SureShade Installation
Manual Tele-Frame System (MTF) Radar Arch-Mount Application
1) Mark the position of the mounting clamps (Figs 1 – 5)
2) Secure the mounting clamps in place (Figs 1 – 5)
3) Secure the actuators in place (Figs 1 – 5)
4) Secure stanchions to set shade width and prevent side movement (Fig 6)
5) Secure the mid crossbar in place (Fig 7)
6) Secure the roller assembly in place (Fig 8-13)
7) Secure the outer crossbar in place (Fig 14-16)
8) IMPORTANT MAINTENANCE WARNING
NOTE: THE ACTUATOR AND LATERAL STANCHION TUBING IS NOT CUT TO LENGTH. THEY WILL
HAVE TO BE CUT TO LENGTH BY THE INSTALLER.
Position and secure mounting clamps and actuators into place
Using the wooden spacer, line up the two (2) mounting clamps on the underside of the arch to determine the position of
both actuators (Fig 1) and mark the position of the mounting plates and mounting hole locations on the underside of the
radar arch. We recommend using a piece of rubber between the mounting plate and the fiberglass (NOT SUPPLIED BY
SURESHADE).

Position one end of the actuator into the mounting clamp and have someone support the other end of the actuator until
you have determined the mounting location and the length of the actuator stanchion to make the actuator level (Fig
3).
Double check the second mounting plate location (Fig 4). Drill and mount second mounting plate to the radar arch.
Position one end of the second actuator into the mounting clamp and have someone support the other end of the
actuator until you have determined the mounting location and the length of the actuator stanchion to make the
second actuator level (Fig 5).
Determine the mounting and
length of the actuator
stanchion to make the actuator
level
Check position of second mount, then drill and
mount to the radar arch.
