1. General
Swegon CASA Sensor package is a combination sensor
comprising:
• humidity sensor (SRH)
• humidity and carbon dioxide sensor (SRHCO2)
• humidity sensor and VOC sensor (SRHVOC).
The sensor package can be installed in all swegon CASA
Smart ventilation units with software version 2.2 or
more recent. The software version can be checked on
(Main menu/Information/Device version) on the Smart
control panel.
2. Installation
All sensor combinations of the Sensor package are encapsulated in the same way. If the ventilation unit does
not have a pre-installed Sensor package-sensor/sensor
complete you can install a new Sensor package instead
of the old one.
Units that completely lack a Sensor package-sensor
are equipped with a connection cable as shown in the
figure. Prior to installation, loosen the connection cable’s
fastening clip from the unit and then secure the Sensor
package using the same hole.
Sensor placement in different ventilation units is shown
on the following pages.
1. Allgemeines
Die Swegon CASA-Fühlereinheit ist ein
Kombinationsfühler, der Folgendes umfasst:
• Feuchtigkeitsfühler (SRH)
• Feuchtigkeits- und Kohlendioxidfühler (SRHCO2)
• Feuchtigkeits- und VOC-Fühler (SRHVOC).
Die Fühlereinheit kann in alle Swegon CASA Smart
Lüftungsgeräten mit Softwareversion ab 2.2 installiert
werden. Die Softwareversion lässt sich über Hauptmenü/
Information/Geräteversion an der Smart-Bedieneinheit
ablesen.
2. Installation
Alle Fühlerkombinationen der Fühlereinheit besitzen
dasselbe Gehäuse. Wenn das Lüftungsgerät keine vorinstallierte Fühlereinheit bzw. Komplettfühler besitzt, lässt
sich stattdessen eine neue Fühlereinheit installieren.
Geräte komplett ohne Fühlereinheit verfügen
über ein Anschlusskabel (siehe Abbildung unten).
Vor der Installation wird der Befestigungsclip des
Anschlusskabels vom Gerät gelöst und anschließend die
Fühlereinheit in derselben Öffnung angebracht.
Auf den folgenden Seiten wird die Fühlerposition in
verschiedenen Lüftungsgeräten dargestellt.

In ventilation units Swegon CASA W3 and W4 Smart
the installation position for the Sensor package is
behind the bypass damper for summer in the extract
air chamber. Placement in shown in the cross-section
view below. The bypass damper must be set to “winter” mode during installation. The heat exchanger and
extract air filter must be removed from the unit before
performing the installation.

liegt die Montageposition für die Fühlereinheit hinter der
Sommer-Bypassklappe in der Abluftkammer. Die Position
geht aus dem Querschnitt unten hervor. Bei der Montage
muss sich die Bypassklappe in der Winterstellung befinden
(siehe Installations-, Inbetriebnahme- und Wartungsanleitung
für W3/W4). Vor der Installation müssen Wärmetauscher und
Abluftfilter aus dem Gerät entnommen werden.

Abluftfilter aus dem Gerät entnommen werden.
In den Lüftungsgeräten vom Typ Swegon CASA W9
Smart liegt die Montageposition für die Fühlereinheit
unter dem Abluftfilter in der Abluftkammer. Die Position
geht aus der Abbildung rechts unten hervor.

Smart ventilation unit is shown in the following picture.
In right-hand version there is pre-drilled hole (A) for the
Sensor package. In Left-hand version one post heater
installation screw must be removed and Sensor package
should be installed using that hole (B). (A)

air filter in the extract air chamber. Placement is shown in
the figure below. The extract air filter must be removed
from the unit prior to performing the installation.

Smart Lüftungsgerät wird in der Abbildung unten gezeigt. Am Gerät in Rechtsausführung befindet sich ein
vorgebohrtes Loch (A) für das Fühlerpaket. Am Gerät
in Linksausführung muss eine Befestigungsschraube für
die Nachheizung entfernt werden und das Fühlerpaket
dann am Schraubloch (B) montiert werden.
Im Lüftungsgerät Swegon CASA R3 Smart liegt die
Montageposition für die Fühlereinheit unter dem
Abluftfilter in der Abluftkammer. Die Position geht aus
der Abbildung unten hervor. Vor der Installation muss
der Abluftfilter aus dem Gerät entnommen werden.

Installation of Sensor package in the unit
Loosen the clip securing the sensor cable in the ventilation unit. Now connect the cable to connector (1) on
the sensor’s circuit card. Press the circuit card into position on the base plate (2) in the Sensor package. Press
on the cover section (3) on the base plate and screw
the (4) Sensor package in the hole in the unit, from
where you loosened the cable earlier.

Installation der Fühlereinheit im Gerät
Lösen Sie die Befestigung für das Fühlerkabel im Gerät.
Verbinden Sie das Kabel dann mit dem Steckverbinder (1)
an der Fühlerplatine. Drücken Sie die Platine an ihrer
Position in der Grundplatte (2) der Fühlereinheit ein.
Drücken Sie das Verschlussteil (3) an der Grundplatte ein
und verschrauben Sie (4) die Fühlereinheit in der Öffnung
im Gerät, von der das Kabel zuvor entfernt wurde.

3. Commissioning
Commissioning is done with the Smart control panel.
When the Sensor package is installed the ventilation
unit will identify the sensors automatically. The functions
corresponding to the installed sensors will be visible in
the menu Smart functions on a Smart control panel. The
functions required are selected from the menu Smart
functions and are set according to the ventilation unit’s
user guide.
W3, W4, W5, W9, R3 and R5 ventilation
units are available as left-hand and righthand model. Location of the Sensor package is presented in right-hand model units
in this instruction. Position in the left-hand
units is the same but on the opposite side
of the unit. Left-hand unit is the mirror
image of the right-hand unit.
3. Inbetriebnahme
Die Inbetriebnahme erfolgt über das
Smart-Bedieneinheit.
Nach der Installation der Fühlereinheit erkennt das
Lüftungsgerät die verfügbaren Fühler automatisch. Die
Funktionen für die installierten Fühler werden im Menü
Smart-Funktionen an einer Smart-Bedieneinheit angezeigt. Die gewünschten Funktionen werden über das
Menü Smart-Funktionen ausgewählt und gemäß der
Bedienungsanleitung für das Lüftungsgerät eingestellt.
W3, W4, W5, W9, R3 und R5 Lüftungsgeräte
sind als Links- oder Rechtsausführung
erhältlich. Auf den Abbildungen in
der Anleitung wird die Position der
Fühlereinheit in Rechtsausführungen dargestellt. Linksausführungen weisen eine
entsprechende Position auf – allerdings
auf der gegenüberliegenden Geräteseite.
Linksausführungen sind spiegelverkehrt zu
Rechtsausführungen angeordnet.
