SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
LIPO BATTERY INFORMATION
The Mosca is equipped with a Lithium Polymer battery. These kind of batteries are light and powerful, as their chemistry is based on lithium, a light and extremely volatile metal.
Never completely exhaust the battery. When the drone starts to lose power, land it safely, turn it off and charge the battery as soon as practicable.
Never charge battery unattended.
Charge battery in an isolated, controlled environment. Keep far away from flammable materials.
Do not expose to direct sunlight; there is a risk that the battery may overheat, ignite and/or explode.
Do not disassemble, modify, heat, or short circuit the battery.
Do not drop the battery or subject it to strong impacts.
Do not allow the battery to get wet.
Only charge the battery with the supplied charging equipment. Using other charging equipment will void your warranty, may damage the battery and poses a risk of fire or explosion.
When not in use for an extended period of time, the battery will automatically lose some capacity.
In the unlikely event of leakage or explosion, use sand or a chemical fire extinguisher to extinguish the batteries.
The battery must be disposed of responsibly.
BATTERY SAFETY INFORMATION
Controller requires 4 x 1.5V A A alkaline batteries (not included).
Installing/Replacing batteries must be undertaken by a competent adult.
Do not mix new and old batteries or types of batteries (i.e. alkaline/standard).
Promptly remove exhausted batteries. Battery leakage and corrosion can damage the controller.
Dispose of used batteries responsibly.

HELP
Question
My Mosca cannot perform 360° flips.
Answer
Most likely there is not enough battery power for the Mosca to do a flip; tr y recharging to full or swapping another fully charged battery (we've included a spare). If you’re still having problems, try restarting your Mosca.
Check propellers for any signs of damage. Bent or broken propellers should be replaced promptly with the spare propellers (remove the prop nut on top first) included in your package.
Question
My Mosca is drifting in a certain direction.
Answer
Adjust the trim to compensate for the drifting. Repeatedly push the appropriate trim button opposite to the direction the Mosca is drifting towards until the drifting stops. For example, if the Mosca is drifting forward, push the Forward/Backward Trim button down, and vice-versa. If the Mosca is drifting to the left, push the Sideway Trim button to the right, and vice-versa. If the Mosca is spinning counter-clockwise, push the Yaw Tr im button to the right, and vice-versa.
Calibrate the Mosca. First, place the Mosca on a level ground, and then hold both Left and Right sticks to the lower right corner for about 3 seconds. The Mosca's lights will blink rapidly for 3 seconds before turning solid to indicate the calibration process is complete. You can also calibrate the Mosca using the app under App Control Mode—tap the Auto Calibrate button.
Question
The in-app controls and buttons are not working. I don't see any image from the
camera unit.
Answer
Check that your smartphone is connected to the Wi-Fi network belonging to the Mosca's camera unit.
Check the quality of the Wi-Fi signal on your smartphone. The Mosca may be out of range. Move closer to the Mosca.
Close the app, remove it (or force close) from the background tasks, and re-launch the app.
Question
My Mosca disconnects and automatically lands after taking off.
Answer
Most likely the Mosca's low-voltage battery safety mechanism has been activated— the Mosca's lights will blink slowly; try recharging to full or swapping another fully charged battery (we've included a spare). If you’re still having problems, try restarting the Mosca.
If you receive an incoming call on your smartphone, the Mosca will automatically
14
land itself.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I clean and maintain my Mosca?
Regularly inspect and clean any dirt trapped around the propellers using a soft brush. Accumulation of dirt puts additional stress on the motor and may cause the propeller to spin unevenly or even stop spinning completely.
Wipe clean with a slightly damp cloth.
Do not submerge in water. This will damage the electronic components.
How long can my Mosca fly for?
You should be able to fly the Mosca for at least 10 minutes based on typical conditions before another battery recharge is needed. We have included an extra battery in the package, so you can enjoy double the playing time.
How do I copy the photos and videos taken with the Mosca's HD camera unit to my computer?
Make sure the Mosca is off. Eject the microSD card from the camera unit, then insert it into the included USB card reader. Plug the USB card reader into the USB port on your computer. Playing videos directly from the memory card may cause the videos to be slow or jerky. It is best to copy or transfer files to your computer before trying to watch them.
Captured photos and videos are also saved to the internal memory of your smartphone. Check your smartphone's album or gallery to view them.
Do I need to register my Mosca?
Registration is not mandatory in the United States as the Mosca does not weigh more than 0.55 lbs. For more general information on the registration of Unmanned Aircraft Systems, please visit: www.faa.gov/uas/registration/faqs
For other parts of the world, please check with your country’s civil aviation authority regarding the operation of the Mosca in your local airspace. Here are some useful links:
