Please read this instruction manual carefully before using for the first time and always keep these instructions
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR DOMESTIC ELECTRIC OVEN APPLICATIONS:
This electric Oven is suitable for common domestic uses. It can bake breakfast (bread, cake and steam bread), as well as dishes(roast meat, spareribs, fish, sandwich and peanut, etc) with perfection in color, smell and taste. It is necessary for every modern family because of its wide and practical uses.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:
1. Never use the oven when it is damaged in any way.
2. The rear surface of appliance shall be placed against a wall, and always place it in a dry environment.
3. Stand the appliance on a table or flat surface, ensure that the appliance is placed on firm level surface and close to the electrical outlet. Kept away from any flammables and explosives during use.
4. When using the oven for the first time, place the oven on max setting for 3 minutes. Do not put anything into the oven during this period. The oven may generate smoke at this time. It is normal, the smoke (smell) will clear off safely within a few minutes of use.
5. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs or appliance in water or any other liquids. When cleaning inside the oven, mopping with cloth can be applied. Never wash it with water. It may cause current leakage when electric parts are wet.
6. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
7. Always ensure that you have disconnected the plug from the outlet on the wall before proceeding to clean the oven or after using every time.
8. Make sure that the electrical cable does not come into contact with the heated parts of the oven.
9. The user must not leave when the oven is used. Do not allow children to use or close to the oven.
10. The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is in operation. Do not touch hot surfaces. Please use handles or knobs.
11. The use of attachments that are not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injury.
12. Do not use appliance for anything else except its original use. Do not use outdoors.
13. Do not sprinkle water on the glass window while it is still very hot. This could cause the glass to crack.
14. Do not use the appliance together with a clock timer or a separate telecontrol system.
15. No liability will be held for any damage caused by noncompliance with these instructions for any improper use or mishandling.
DIRECTION FOR USES: a. WITH POWER SELECTOR & TIMER
1. The oven has 3 heating functions:
Upper heater Both heaters Lower heater Off
2. Make ready the food you want to cook, then put into the oven.

3. Connect the power. Select the cooking style first and set the timer switch clockwise to
desired time according to the baking requirement. The oven will turn off automatically at the end of the selected time.
4. The selector switch controls power-on and power-off of the upper and lower heaters. When
the selector is used, set the selector Switch to " " position to allow the upper heater on; or set the selector switch to " " position to allow the lower heater on. If the selector is set to " " position, both heaters will heat up. If set the selector switch toOposition, then the power will turn off.
b.COOKING TIPS Before putting food in the oven, oil the tray. If the food is oily such as chicken etc, use two
pieces aluminum foils, put one piece on the tray and use another one to cover the food, it will avoid oil splashing during operation.
c.MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING After using, always set all switch to O position, remove the plug from power socket.
Make sure the appliance has cooled down to room temperature, wipe the oven surface and interior with a damp cloth or a sponge. DO NOT IMMERSE THIS APPLIANCE.
Warranty / terms and conditions:
WARRANTY: Swan Appliances warrants this product is of good quality, in good working order and free of any defects in material and workmanship and will be useable and durable for a period of 24 (twenty four) months from the date of purchase and complies with any applicable standards set under the Standards Act 1993 (Act No 29 of 1993).
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE WARRANTY:
1. This warranty is only to be used by the original purchaser of the product and cannot be ceded, assigned, transferred or handed to any other person.
2. Swan Appliances’ in its sole discretion can either repair or replace the defective appliance.
3. Should the defective appliance be situated further than 50 km from the nearest Swan Service Centre or authorized dealer, then Swan Appliances shall be entitled to charge the consumer a travelling charge for any distance further than 50km.
4. The appliances has been designed and manufactured for normal domestic use only and the warranty will not be valid if it was not used for domestic purposes only.
LIMITATION OF WARRANTY:
1. Swan Appliances has no liability or responsibility in respect of any second hand goods;
2. Swan Appliances has no liability to any subsequent purchasers ;
3. Swan Appliances has no liability if the appliance is defective due to any damage, loss due to the gross negligence of the consumer or due to the faulty installation, accidental damages, incorrect usage, misuse or abuse or failure to follow the operational instruction by the Consumer;
4. Swan Appliances has no liability of the appliance is damaged or destroyed as a result of any Acts of God;
5. Swan Appliances has no liability and this warrant is not valid if the appliance is dismantled or any repairs was done to the appliance or any other parts were inserted;
6. Swan Appliances has no liability if the serial number of the appliances has been removed;
7. Swan Appliances has no liability and will not be responsible to replace any light bulbs, fuses, glass plates or bowls, remote controls, bags, burners or any other item which Swan Appliance in its sole discretion determines that the life of such item depends on the amount of use and care taken in respect of such item;
8. Swan Appliances has no liability of any nature and will also not be responsible for any costs, should no fault have been found regarding the appliance.
