Please note: This guarantee does not apply where the product has been damaged, either

deliberately or by accident, misused, altered or tampered with by any unauthorised person.

This appliance is for domestic use only.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using your toaster, basic safety precautions should always be followed:

• Read all the instructions carefully, and keep them in a safe place.

• Do not touch hot surfaces, use handles or knobs. Chrome surfaces become extremely hot.

• To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or toaster in water or

any other liquid. See instructions for cleaning.

• To avoid possible accidental injury, close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used
by or near children.

• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before cleaning or
handling.

• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance has
malfunctioned or has been dropped or damaged in any way or is not operating properly.
Return appliance to authorised service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.

• Do not use any unauthorised attachments. This will void the warranty and may cause fire,
electric shock or injury.

• Do not use outdoors.

• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.

• Do not place toaster on or near a hot gas or electric burner or a heated oven..

• To disconnect, grasp plug and remove from outlet. Never unplug by pulling the cord.

• Do not use toaster for other than intended use.

• Metal foil packages or utensils must not be inserted in the toaster as they may involve a risk

of fire or electric shock.

• Do not operate toaster near flammable materials such as curtains, wall fabric, etc. , to
prevent fire.

• Do not attempt to dislodge food when the toaster is plugged into electrical outlet.

• To avoid possibility of fire, do not leave toaster unattended during use.

• Clean out accumulated crumbs frequently to avoid risk of fire or toaster malfunction. Do not

use foods that will drip coatings or fillings when heated. Such accumulations inside the
toaster create unsanitary conditions and the possibility of fire or toaster malfunction. Unplug
when not in use and before cleaning.
