selected within the set temperature
limits (see chapter 9. h).
3. Confi rm the setting with “OK” (5). The room thermostat then is back in regular display.
4. The temperature can be changed at any time with the but-
tons “–” (3) and “+” (2) while the hand symbol is visible in the
display.
Manual operating mode is automatically terminated when the next switching point according to the programming is reached (e.g. on the next day).
You can also personally terminate manual operating mode by briefl y pushing the button “MENU” (4) or “OK” (5).
If manual mode was terminated, the hand icon disappears. The temperature control is taken over by the set programme again.

c) Manual Temperature Preselection for 1....24 Hours
Manual temperature preselection (see chapter 11. b) can apply for
a fi xed time of 1....24 hours. The present programming is not per-
formed during this time.
This function is available only if a programming is present
(see chapter 9. b). This is not the case at initial commissioning (or after
restart). Therefore, manual temperature preselection for a certain period of time cannot be made at this time either.
1. The room thermostat must be in the regular display (time/
temperature in the display). Programming must be present at just described.
2. Set the desired manual temperature with the buttons “–” (3)
or „+“ (2) (a hand icon appears). The temperature can be selected within the set temperature

(“1H”....”24H”) fl ash to the right of it.
4. Set the desired time (1....24 hours) with the buttons “–” (3)

justment.
5. Confi rm the setting with “OK” (5). The room thermostat then is back in regular display. You can also prematurely terminate manual temperature prese-
lection by briefl y pushing the button “MENU“ (4) or “OK” (5). If manual temperature preselection was terminated, the hand
icon disappears. The temperature control is taken over by the set programme again.

d) Manual Temperature Preselection for 1....99 Days
This function (also called holiday function) permits setting the temperature to a fi xed value for an extended period. The present programming is not performed during this time.
This function is available only if a programming is present
(see chapter 9. b). This is not the case at initial commissioning (or after re-
start). Therefore, manual temperature preselection for a certain period of time cannot be made at this time either.
1. The room thermostat must be in the regular display (time/
temperature in the display). Programming must be present at just described.
2. Set the desired manual temperature with the buttons “–” (3)
or „+“ (2) (a hand icon appears). The temperature can be selected within the set temperature
limits (see chapter 9. g).
3. Briefl y push the “MENU” button (4) briefl y twice. “HOLIDAY”
appears below the temperature display. The display shows “LOCK DAY” and the days fl ash tot he right
of it (“1d”....”99d”).
4. Set the desired time (1....99 days) with the buttons “–” (3) and
“+” (2). Keep the respective button pressed for quick adjust-
ment.
5. Confi rm the setting with “OK” (5). The room thermostat then is back in regular display. You can also prematurely terminate manual temperature prese-
lection by briefl y pushing the button “MENU” (4) or “OK” (5). If manual temperature preselection was terminated, the hand
icon disappears. The temperature control is taken over by the set programme again.

12. Troubleshooting
Consumer switches on/off too frequently
• Set a higher value in the menu “USER SETTINGS”, function G10
“SWING SETTING” (default setting is 0.5 °C).
Manual temperature preselection not possible
• First perform programming, see chapter 9. b).
Room temperature is too high or too low
• Set an offset value to adjust the control to the local situation
in the menu “USER SETTINGS”, function G9 “TEMP CALIBRATE” (default setting is 0.5 °C).
Alternatively, you can directly change the temperatures of the
present programming with the function G3 “PROGRAM SET­BACK”.
Adjustable temperature area too small
• Set the desired upper and lower temperature limit correctly in
the menu “USER SETTINGS”, function G8 “TEMP LIMITS”.
A lower temperature limit of +5.0 °C and an upper limit of
+45.0 °C is pre-set ex works.
The temperature range can be limited accordingly if required.

13. Maintenance and Cleaning
Servicing or repair must only be carried out by a specialist or specialist workshop. The product contains no parts that require servicing. Therefore, never open/disassemble it.
A dry, soft and clean cloth is suffi cient for cleaning the outside. Do not push the display or housing too strongly. This will lead to scratches.
Never use any aggressive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions, since these may damage the casing or even impair function.
14. Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be
disposed of in the household waste!
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product ac-
cording to the relevant statutory regulations.

2. Utilisation conforme
Le thermostat d’ambiance allume ou éteint un consommateur raccordé en fonction de la température. La température est me­surée par une sonde interne.
Une sonde de température externe supplémentaire peut être achetée séparément, parex. en vue de l’utilisation pour la com­mande en liaison avec un plancher chauffant.
La commande du thermostat d’ambiance s’effectue via un écran tactile.
Impérativement observer les consignes de sécurité ainsi que toutes les autres informations qui fi gurent dans le présent mode d’emploi.

En ce qui concerne l’installation, prévoir un disjoncteur
(parex. différentiel) sur tous les pôles pour la tension du secteur.
• Le produit est uniquement conçu pour un montage stationnaire.
• Le produit appartient à la classe de protection II.
• N’utilisez pas le produit dans des locaux et conditions ambiantes inappropriés, contenant ou susceptibles de contenir des gaz, des vapeurs ou des poussières infl ammables! Il y a danger d’explosion!

7. Montage et raccordement
Observez le chapitre «Consignes de sécurité»!
• Montez uniquement le thermostat d’ambiance sur un support stable, parex. sur une prise de courant encastrée dans le mur. Le thermostat d’ambiance est uniquement conçu pour un montage stationnaire.
• Le thermostat d’ambiance doit être protégé dans la boîte à fusibles du bâtiment par un fusible 10/ 16A. Un interrupteur différentiel (FI) doit être branché en amont.
• Le thermostat d’ambiance doit uniquement être installé lorsque l’alimentation électrique est hors tension.
Déconnectez toutes les bornes de la ligne d’alimentation élec-
trique en retirant le fusible du circuit électrique correspondant ou en déconnectant le coupe-circuit automatique puis en déconnectant l’interrupteur associé. Assurez-vous qu’elle ne puisse être rétablie de manière intempestive, installez par ex. un panneau d’avertissement.
• Contrôlez la mise hors tension de l’alimentation électrique à l’aide d’un appareil de mesure approprié.
• Dévissez légèrement les deux vis (10) de manière à pouvoir reti­rer l’unité de commande de la plaque de montage.
• La plaque de montage est munie de 10bornes à vis qui permettent de raccorder la ligne d’alimentation, le ou les consommateurs et une sonde de température externe (non fournie, à commander séparément).
À cet effet, observez le schéma des connexions en page sui-
vante.

Le thermostat d’ambiance convient aussi bien au rac­cordement d’un appareil de chauffage (radiateur élec­trique) que d’un climatiseur (ventilateur, climatisation). Vous devez alors impérativement sélectionner les bonnes bornes de connexion, voir plus haut.
Afi n que l’appareil soit correctement allumé ou éteint en fonction de la température, sélectionner le mode de fonctionnement souhaité (« HEAT » = mode de chauf­fage, «COOL» = mode de climatisation) «INSTALL SET­TINGS» via la fonction H1 «HEAT OR COOL» du menu de confi guration.

• Lors du raccordement, veillez à ne pas trop dénuder les câbles,
cela pourrait provoquer un court-circuit.
Comme décrit plus haut sur le schéma des connexions, im-
pérativement veiller à raccorder un appareil de chauffage aux bornes COM1 et NO1 et/ ou un climatiseur aux bornes COM2 et NO2.
Après la mise en service, sélectionner le mode de chauffage ou
de climatisation en fonction du type d’appareil raccordé.
Il est également possible de raccorder simultanément un ap-
pareil de chauffage et un climatiseur. Cela vous permet d’utili­ser le thermostat d’ambiance en mode de chauffage en hiver (un radiateur électrique est allumé ou éteint en fonction de la température) et de basculer en mode de climatisation en été (parex. un ventilateur est allumé ou éteint en fonction de la température).
L’exploitation simultanée d’un appareil de chauffage et
d’un climatiseur est uniquement possible en alternance selon le mode de fonctionnement («HEAT» = mode de chauffage, «COOL» = mode de climatisation) actuelle­ment sélectionné dans le menu de confi guration.
En mode de chauffage, le climatiseur ne fonctionne pas; en mode de climatisation, l’appareil de chauffage ne fonctionne pas.
• Si vous souhaitez raccorder un capteur de température externe
(non fourni, à acheter séparément), la polarité ne joue aucun rôle lors du raccordement.
• Posez les câbles en veillant à ne pas les écraser ni les endom-
mager sur des arêtes vives.
• Posez la plaque de montage parex. sur la prise de courant en-
castrée puis fi xez-la à l’aide de deux vis appropriées. Vous devez ici veiller à ce que les lames de contact (8) pointent vers le haut et les vis (10) vers le bas.
Contrôlez la fi xation correcte de la plaque de montage.

• Installez d’abord l’unité de commande sur la partie supérieure
dans la plaque de montage (avec un angle de 20° environ).
Enfoncez ensuite légèrement l’unité de commande vers le bas
puis basculez-la à plat sur la plaque de montage.
• Pour fi nir, fi xez l’unité de commande sur la plaque de montage
à l’aide des deux vis (10).
• Contrôlez la fi xation correcte de l’unité de commande sur la
plaque de montage.
• Établissez maintenant la tension du secteur.
• La température (parex. 22,0°C) et l’heure «0:00» s’affi chent
alors sur l’écran.
Si rien ne s’affi che, débranchez à nouveau immédiatement la
tension du secteur sur tous les pôles (dévisser le fusible ou déconnecter le coupe-circuit automatique, également éteindre le disjoncteur différentiel correspondant). Contrôlez ensuite le raccordement ou consultez un spécialiste.
• Si le thermostat d’ambiance est déconnecté de la tension du
secteur pendant une période prolongée (parex. en cas de panne de courant), vous devrez redéfi nir ou corriger la date et l’heure. Les autres programmations ne sont pas effacées.
En cas de coupure brève de la tension du secteur, la date et
l’heure sont conservées grâce à la fonction de prise en charge interne du thermostat d’ambiance au moyen d’un condensa­teur.

8. Programmation (notions de base)
a) Informations fondamentales à propos de la commande
• La touche «MENU» (4) permet d’ouvrir le menu de confi gura-
tion du thermostat d’ambiance, de ressortir d’une fonction (re­tourner au niveau précédent du menu) ou de rétablir l’affi chage normal.
• La touche «OK» (5) permet de valider.
• Les deux touches «–» (3) et «+» (2) permettent, en fonction du
niveau du menu, de sélectionner les fonctions ou de procéder à des réglages.
• La dernière ligne de l’écran contient des messages texte cor-
respondants, parex. la fonction actuelle du thermostat d’am­biance. Cela simplifi e considérablement la programmation.
• Si vous n’appuyez sur aucune touche pendant 15secondes, le
menu de confi guration se ferme automatiquement, sans enre- gistrer la dernière modifi cation.
b) Ouverture et fermeture du menu de confi guration
Appuyez brièvement sur la touche «MENU» (4). L’indication «USER SETTINGS» s’affi che dans la dernière ligne de l’écran.
Les touches «–» (3) et «+» (2) vous permettent de basculer entre «USER SETTINGS» et «INSTALL SETTINGS». Validez la sélection en appuyant sur la touche «OK» (5).
Comme décrit plus haut dans le chapitre8. a), une pression sur la touche «MENU» (4) permet de quitter une fonction (retourner au niveau précédent du menu) ou de complètement fermer le menu de confi guration (l’heure et la température mesurée s’affi chent alors à nouveau sur l’écran).
