Remove the mount plate(s) for trail riding where extra ground clearance is needed

Assembly Instructions Note. Right and Left direction are from the operator position. The lower skid plate, If so equipped, may need

to be removed. Please retain plate and hardware to be reinstalled if the plate is removed..

1. Remove the U bolts from plate and place them on the frame side rails just ahead and behind the footrest mount.

2. Place the mount plate up against the frame and align the holes with the U Bolts, Install the washers and nuts and snug into position

3. Slide the plate rearward until the U bolt makes contact with the footrest..

4. Align the plate and tighten hardware
