Installation equipment cabinet for smoke funct. TBLZ-1-48-1 GOLD/COMPACT
1. General
Equipment cubicle for smoke function consists of a control unit installed in a box with transparent cover. There are necessary terminals for external connection. The equipment cubicle is equipped with knockout grommets.
2. Range of Application
The equipment cubicle is used together with smoke detectors TBLZ-2-49-a. In the event of an error indication the unit is designed to control dampers and stop the unit and give an alarm. Connected damper actuators must be suitable for a 230 V supply.
3. Function control unit smoke
The control unit is designed to meet the requirements set to provide reliable fire protection together with our smoke detectors. Equipped with relay contactors for controlling dampers and fans. Besides smoke alarms, the control unit is equipped with a service alarm and error alarm relays.
In the event of a smoke alarm, a red LED lights and the alarm relays trip at the same time.
In the event of a service alarm on the smoke detector, the LED for the service alarm flashes quickly for 1 minute. Then the service alarm relay is active and the LED lights continuously. If the service alarm on the detector resets, the relay trips and the LED starts to flash slowly: Alarm memory.
Short-circuits and open-circuits cause fault relays and alarm relays to activate at the same time as the respective LED lights (open-circuit, approx. 10 seconds delay). If a short-circuit or open-circuit recurs, the relays trip and the respective LED starts to flash slowly: Alarm memory.
Exercising the relays: keep the reset button depressed for 5 seconds.
4. Installation
Use the four screws to mount the equipment cabinet on the wall, unit or similar.

Function: In the event that the smoke detector B7 in the duct trips, the alarm is forwarded to GOLD/COMPACT, external fire alarm. Damper actuator MG7 is controlled via control unit B6. When the smoke detectors become dirty, a service alarm is initiated in control unit B6 and is forwarded to GOLD/COMPACT via the external alarm 2. Alarms can be reset on control unit B6 and in the air handling unit’s hand-held micro terminal.
