If mounting to a wooden surface, screw the mounting plate direct ly to the surface. If mount ing to a masonry surfa ce (bricks, concrete), inse rt wall plugs before screwing the wall plate to the surface.

Fit the video doorbel l onto the mounting tabs on the wall p late then slide it down.

Once attached to the wall plate, insert the provided security tool into the small hole at the bottom of the video doorbell and rotate clockwise to tighten the internal security screw (do not overtighten). To detach for charging, loosen the security screw by rotating anti-clockwise, then lift up the video doorbell.

Before using the Smart V ideo Doo rbell for the firs t time, ch arge it f or at lea st two hours w ith the i ncluded U SB cable.
1 Plug the smaller end of the USB cabl e into the micro US B port o n the back of
the Sma rt Vide o Doorbe ll, and th e larger end into a USB wall charger s uch as your sm artphone charger (DC5V 2.1A po wer outpu t recomme nded for faster chargin g).
2 The ligh t ring on the front of the Sm art Vid eo Doorb ell will t urn solid blue
while c harging.
3 When the Smart V ideo Doo rbell is fully cha rged, th e light ri ng will tu rn off.
A full c harge ca n take up to four ho urs if ch arging fr om a low b attery s tate.
