Product Safety Instructions
1. Read and underst and all ins tructions.
2. Follow all warnings and in str uctions includ ing those
marked on the produc t.
3. Changes or modifications to this product not
express ivel y appr oved by the man ufacturer will void
the warran ty and the F CC authoriz ation t o operate
the equipment. Use only manu facturer provided
accessories.
4. Do not use the teleph one near water . Never spill
liquid of any kind on this produ c t.
5. Unplug the produc t f r om the wall t elephone jack and
power outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid or
aerosol cleaners. Us e damp clot h for cl eaning.
6. Do not place this pr oduct on an unstable c ar t, stand
or table. Th e pr oduct m ay fall and cause personal
injury or damage to the product or other property.
Pl ac e the base s tation and the char ger on hard, flat
surfaces.
7. Power Outage:
In t he event of a power outage, y our handset
ch ar ger will not rech arg e the handset bat tery, and
the base station will not all ow y ou to mak e an
outgoing call or take an incoming call. Both the
ch ar ger and the base station require el ec tricity for
oper ation. Y ou s hould have a telephone that does
not require el ec tric ity avail able for us e dur ing power
outage, or have a tem porary bac k up power s upply.
8. Sl ots or op enings in the produ c t’s hous ing ar e
pr ovid ed for ven tilat ion. These openings must not
be blocked or covered. Placin g the product on a
bed, carp eting, or ot her similar surface may block
these openings an d s hould be avoid ed. Th is
pr oduct sh ould never be placed near or over a

rad iator or h eat regis ter, or in a built-in installation
unless proper ventilation is provided.
9. Never push objects of any kind into this product
through housing sl ots/openings as they may
damage the product, touch dangerous voltage
points or short out parts that could result in fire,
elec tric shock, or injury.
10. This produc t should be operated only from the type
of power source indicated on the marking label. If
you are not sure of the type of power supply to your
home, consult your dealer or local power company.
11. Do not overload wall power outlets and extension
cords as this may result in fire or electric shock.
12. To avoid electric shock or bur n, do not dis as s em ble
this product. Send this product to an a uthorized
servic e c enter when s er vice or r epair w or k is
req uired . Call Customer S er vice for locations near
you. Opening or removing covers may expose you
to dangerous volt ages, elec trical cu r r ents or other
risks. Incorrect reassembl ing of the product may
cau s e electr ic s hock when the product is
subsequently us e d.
13. Avoid using the produ c t during a s torm. There m ay
be a r is k of electric shock from ligh tning.
14. Do not place the produ ct where person s can step,
trip, or fall on the product.
15. Do not place conductive ob jects over or near the
antenna.
16. Do not use the pr oduct to report a gas leak while in
the vicinity of the l eak .
17. Do not install the base s tation or the hand s et
ch ar ger near mic r owave ovens, radios, TV sets ,
sp eak er s , or other elec trical eq uipmen t. These
applianc es m ay c ause inter ferenc e to the p r oduct or
experience interferenc e from the produ ct.

18. Unplug th e bas e s tation or the char ger ad aptor from
the wall power outlet and ref er s er vicing t o an
authoriz ed service center under the foll owing
conditions:
a. If l iquid had been sp illed into the product.
b. When the p ower s upply cord or plug is dam aged
or fr ay ed.
c. If the produ c t has been exp os ed to rain or water .
d. If the produ c t does not operate normall y by
following the op er ating instructions.
e. If the pr o duct has been dro pped o r ho us ing has
been dama ge d.
f. If the produ c t shows a d is tinct change in
performance.
19.Th is equipment is a transmit ter that pr oduces RF
ener gy. The limits on human exposure to r adio
emission are set by FCC, this equipment compl ies
with those limits. The use of any ac c es s or ies that
have not been appr oved is a viol ation of FCC rules.
20.Th e base is a mobile device and 20cm separation
distanc e m ust be main tained between the end user
and the ant enna.
