LED-Downlight „Prato“, 12 W

Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung

Die LED-Leuchte dient zur Beleuchtung im Innenbereich; sie darf nur in trockenen,
geschlossenen Innenräumen montiert und betrieben werden. Die Leuchte ist für die
Montage in einer abgehängten Raumdecke (z.B. in einem Deckenpaneel) o.ä. vorge­sehen.

Eine andere Verwendung als zuvor beschrieben, führt zur Beschädigung dieses Pro­duktes, darüber hinaus ist dies mit Gefahren, wie z.B. Kurzschluss, Brand, elektrischer
Schlag etc., verbunden. Das gesamte Produkt darf nicht geändert bzw. umgebaut
werden!

Die Sicherheitshinweise sind unbedingt zu befolgen!
Dieses Produkt erfüllt die gesetzlichen, nationalen und europäischen Anforderungen.

Das Ausrufezeichen weist Sie auf besondere Gefahren bei Handhabung,
Betrieb oder Bedienung hin.

Das „Pfeil“-Symbol steht für spezielle Tipps und Bedienhinweise.

• Die LED-Leuchte darf nur an einer Konstantstromquelle betrieben werden,
verwenden Sie ein geeignetes Vorschaltgerät (LED-Treiber). Beachten Sie
dazu die Angaben im Kapitel „Technische Daten“.

Der Betrieb an handelsüblichen Halogentransformatoren, Netzteilen o.ä. ist

nicht möglich, dadurch wird die LED-Leuchte zerstört, Verlust von Gewähr­leistung/Garantie!

• Das Produkt darf nur in trockenen, geschlossenen Innenräumen montiert
und betrieben werden. Das Produkt darf nicht feucht oder nass werden. Das
Produkt darf nur ortsfest betrieben werden.

• Verwenden Sie das Produkt nicht in Räumen oder bei widrigen Umgebungs­bedingungen, wo brennbare Gase, Dämpfe oder Stäube vorhanden sind
oder vorhanden sein können! Es besteht Explosionsgefahr!

• Achtung, LED-Licht:

Nicht in den LED-Lichtstrahl blicken!
Nicht direkt oder mit optischen Instrumenten betrachten!

• Wenn anzunehmen ist, dass ein gefahrloser Betrieb nicht mehr möglich ist,
so ist das Produkt außer Betrieb zu setzen und gegen unbeabsichtigten Be­trieb zu sichern.

Es ist anzunehmen, dass ein gefahrloser Betrieb nicht mehr möglich ist,

wenn:

- das Produkt sichtbare Beschädigungen aufweist

- das Produkt nicht oder nicht richtig arbeitet (fl ackerndes Licht, austreten-

der Qualm bzw. Brandgeruch, hörbare Knistergeräusche, Verfärbungen
am Produkt oder angrenzenden Flächen)

- nach längerer Lagerung unter ungünstigen Verhältnissen, oder

- nach schweren Transportbeanspruchungen

• Lassen Sie das Verpackungsmaterial nicht achtlos liegen, dieses könnte für
Kinder zu einem gefährlichen Spielzeug werden.

• In gewerblichen Einrichtungen sind die Unfallverhütungsvorschriften des
Verbandes der gewerblichen Berufsgenossenschaften für elektrische Anla­gen und Betriebsmittel zu beachten!

• Sollten Sie noch Fragen haben, die in dieser Bedienungsanleitung nicht be­antwortet werden, so wenden Sie sich bitte an uns oder an einen anderen
Fachmann.

Das Produkt ist ausschließlich zum Einsatz und der Verwendung in tro­ckenen Innenräumen geeignet, es darf nicht feucht oder nass werden.

Die LED-Leuchte darf bei Montage und Betrieb nicht in Isoliermaterial
eingebettet werden, da es hierbei zu einer Überhitzung der Leuchte
kommen kann. Außerdem besteht Brandgefahr!

Bei Schäden, die durch Nichtbeachten dieser Bedienungsanleitung ver­ursacht werden, erlischt die Gewährleistung/Garantie. Für Folgeschä­den übernehmen wir keine Haftung!

Bei Sach- oder Personenschäden, die durch unsachgemäße Handha­bung oder Nichtbeachten der Sicherheitshinweise verursacht werden,

Haben Sie keine Fachkenntnisse für die Montage, so nehmen Sie die
Montage nicht selbst vor, sondern beauftragen Sie einen Fachmann.

• Aus Sicherheits- und Zulassungsgründen (CE) ist das eigenmächtige Um­bauen und/oder Verändern des Produkts nicht zulässig.

• Das Produkt ist kein Spielzeug, es gehört nicht in Kinderhände! Montieren
Sie das Produkt so, dass es von Kindern nicht erreicht werden kann.

• Das Produkt ist in Schutzklasse III aufgebaut.

Vorbereitungen zur Montage

Beachten Sie:

• Montieren Sie die LED-Leuchte nur in einem stabilen Untergrund, z.B. in einer ab­gehängten Raumdecke (z.B. Deckenpaneel). Die Materialstärke am Einbauort muss
etwa 10 - 15 mm betragen.

Das Produkt ist ausschließlich zum Einsatz und der Verwendung in geschlos­senen trockenen Innenräumen geeignet, es darf nicht feucht oder nass
werden.

Montieren Sie die LED-Leuchte nicht in bzw. auf leicht entzündlichen/brenn­baren Oberfl ächen.

Halten Sie einen ausreichenden Abstand zwischen der Lichtaustrittsöffnung
der LED-Leuchte und bestrahlten Flächen ein, da es sonst auf der bestrahlten
Fläche zu Verfärbungen kommen könnte.

Die LED-Leuchte darf nicht in Isoliermaterial eingebettet werden, da es hierbei
zu einer Überhitzung der Leuchte kommen kann. Außerdem besteht Brandge­fahr! Wir empfehlen einen Mindestabstand von 10 cm.

• Die LED-Leuchte muss so montiert werden, dass sie außerhalb der Reichweite von
Kindern liegt.

• Die Installation und der Anschluss der LED-Leuchte darf nur im spannungsfreien Zu­stand vorgenommen werden.

Die LED-Leuchte darf nur an einer Konstantstromquelle betrieben werden,
verwenden Sie ein geeignetes Vorschaltgerät (LED-Treiber). Beachten Sie
dazu die Angaben im Kapitel „Technische Daten“.

Die LED-Leuchte darf nicht mit einem handelsüblichen Halogentransformator
verbunden werden, dabei wird die LED-Leuchte zerstört, Verlust von Gewähr­leistung/Garantie!

Montage und Anschluss

Technische Daten

Beachten Sie die Informationen im Kapitel „Vorbereitungen zur
Montage“!

• Überlegen Sie sich die Anordnung der LED-Leuchte z.B. in der Raumdecke. Wenn
mehr als eine LED-Leuchte montiert werden soll (etwa für die Beleuchtung eines
Eingangsbereichs o.ä.), so planen Sie den Montageort sehr sorgfältig.

• Markieren Sie die zur Montage erforderliche Öffnung (Durchmesser siehe „Techni­sche Daten“). Verwenden Sie beispielsweise eine Stichsäge, um die Öffnung auszu­sägen.

Unser Tipp:

Prüfen Sie bei Montage der LED-Leuchte in einem Deckenpaneel den richtigen
Lochdurchmesser sicherheitshalber an einem Reststück. Nichts ist ärgerlicher
als ein zu großes Loch in einem teuren und hochwertigen Deckenpaneel.

• Montieren Sie z.B. das Deckenpaneel und führen Sie die Anschlussleitung durch das
Bohrloch.

• Verbinden Sie die beiden Anschlusskabel der LED-Leuchte mit der Versorgungsspan­nung. Das rote Kabel muss mit dem Pluspol (+) verbunden werden, das schwarze
Kabel mit dem Minuspol (-). Verwenden Sie geeignete Anschlussklemmen bzw.
Stecker, so dass kein Kurzschluss entstehen kann.

Achtung!

Der Betrieb der LED-Leuchte ist nur an einer Konstantstromquelle möglich
(z.B. auch als LED-Treiber bezeichnet). Beachten Sie dazu die Angaben im
Kapitel „Technische Daten“.

Verwenden Sie niemals einen handelsüblichen Halogentransformator oder
ein herkömmliches Netzteil, dadurch wird die LED-Leuchte zerstört!

Fragen Sie im Zweifelsfall einen Fachmann!

• Setzen Sie die LED-Leuchte in das vorbereitete Montageloch ein.

Biegen Sie dazu die Haltebügel nach oben und stecken Sie diese z.B. durch das Loch

im Deckenpaneel.

Schieben Sie die LED-Leuchte so weit hinein, bis sie vollständig im Loch sitzt, die

Bügel schwenken dabei nach unten und fi xieren die LED-Leuchte in dem Montage-
loch.

Achten Sie darauf, dass die Anschlusskabel nicht eingequetscht werden.

• Schalten Sie die Stromversorgung für den LED-Treiber (Konstantstromquelle) ein
und überprüfen Sie die Funktion der LED-Leuchte.

Wenn die LEDs nicht aufl euchten, so schalten Sie die Stromversorgung sofort

wieder ab.

Überprüfen Sie danach den Anschluss der LED-Leuchte (richtige Polarität, rotes

Kabel der LED-Leuchte = Plus/+, schwarzes Kabel = Minus/-).

Der Betrieb der LED-Leuchte ist nur an einer Konstantstromquelle möglich.
Verwenden Sie niemals einen handelsüblichen Halogentransformator oder
ein herkömmliches Netzteil!

Wartung und Pfl ege

• Das Produkt ist für Sie wartungsfrei. Die LEDs sind sehr langlebig und können nicht
ausgewechselt werden.

• Vor einer Reinigung (z.B. Staub von der Lichtaustrittsöffnung entfernen) ist die LED­Leuchte auszuschalten bzw. von der Stromversorgung zu trennen. Lassen Sie die
LED-Leuchte anschließend ausreichend abkühlen.

• Äußerlich sollte die LED-Leuchte nur mit einem sauberen, weichen, trockenen Tuch
abgewischt werden. Verwenden Sie auf keinen Fall aggressive Reinigungsmittel
oder chemische Lösungen, da dadurch das Gehäuse angegriffen (Verfärbungen)
oder die Funktion beeinträchtigt werden könnte.

Drücken Sie nicht zu stark auf das Gehäuse, da andernfalls Kratzspuren möglich

sind.

Staub kann sehr leicht mit einem sauberen, weichen Pinsel und einem Staubsauger

entfernt werden.

Entsorgung

Entsorgen Sie das Produkt am Ende seiner Lebensdauer gemäß den

geltenden gesetzlichen Bestimmungen.

Intended use

The LED light is used for indoor lighting; it may be installed and operated only in dry,
closed interiors. The light is intended for installation in a false indoor ceiling (e.g. in a
ceiling panel) or the like.

Any use other than that described above may damage the product. Moreover, this may
give rise to hazards, such as short-circuiting, fi re, electric shock, etc. No part of the
product may be modifi ed or converted!

The safety instructions must be observed at all times!

• The LED light may be operated only by a constant current source; use a suit­able ballast (LED driver). Refer to chapter "Technical Data".

Operation with commercially available halogen transformers, power supply

units or the like is not possible, this destroys the LED light, loss of guaran­tee!

• This product is only to be installed and used in dry conditions indoors. The
product may not get damp or wet. Only use the product when it is fi rmly
mounted .

• Do not use this product in rooms or under adverse ambient conditions
where combustible gases, vapours or dust are or may be present! There is a
risk of explosion!

• Attention, LED light:

Do not look directly into the LED light!
Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments!

• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, dis­connect the product immediately and secure it against inadvertent opera­tion.

It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:

- the product shows visible signs of damage,

- the product does not work at all or works poorly (fl ickering light, leaking

smoke or a smell of burning, the light fl ickers, audible cracking noises,
discolouration to the product or the adjacent surfaces.)

- the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of

time or

- the device was exposed to extraordinary stress caused by transport.

• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around since it could be­come a dangerous plaything for children.

• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the em­ployer’s liability insurance association for electrical systems and operating
facilities are to be observed!

• If you have any questions that are not answered in this manual, please con­tact our technical service or another specialist.

The LED light corresponds to Protection class III.

The product is suitable only for installation and use in dry interiors; it
may not become moist or damp.

During installation and operation, the LED light may not be embedded
in insulating material, as this may cause overheating of the light. Oth­erwise, there is a danger of fi re!

Observe the operating instructions!

Safety Instructions

Please read through all of the instructions carefully before using the
product, they contain important information on its correct use.

The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to
observe these safety instructions. We do not assume any liability for any
consequential damage!

Nor do we assume liability for damage to property or personal injury
caused by improper use or failure to observe the safety instructions. The
warranty will be void in such cases!

If you do not have the expertise required for the installation, do not
install it yourself but entrust a qualifi ed electrician.

• The unauthorised conversion and/or modifi cation of the product is not
allowed for safety and approval reasons (CE).

• The product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children! Install
the product out of the reach of children.

• The product is designed according to protection class III.

Preparations for Installation

Please note:

• Install the LED light only in a stable base, e.g. in a false interior ceiling (e.g. ceiling pan­el). The material thickness at the installation position must be at approx. 10 - 15 mm.

The product is only intended to be installed and used in dry and enclosed
indoor rooms, it must not get damp or wet.

Do not install t he LED light in or on surfaces that are highly fl ammable or catch
fi re easily.

Keep suffi cient distance between the light-emitting opening of the LED light
and the exposed surfaces, otherwise this may result in discolouration of the
exposed surface.

The LED light may not be embedded in the insulating material, as this may
cause overheating of the light. Otherwise, there is a danger of fi re! We recom-
mend a minimum distance of 10 cm.

• The LED light must be installed such that it is out of the reach of children.

• Installation and connection of the LED light may be done only in the absence of any
voltage.

The LED light may be operated only with constant current source; use a suit­able ballast (LED driver). Refer to chapter "Technical Data".

The LED light may not be attached to a commercially availble halogen trans­former; this will destroy the LED light, loss of guarantee!

Installation and Connection

Technical Data

Pay attention to the information in the chapter "Preparation for
installation"!

• Think about the arrangement of the LED light e.g. in the room ceiling. Plan the instal­lation location carefully, if you want to install more than one LED light (lighting the
entrance area or the like, for instance).

• Mark the opening required for installation (for diameter, see "Technical Data"). Use a
keyhole saw, for instance, to cut out the hole.

Our tip:

While installing the LED light in a ceiling panel check the correct hole diameter
at an offcut for safety reasons. It is very frustrating to drill a hole bigger than
the one needed in an expensive and high quality ceiling panel.

• For instance, put the ceiling panel in place and guide the power line through the
borehole.

• Connect the two power cables of the LED light to the mains supply. The red cable
must be connected to the positive pole (+), the black cable to the negative pole (-).
Use suitable terminals or plugs, so as to prevent any short circuit.

Caution!

The LED light can be operated only with a constant current source (also called
LED driver). Refer to chapter "Technical Data" for relevant details.

Never use a commercially available halogen transformer or power supply unit,
this will destroy the LED light!

In case of doubt, consult a specialist.

• Insert the LED light in the prepared installation hole.

To this end, bend the retaining bracket upwards and plug it, for ex ample through the

hole in the ceiling panel.

Slide in the LED light until it is well-fi tted in the hole; in the process, the tilt the

brackets downwards and fi x the LED light in the installation hole.

Make sure the connection cables are not squeezed.

• Turn on the power supply to the LED driver (constant power supply) and check
whether the LED light is functioning properly.

If the LEDs do not light up, then turn off the power supply immediately.
Then, check the connection of the LED light (correct polarity, red cable of the LED

light = plus/+, black cable = minus/-).

The LED light can be operated only with a constant current source. Never use a
commercial halogen transformer or a conventional power supply unit!

Maintenance and Care

• The product does not require maintenance. The LEDs have a very long service life
and cannot be replaced.

• Prior to cleaning (e.g. to remove dust from the light-emitting opening), the LED light
should be turned off or the power supply disconnected. Then, allow the LED light to
cool down suffi ciently.

• The exterior of the LED light should only be wiped with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Do
not use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions that could damage the
housing (discolouring) or impair operation.

Do not press too hard on the housing, as scratches might appear.
Dust can easily be removed using a clean, soft brush and a vacuum cleaner.

Disposal

Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the

current statutory requirements.

• La lampe à LED doit être alimentée uniquement par une source de courant
constant de 350 mA. Utilisez un ballast approprié (pilote LED). Pour cela,
veuillez respecter les distances indiquées dans le chapitre « Caractéristiques
techniques ».

L'utilisation avec des transformateurs halogène usuels, des blocs d'alimen-

tation ou analogues n'est pas possible. Cela endommagerait la lampe à LED
et vous perdrez la garantie !

• Le produit est conçu uniquement pour une installation et un fonctionne­ment dans des locaux intérieurs, secs et fermés. Le produit ne doit être ni
humide, ni mouillé. Le produit ne doit fonctionner qu'en position station­naire.

• N'utilisez pas le produit dans des locaux et conditions ambiantes inappro­priés, contenant ou susceptibles de contenir des gaz, des vapeurs ou des
poussières infl ammables ! Vous courez alors un risque d'explosion!

• Attention ! Précautions à prendre avec les lampes à LED :

Ne regardez pas dans le faisceau de lumière LED !
Ne le regardez pas directement ou avec des instruments optiques !

• S'il s'avère qu'une utilisation sans danger n'est plus possible, l'appareil doit
être mis hors service et protégé contre toute utilisation involontaire.

Un fonctionnement sans risques n’est plus assuré lorsque :

- l'appareil présente des dommages visibles,

- l'appareil ne fonctionne plus ou pas correctement (lumière vacillante,

fumée épaisse ou odeur de brûlé, crépitements audibles, décolorations du
produit ou des surfaces adjacentes)

- l'appareil a été stocké pendant une période prolongée dans des conditions

défavorables, ou

- l'appareil a été soumis à des conditions défavorables durant le transport

• Ne laissez pas traîner le matériel d'emballage. Cela pourrait constituer un
jouet dangereux pour les enfants.

• Dans les installations industrielles, il convient d'observer les prescriptions de

Préparations pour le montage

Remarque importante :

• Installez la lampe à LED uniquement sur une surface stable, par ex. dans un plafond
suspendu ou un faux-plafond (panneaux de plafond par ex.) L'épaisseur du matériau
sur le lieu de montage doit être d'environ 10-15 mm.

L'appareil a été conçu pour être utilisé exclusivement dans des locaux secs à
l'intérieur. Il ne doit pas être mouillé ou humide.

Ne montez pas la lampe à LED sur des surfaces facilement infl ammables/
combustibles.

Veillez à une distance suffi sante entre l'ouverture de sortie de la lumière du
luminaire à LED et les surfaces éclairées ; autrement, cela pourrait provoquer
une décoloration des surfaces éclairées.

La lampe à LED ne doit pas être entourée de matériau isolant, car cela pourrait
provoquer une surchauffe du luminaire. En plus, il y a un risque d'incendie !
Nous recommandons une distance minimale de 10 cm.

• Montez la lampe à LED de façon qu'elle soit hors de portée des enfants.

• L'installation et le raccordement de la lampe à LED doivent être effectués unique­ment hors tension.

La lampe à LED doit être alimentée uniquement par une source de courant
constant de 350 mA. Utilisez un ballast approprié (pilote LED). Pour cela,
veuillez respecter les distances indiquées dans le chapitre « Caractéristiques
techniques ».

La lampe à LED ne doit pas être reliée à un transformateur halogène usuel.
Cela endommagerait la lampe à LED, et vous perdrez la garantie !

Montage et raccordement

Caractéristiques techniques

Tenez compte des informations dans le chapitre « Préparations pour le
montage » !

• Planifi ez bien la disposition de la lampe à LED, par ex. au plafond. S'il s'agit de mon-
ter plus d'un luminaire à LED (pour l'éclairage d'une entrée, ou analogue), il faut pla­nifi er le lieu de montage très minutieusement.

• Marquez le trou à percer pour le montage (pour le diamètre, voir « Caractéristiques
techniques »). Utilisez pas exemple une scie sauteuse pour effectuer l'ouverture.

Notre conseil :

Pour des raisons de sécurité, vérifi ez lors du montage de la lampe à LED dans
un panneau de plafond que le diamètre de perçage est correct sur une chute.
Il est très contrariant de percer un trou trop grand dans un panneau de pla­fond cher et de haute qualité.

• Montez, par exemple, le panneau de lambris et guidez le cordon d'alimentation à
travers le trou de perçage.

• Appliquez la tension d'alimentation aux deux câbles de raccordement de la lampe à
LED. Le câble rouge doit être relié au pôle positif (+) et le câble noir au pôle négatif
(-). Utilisez des bornes de raccordement ou des connecteurs appropriés afi n d'éviter
un court-circuit.

Attention !

La lampe à LED peut être alimentée uniquement par une source de courant
constant (par ex. comme celle délibrée par un pilote LED). Pour cela, veuillez
respecter les distances indiquées dans le chapitre « Caractéristiques tech­niques ».

N'utilisez jamais un transformateur halogène usuel ni un bloc d'alimentation
conventionnel. Cela endommagerait la lampe à LED !

En cas de doute, adressez-vous à un spécialiste !

• Insérez la lampe à LED dans le trou de montage préparé.

Rabattez les deux étriers vers le haut et passez-les par ex. dans le trou dans le pan-

neau du plafond.

Poussez la lampe à LED jusqu'à ce qu'elle se trouve complètement à l'intérieur du

trou. En faisant cela, les étriers se rabattent et fi xent la lampe à LED dans le trou de
montage.

Veillez à ne pas écraser les câbles de raccordement.

• Appliquez l'alimentation du pilote LED (source de courant constant) et vérifi ez le
fonctionnement de la lampe à LED.

Si les LED ne s'allument pas, coupez l'alimentation électrique.
Ensuite, vérifi ez absolument le raccordement du luminaire à LED (bonne polarité,

câble rouge du luminaire = positif/+, câble noir = négatif /-).

La lampe à LED peut être alimentée uniquement par une source de courant
constant. N'utilisez jamais un transformateur halogène ni un bloc d'alimen­tation conventionnel !

Maintenance et entretien

• Cet appareil ne demande aucun entretien. Les ampoules LED ont une durée de vie
très longue et elles ne peuvent pas être remplacées.

• Avant le nettoyage (par ex. pour enlever la poussière du trou de sortie de la lumière)
éteignez la lampe à LED ou coupez-la de l'alimentation électrique. Ensuite, laissez la
lampe à LED refroidir suffi samment.

• L'extérieur de la lampe à LED ne doit être nettoyé qu'avec un chiffon doux, sec et
propre. N'utilisez en aucun cas de détergent agressif ou de solution chimique, car ils
pourraient détériorer la surface du boîtier (décolorations) ou nuire au bon fonction­nement de l'appareil.

N'appuyez pas trop fort sur le boîtier car cela risquerait de rayer l'appareil.
Vous pouvez éliminer les poussières à l'aide d'un pinceau fl exible propre et d'un

aspirateur.

Elimination

Il convient de procéder à l'élimination du produit au terme de sa durée de

vie conformément aux prescriptions légales en vigueur.

Gebruiksaanwijzing

Beoogd gebruik

De LED-lamp dient ter verlichting binnenshuis; slechts in droge, gesloten binnenruim­tes monteren en gebruiken. De lamp is geschikt voor, onder andere, de montage in
een verlaagd plafond (bijv. in een plafondpaneel).

Elke andere toepassing dan hierboven beschreven, kan leiden tot beschadiging van
dit product. Voorts bestaat hierbij kans op bijvoorbeeld kortsluiting, brand of een elek­trische schok. Wijzig niets aan dit product en bouw het niet om!

Volg de veiligheidsaanwijzingen te allen tijde op!
Dit product voldoet aan de wettelijke, nationale en Europese eisen. Alle voorkomende

bedrijfsnamen en productaanduidingen zijn handelsmerken van de betreffende eige­naren. Alle rechten voorbehouden.

Verklaring van pictogrammen, opschriften

Het uitroeptekensymbool wijst op bijzondere gevaren bij de omgang, het
gebruik of de bediening.

Het „pijl“ symbool wijst op speciale tips en bedieningsvoorschriften.

• De LED-lamp mag alleen op een constante stroombron worden gebruikt,
gebruik een geschikt voorschakelapparaat (LED-sturing). Raadpleeg daar­toe de informatie in het hoofdstuk „Technische gegevens“.

Het i.c.m. in de handel gebruikelijke halogeentransformatoren, netvoeding-

adapters o.i.d. is niet mogelijk, daardoor wordt de LED-lamp onherstelbaar
beschadigd, waarborg-/garantieverlies!

• Het product is uitsluitend bedoeld voor montage en gebruik in gesloten,
droge ruimtes binnenshuis. Het product mag niet vochtig of nat worden.
Gebruik het product uitsluitend permanent gemonteerd.

• Gebruik het product niet in ruimtes of onder ongunstige omstandigheden
waarbij brandbare gassen, dampen of stoffen aanwezig zijn of aanwezig
zouden kunnen zijn! Explosiegevaar!

• Let op, LED-licht:

Kijk niet in de LED-lichtstraal!
Kijk niet direct of met optische instrumenten!

• Stel - als aannemelijk is dat ongevaarlijk gebruik niet langer mogelijk is - het
product buiten bedrijf en borg het tegen onbedoeld gebruik.

Ga ervan uit dat veilig gebruik niet langer mogelijk is, als:

- het product zichtbare beschadigingen vertoont

- het product niet of niet langer correct werkt (fl ikkerend licht, vrijkomende

rook respectievelijk brandlucht, hoorbare knisperingen, verkleuringen van
het product of aangrenzende vlakken)

- het apparaat gedurende langere tijd onder ongunstige omstandigheden

werd opgeslagen, of

- na zware transportbelastingen

• Laat het verpakkingsmateriaal niet rondslingeren, dit kan voor kinderen
gevaarlijk speelgoed zijn.

• In commerciële inrichtingen moeten de voorschriften ter voorkoming van
ongevallen van de brancheverenigingen voor elektrotechnische installaties
en bedrijfsmiddelen te worden nageleefd!

• Raadpleeg onze technische klantenservice of andere vakmensen als u nog
vragen hebt die niet in deze gebruiksaanwijzing worden beantwoord.

De LED-lamp voldoet aan de beschermklasse III.

Het product is uitsluitend geschikt voor toepassing en gebruik in
droge binnenruimten, het mag niet vochtig of nat worden.

De LED-lamp mag bij montage en gebruik niet in isolatiemateriaal
ingebed worden, omdat het hierbij tot oververhitting van de lamp kan
komen. Er bestaat bovendien brandgevaar!

Raadpleeg de gebruiksaanwijzing!

Veiligheidsaanwijzingen

Lees vóór het ingebruiknemen de volledige gebruiksaanwijzing door:
deze bevat belangrijke informatie en aanwijzingen.

Bij beschadigingen, veroorzaakt door het niet in acht nemen van deze
gebruiksaanwijzing, vervalt de waarborg/garantie. Voor gevolgschade
zijn wij niet aansprakelijk!

Wij zijn niet verantwoordelijk voor materiële schade of persoonlijk let­sel veroorzaakt door ondeskundig gebruik of door het niet opvolgen van
de veiligheidsaanwijzingen. In dergelijke gevallen vervalt de waarborg/
garantie!

Laat het monteren aan een vakman over als u zelf daarvoor niet over de
nodige vakkennis beschikt.

• Om redenen van veiligheid en toelating (CE) is het eigenmachtig ombouwen
en/of wijzigen van het apparaat niet toegestaan.

• Dit product is geen speelgoed, houd het buiten bereik van kinderen! Mon­teer het product zo dat het buiten bereik van kinderen is.

• Het product is gebouwd in beschermklasse III.

Voorbereidingen op het monteren

Let op:

• Monteer de LED-lamp alleen op een stabiele ondergrond, bijv. in een verlaagd pla­fond (bijv. plafondpaneel). De materiaaldikte op de inbouwplek moet ongeveer
10 - 15 mm bedragen.

Het product is uitsluitend geschikt voor montage en gebruik in gesloten
binnenruimten, het mag niet vochtig of nat worden.

Monteer de LED-lamp niet op gemakkelijk ontvlambare resp. brandbare
oppervlakken.

Houd voldoende afstand tussen de lichtopening van de LED-lamp en be­straalde vlaktes, omdat er anders verkleuring op de bestraalde vlakken kan
ontstaan.

De LED-lamp mag niet in isolatiemateriaal ingebed worden, omdat het hierbij
tot een oververhitting van de lamp kan komen. Er bestaat bovendien brandge­vaar! Wij raden een minimale afstand van 10 cm. aan.

• Monteer de LED-lamp zodanig, dat kinderen er niet bij kunnen komen.

• De installatie en de aansluiting van de LED-lamp mag alleen in spanningsvrije toe­stand worden uitgevoerd.

De LED-lamp mag alleen op een constante stroombron worden gebruikt,
gebruik een geschikt voorschakelapparaat (LED-sturing). Raadpleeg daartoe
de informatie in het hoofdstuk „Technische gegevens“.

De LED-lamp niet verbinden met een in de handel gebruikelijke halogeen­transformator, daarbij raakt de LED-lamp onherstelbaar beschadigd, waar­borg-/garantieverlies!

Monteren en aansluiten

Technische gegevens

Raadpleeg de informatie in het hoofdstuk „Voorbereidingen voor het
monteren“!

• Overleg waar u de LED-lamp, bijv. in het plafond, wilt aanbrengen. Indien meer dan
één LED-lamp gemonteerd dient te worden (bijv. voor de verlichting van een entree),
plan dan de montageplek uiterst zorgvuldig.

• Markeer de voor de montage noodzakelijk opening (zie „Technische gegevens“ voor
de diameter). Gebruik bijvoorbeeld een decoupeerzaag, om de opening te zagen.

Onze tip:

Controleer bij de montage van de LED-lamp in een plafondpaneel de juiste
boordiameter veiligheidshalve eerst bij een onderdeel dat u niet meer nodig
heeft. Er is niets zo vervelend als een te groot gat in een duur en hoogwaardig
plafondpaneel.

• Monteer het plafondpaneel en leid de aansluitleiding door het geboorde gat.

• Sluit de beide aansluitkabels van de LED-lamp aan op de voedingsspanning. De rode
kabel moet met de pluspool (+) en de zwarte kabel met de minpool (-) worden ver­bonden. Gebruik geschikte aansluitklemmen resp. stekkers, zodat er geen kortslui­ting kan ontstaan.

Let op!

De LED-lamp kan alleen worden gebruikt op een constante stroombron (bijv.
ook als LED-driver aangeduid). Raadpleeg daartoe de informatie in het hoofd­stuk „Technische gegevens“.

Gebruik nooit een in de handel gebruikelijke halogeentransformator of een
conventionele netvoedingadapter, dit beschadigt de LED-lamp onherstelbaar!

Vraag in geval van twijfel een vakman!

• Plaats de LED-lamp in het voorbereide montagegat.

Buig daarvoor de klembeugels naar boven en steek deze bijv. door het gat in het

plafondpaneel.

Schuif de LED-lamp er zo ver in, tot deze volledig in het gat zit, de beugels zwenken

daarbij naar onder en zetten de LED-lamp vast in het montagegat.

Let erop dat de aansluitkabels niet bekneld raken.

• Schakel de stroomvoorziening voor de LED-driver (constante stroombron) in en con­troleer de werking van de LED-lamp.

Als de LED's niet gaan branden, dient u de stroomtoevoer onmiddellijk weer uit te

schakelen.

Controleer aansluitend de aansluiting van de LED-lamp (juiste polariteit, rode kabel

van de LED-lamp = plus/+, zwarte kabel = min/-).

De bediening van de LED-lamp is alleen mogelijk aan een constante stroom­bron. Gebruik nooit een in de handel gebruikelijke halogeentransformator of
een conventionele netvoedingsadapter!

Service en onderhoud

• Voor u is het product onderhoudsvrij. De LED's hebben een zeer lange levensduur; u
kunt deze niet vervangen.

• Voor het reinigen (bijv. stof van de lichtuittreedopening verwijderen) dient de LED­lamp uitgeschakeld resp. van de stroomvoorziening losgekoppeld te worden. Laat
de LED-lamp vervolgens voldoende afkoelen.

• Veeg de buitenkant van de LED-lamp slechts met een schone, zachte, droge doek
schoon. Gebruik in geen geval agressieve schoonmaakmiddelen of chemische
oplossingen, omdat deze de behuizing kunnen aantasten (verkleuringen) of de
werking beïnvloeden.

Druk niet te hard op de behuizing, er kunnen krassen ontstaan.
Stof kunt u heel gemakkelijk wegnemen met behulp van een schone, zachte kwast

en een stofzuiger.

Afvoer

Verwijder het product na afl oop van de levensduur volgens de geldende

wettelijke bepalingen.
