2 Year Guarantee
This product is guaranteed for two years from the date of original purchase. If any defect arises due to faulty materials or workmanship, faulty products must be returned to place of purchase. Refunds or replacement is at the discretion of the store.
The following conditions apply:
1. The product must be returned to the retailer with original proof of purchase.
2. The product must be installed and used in accordance with the instruction contained in this instruction guide.
3. It must be used only for domestic purpose.
4. It does not cover wear and tear, damage, misuse or consumable parts.
5. Swan has no responsibility for incidental or consequential loss or damage.

Important Safeguards
When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the
following:
1. Read all instructions carefully before using any appliance.
2. Always ensure that the voltage on the rating label corresponds to the mains voltage in your home.
3.
An authorised service representative should perform any other servicing.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
4. Do let the appliance rest at least 2 minutes before use again.
5. Never misuse this chopper. Care is needed when handling cutting blades, especially when removing the blade from the bowl, emptying the bowl (B) and during cleaning.
6. Always keep the appliance out of the reach of children
7. Check that the voltage of the appliance corresponds to the voltage marked on your mains supply meter.
8. Always unplug the appliance after use and before washing.
9. Wait until the blade has completely stopped before removing the lid.
10. Handle the blade (C) with care as it is extremely sharp.
11.
Do not immerse the motor unit (A) in water nor place it under running water.
12. Never try to dismantle the appliance yourself.
13. If the mains lead or the plug is damaged, do not use your appliance.

14. If the supply cord is damaged, the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person must replace it

U.K. Plug Wiring Instructions
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:

FIRST USE
Plug cord into a 230 Volt AC outlet.
Using the Mini Chopper Chopping

Place the blade (C) onto the axis (F) in the bowl (B) and place the ingredients to be chopped in the bowl.

Fit the lid (D) on to the bowl (B) by turning it until it locks

into place.

Place the motor unit (A) on to the bowl/lid set by turning gently to push the blade axis into the motor unit axis.

Plug in the appliance.

Press the control switch (E) and keep it pressed in, the Mini Chopper will start to work.

Release the button (E) and wait for the blade to stop.

Remove the motor unit (A) by pressing the button (G) and unlocking the lid (D) by turning in the opposite direction to when it was assembled. Remove the blade(C) carefully.
Blending
-
Place the blade in the bowl as shown for chopping.

Pour the liquid to be blended into the bowl.

Do not fill above the 0.6 liters mark indicated.
How to Make An Excellent, Thick Mayonnaise
Ingredient:
-
1 egg yolk
-
1 tbs. Mustard
-
2 tbs. Water
-
1 tbs vinegar
-
100ml oil
-
salt and pepper.
It is important to have all the ingredients at room temperature before making the mayonnaise.
1. Place 2 tbs. Oil and all the other ingredients into the bowl.
2. Mix it gently by pressing the button a few times.
3. Add the rest of the oil.
4. Run the Mini Chopper for a further 30 seconds.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Always unplug the appliance.
The motor unit (A) must only be wiped with a damp cloth. Never place it in a dishwasher, immerse it in water or place it under running water.
The bowl (B), the blade (C), the lid (D) can be washed under running water or in the dishwasher.
After use the Chopper can be stored by wrapping the mains lead (I) around the motor unit.
