Your R/C Cyber Ray can dive up to 8 feet below the surface
of the water and has full directional steering functions. It
has a range of approximately 50 feet. The controller is water
resistant up to 3 feet deep. This allows you to swim along
and control your RC Cyber Ray from below the surface of the
water. It has an underwater range of approximately 6 feet.
No assembly is required before first time use.
Battery installation is required.

HOW TO INSTALL / CHANGE BATTERIES
RC CYBER RAY CONTROLLER
1.To open, use phillips screwdriver to
loosen the 3 screws on the battery
compartment cover and lift the cover to
remove it.
2.Put one 9V alkaline battery in the
compartment. Make sure that (+) and (-)
poles are positioned
properly.
3.Replace the battery cover and secure it
with screws.
Note: When the controller’s range
decreases, replace its battery.
RC CYBER RAY
1. To open, use Phillips screwdriver and
loosen screws on plastic covering. Once
loosened, lift the plastic cover to remove it.
2. Take out the battery compartment box
from the battery compartment.
3. Place 4-AA alkaline batteries or 6.0V
rechargeable battery into the battery box.
4. Depending on which battery source you
are using: plug either the AA battery box
connector or the 6.0V rechargeable battery
connector into the R/C Cyber Ray
connector.
5. Make sure battery and connector are
secure in the battery compartment.
1. Insert charger plug into side of the
rechargeable battery.
2. Plug in the power supply into the
115V-120V wallm socket.
3. New NiMH battery pack is not
charged before shipping. Charge for 12
hours before 1st use. 4 hours, thereafter.
Note: Any batteries purchased for use in
this toy may pose a hazard to children.
Please check safety notice supplied
with batteries before use. Make sure the
battery is completely dry before
recharging.
Warning: Dispose of batteries promptly
and properly; do not bury or burn them.
Controller uses:
1-9V alkaline battery (not included)
RC Cyber Ray uses: 4-AA alkaline batteries (not included) or
rechargeable NiMH battery (not included)
Cautions:
• Batteries to be installed by adults only.
• Use only fresh batteries of the required size
and recommended type.
• Do not mix old and new batteries, different
types of batteries (standard, alkaline, or
rechargeable), or rechargeable batteries of
different capacities.
• After each use, remove all batteries from
the product, and drain any water that has
accumulated inside. Moisture allowed to
remain inside the product will damage the
electronic components
and batteries. Store the product with the
battery compartment door open to allow it
to dry completely.
• Change batteries in dry area.
6. Replace battery compartment cover
and secure with screws.
WARNING:
Item can travel into deep water. Always keep
children in sight within quick and easy reach when
they are in the water. Do not allow children to play
where water is too deep for their swimming ability.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1.After the RC Cyber Ray is fully charged or new batteries are installed in both the RC Cyber Ray and the controller, activate the RC Cyber
Ray by pressing the button located on the bottom next to the battery box. (the light will turn on to indicate it is in the “on” position).
2.Activate controller by pressing the button located in the middle (light will turn on)
3.Gently place RC Cyber Ray in the water and begin to operate.
4.Push left and right levers on top of the controller to propel the RC Cyber Ray forward and backward.
5.These levers control the propellers in the back of the RC Cyber Ray. Each propeller operates independent of the other and can move
forward and reverse.
6.Push the levers on the bottom of the controller back and forth to tilt the propeller up and down. This allows the RC Cyber Ray to dive up
and down, twist, turn do full loops and barrel rolls through the water.
a.To barrel roll, put one propeller up and one propeller down and have propellers moving forward. Lower the RC Cyber Ray below the
surface of the water. The RC Cyber will barrel roll as it propels through the water.
b.To do full loops, tilt the props in the same directions, either both up or down, with the propellers in the forward motion and have the
RC Cyber Ray dive. It will complete a full loop.
HELPFUL HINTS
• Fragile! Handle with care. Do not drop! Do not drop in water.
• Do not pick up RC Cyber Ray by the tail or propellers.
• Do not leave on the floor to avoid stepping or falling on the RC Cyber Ray accidentally.
• After use, open battery compartment and wipe the batteries dry and the inside of the battery box (for both the RC Cyber Ray and the
Controller). If water is found in the first use, try lubricating the rubber seals using petroleum jelly or equivalent.
• After each use, wash off RC Cyber Ray and the Controller with faucet water and then drain all the water on the inside by tilting it in
different directions. Do not shake to get rid of water.
• Before recharging your battery, make sure the rechargeable battery is completely dry.
• This product is designed for swimming pools only. Do not use the RC Cyber Ray in strong currents or in any body of water with large
waves.
• Never touch or put your fingers near the propellers while they are spinning.
• Always turn on the Controller first, then the RC Cyber Ray.
