SWP-CA102 Multifunction Process Calibrator provides a feature set unmatched in high accuracy,
handheld calibrators with high quality and lower price. It is designed for measuring and sourcing Thermal
Couple, RTDs, Current, Voltage and Frequency. It is widely used in laboratory and industrial process for
sensor, transmitter, indicators, instruments and control system calibration or repairing.
1 General Features
Hand held size is convenient for field use.
Provide measurement and source output T.Cs, RTDs, Ohms, current, voltage, and frequency.
Monitor current & voltage with % display.
ITS-90 standard query value is available.
T.C Measure and source cold-junctions compensation in auto and manual modes.
Battery continually usage life is about 5-7 hours per charging.
Key-sound and backlight saving modes are selectable.

The screen for ―Source‖ and ―Measure‖ of 1~5V or 4-20mA, % is the correspondence range. When data is
beyond the range, % will not display.
In the ―Source‖, the function button ―Fun‖ will switch to the option as the following sequence: DC Voltage – DC
mA – DC mV – Resistor – TC – Frequency – back to DC V.
In the ―Measure‖, the function button ―Fun‖ will switch to the option as the following sequence: DC Voltage – DC
mA – DC mV – Resistor (RTD) – TC – Frequency – back to DC V.
To set the parameter, either modify by at current bits digit or key in the number directly.
Output ―Source‖ resistance or ―Measure‖ resistance, the screen is shown as above. In the measuring, there are
some types to select. Measure – Range, it will switch to the follow the sequence: (Cu50—>Pt100—>Cu50).
For TC measuring, cold-junction compensation will tally the ITS-90 standard.
Auto: is using the internal temperature measurement value as cold-junction compensation;
Man: is manually setting cold-junction compensation value and refer to 3.4.1 table.
The TC type measuring sequence will follow: S—>K—>E—>T—>J—>B—>R—>N—>W325—>S
Find the relationship of mV of TC output and resistance of RTD Vs temperature.
Press ESC, go to multi-function calibrator ―query‖ mode:
Select anyone then press ENT:
Key in the temperature reading, the result will be shown as below:
Press ESC it will back to main screen.
3.6 Backgrounds and sound key option:
Press both and key, the screen can be selected in background light mode or energy saving mode.
Press both and key, the screen can be selected in sound mode or silent mode.
3.7 Charging
The battery have to be charged when it flat (Calibrator cannot turn on or LCD flicker)
Green LED lights up while the NiMH battery pack is charged.
Please ensure the function option and polarity of measuring and source output.
It is necessary to on hold the instrument at least 5 minutes to stable the device if the compensation mode is
set to AUTO and the instrument has moved to a new temperature environment.
For T.C signal output, the setting temperature must ≥ cold-junctions compensation value.
Recommend to use energy saving backgrounds for longer time battery usage.
