• The product is de-energized only when the plug is unplugged.
• Do not put the product in a row.
• Use the product only in dry indoor areas.
• Do not use this product in hospitals or medical institutions. Although the transmitter in the radio remote control emits only relatively weak radio signals, these may lead to malfunction of life-support systems. The same may apply in other areas.
Ensure there is sufcient air circulation when you operate the product. Never cover the product.
• If the product shows signs of damage, do not touch it, there is a risk of death from an electric shock! First, switch off the mains voltage to the socket to which the product is connected (switch off at the corresponding circuit breaker or remove the safety fuse or switch off at the corresponding RCD protective switch, so that the socket is fully disconnected). Only then remove the product from the mains socket. Dispose of the damaged product in an environmentally friendly manner, stop using it. Replace it with an identical product.
• The mains socket that the device is plugged into must be easily accessible.

Operation
The power consumption of the connected electrical con-
sumer load must not exceed 2000 W. In the event of an overload, the internal thermal fuse of the wireless socket switch is triggered. The thermal fuse is not self-resetting. The wireless socket switch can then no longer be put into operation. For proper operation, the distance between two wireless socket switches should be at least 1 m.
• Plug the wireless socket switch into a household power socket. Make sure that the wireless socket switch is turned off. The combination switch (2) must not light up.
• Switch off the electrical consumer load that you want to operate via the wireless socket switch through its mains switch.
• Connect the mains plug of the electrical consumer load to the wireless socket switch.
• Switch the electrical consumer load on using its mains switch.
• Now switch the electrical consumer load on and off using the remote control.
You can use the combination switch (2) on the wireless socket switch to manually switch on/off the connected electrical consumer load.
a) Range
• The range of the radio signal transmission between the remote control
and wireless socket switch is up to 100 m in free eld.
This value, however, is the range when the transmitter and
receiver are visible to each other, without disrupting the power. In practice, however, there are walls, rooms, ceilings etc. between the transmitter and the receiver, which reduce the range accordingly.
Due to the different inuences on the radio transmission,
no specic range can be guaranteed. However, trouble-free
operation is usually possible in a single family house.
• The range can be reduced by:
- Walls and reinforced concrete ceilings
- Coated or vaporised insulating glass panes
- Proximity to metallic and conductive objects (e.g., radiators)
- Proximity to people
- Broadband interference, e.g. in residential areas (DECT phones, mobile phones, radio headsets, wireless speakers, wireless weather stations, baby monitoring systems, etc.)
- Proximity to electric motors, transformers, power-supply units and computers
- Proximity to poorly shielded or uncovered computers or other electrical appliances
