ASSEMBLING DEMONSTRATION
Screw the sha into the base.
Screw the washer all the way onto the sha.
Screw the microphone mount onto the sha by three or four turns until is centered over the base of the stand.
Tighten the micro­phone mount by rotating the washer conterclockwise until secured.
Inse the SVIVE HYDRA MICROPHONE PRO’s mounting threads into the microphone mount.
Make sure the logo on the front of the SVIVE HYDRA MICROPHONE PRO is facing you when stand is tilted upward. (For optimal sound recording).
FUNCTION SWITCHES
LED indicator
Power on = blue Muted = red
Headphone Volume control Microphone mute
Rotating le to right = volume min to max
Press the control knob = mute microphone
Monitor/ Music Select
Monitor = real time monitoring when speaking Music = headphones output
Plug your headphones directly to the SVIVE HYDRA MICROPHONE PRO. Monitor your recording without the latency that oen occurs when monitoring through the computer’s headphone jack. To monitor through your SVIVE HYDRA MICROPHONE PRO, plug you headphone into the back­side of the microphone.
* Note: When swiching to music mode, you can listen either the
music playing or the playback of your recording.

CONNECTING TO COMPUTER
Windows
Use the included USB cable to connect the
SVIVE HYDRA MICROPHONE to your comput­er. Once the SVIVE HYDRA MICROPHONE is plugged in, the power LED on the front of the microphone will turn blue.
Your computer will automatically detect the
SVIVE HYDRA MICROPHONE, but it may not set it as default sound device. If so, go to the
Control Panel and then double-click on the Sounds and Audio Devices icon.
Click on the Audio tab in the drop-down menu
under sound playback, select USB PnP Sound Devices as the default device.
In the drop-down menu under Sound recording,
select USB PnP Sound Devices as the default device.
Click OK to save your changes and exit.
CONNECTING TO COMPUTER
Macintosh OS X
Use the included USB cable to connect the
SVIVE HYDRA MICROPHONE to your comput­er. Once the SVIVE HYDRA MICROPHONE is plugged in, the power LED on the front of the microphone will turn blue.
Your Mac will automatically detect the SVIVE
HYDRA MICROPHONE, but it may not set it as default sound device. To set the SVIVE HYDRA MICROPHONE as the default, go to System preferences and select Sound.
Click on Input tab and then click on USB PnP
Sound Device to select it as the default input device.
Click on the Output tab and then click on USB
PnP Sound Device to select it as the default sound output device.
From the Sound window, you can; adjust the
computer’s input and output volumes, adjust the stereo balance, and select to show the volume in menu bar.
* SVIVE HYDRA MICROPHONE can be used on Microso
Windows (all versions) & Mac OS 9 or above.
