Bei der Benutzung elektrischer Geräte sind grundlegende Sicherheitshinweise zu beachten. Um die Gefahr von Verbrennungen, Stromschlägen, Bränden, und/oder Personenschäden zu vermeiden, lesen Sie bitte vor der Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes diese Bedienungsanweisung aufmerksam durch und beachten Sie beim Gebrauch des Gerätes alle Hinweise. Bewahren Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung für den weiteren Gebrauch sorgfältig auf. Bei Weitergabe des Gerätes an Dritte, geben Sie bitte auch diese Bedienungsanleitung mit.

• Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Steckdose an. Verwenden Sie keine Tischsteckdosenleiste oder Verlängerungskabel.

• Die auf dem Typenschild des Gerätes angegebene Spannung muss mit der Spannung Ihres Stromnetzes übereinstimmen.

• Achten Sie beim Verlegen des Netzkabels darauf, dass es beim Betrieb des Gerätes nicht zu einer Stolperfalle werden kann.

• Halten Sie das Netzkabel fern von heißen Flächen, offenen Flammen, sowie von scharfen Kanten.

• Berühren Sie das Gerät, die Basisstation, das Netzkabel und den Netzstecker niemals mit feuchten oder nassen Händen.

• Beachten Sie die Füllmarkierungen (Min. / Max.) des Gerätes. Bei einer zu geringen Wassermenge kann das Gerät überhitzt werden. Bei einer zu hohen Wassermenge kann das kochende Wasser herausspritzen.

• Das Gerät darf nicht ohne Inhalt betrieben werden. Achten Sie darauf, dass das Gerät nicht überhitzt wird.

• Lassen Sie das Gerät während des Gebrauchs nicht unbeaufsichtigt.

• Während des Betriebes werden das Gerät und der Deckel stark erhitzt. Berühren Sie das Gerät nur an den Griffen. Verbrennungsgefahr!

• Achten Sie darauf, dass der Deckel während des Kochvorganges und des Ausgießens stets fest verschlossen ist. Verbrennungsgefahr.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass die Ausgießöffnung des Gerätes nicht auf Personen oder Gegenstände zeigt, da während des Kochens durch die Öffnung heißer Dampf austritt.

• Ziehen Sie vor der Reinigung immer den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose und lassen Sie das Gerät vollständig abkühlen.

• Kinder erkennen nicht die Gefahren, die beim Umgang mit Elektrogeräten entstehen können. Halten Sie Kinder vom Gerät fern. Seien Sie beim Gebrauch des Gerätes bitte besonders aufmerksam, wenn Kinder in der Nähe sind!

• Halten Sie Verpackungsmaterialien wie Plastikbeutel und Styroporteile außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern. Erstickungsgefahr!

• Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn es Beschädigungen aufweist, wenn es heruntergefallen ist oder nicht einwandfrei funktioniert.

• Prüfen Sie das Gerät, das Netzkabel sowie den Netzstecker regelmäßig auf sichtbare Beschädigungen. Verwenden Sie das Gerät auf keinen Fall, wenn Sie Beschädigungen festgestellt haben. Versuchen Sie nicht das Gerät selbst zu reparieren.

• Reparaturen dürfen nur durch qualifiziertes Fachpersonal durchgeführt werden.

• Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur auf hitzebeständigen Oberflächen. Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Wärmequellen oder offenem Feuer auf.

• Verwenden Sie das Gerät ausschließlich zum Kochen von Wasser. Gebrauchen Sie das Gerät nicht um andere Flüssigkeiten (wie z.B. Milch) zu erhitzen oder um Speisen im Wasserbad darin zu erwärmen/ kochen.

• Das Gerät ist nur für den Gebrauch in Privathaushalten und nicht für den gewerblichen Einsatz geeignet.

GERÄTEÜBERSICHT

Wichtiger Hinweis:

Wir empfehlen, den Gerätebehälter vor dem Erstgebrauch gemäß der nachfolgend beschriebenen Handhabung, durch ein einmaliges Aufkochen und Weggießen des Wassers zu reinigen. Auf diese Weise werden möglicher Staub oder Rückstände vom Herstellungsprozess entfernt.

• Stellen Sie die Basisstation auf eine stabile, ebene und wärmebeständige Standfläche. Achten sie darauf, dass das Gerät nicht verrutschen oder kippen kann.

• Öffnen Sie den Deckel des Gerätes durch ein Hochziehen des Deckelgriffes.

• Befüllen Sie den Behälter mit klarem Wasser. Die Wassermenge muss sich zwischen den Füllmarkierungen (Min. / Max.) des Gerätes bewegen. Bei einer zu geringen Wassermenge kann das Gerät überhitzt werden. Bei einer zu hohen Wassermenge kann das kochende Wasser herausspritzen.

• Befüllen Sie den Behälter für jeden Kochvorgang mit frischem Wasser. Schütten Sie im Behälter verbliebenes, erkaltetes und abgestandenes Wasser weg.

• Schließen Sie nachfolgend den Deckel wieder, da das Gerät nur bei geschlossenem Deckel automatisch abschaltet, wenn das Wasser kocht.

• Stellen Sie das Gerät auf die Basisstation und schließen Sie den Netzstecker an das Stromnetz an.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass die Ausgießöffnung des Gerätes nicht auf Personen oder Gegenstände zeigt, da während des Kochens durch die Öffnung heißer Dampf austritt.

• Stellen Sie den Geräteschalter auf "1", die Kontrollleuchte zeigt an, dass das Gerät eingeschaltet ist. Das Wasser wird nun erhitzt.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass der Deckel während des Kochvorganges stets fest verschlossen ist. Verbrennungsgefahr.

• Nachdem das Wasser gekocht hat, schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch aus. Der Schalter springt auf "0". zurück und die Funktionslampe erlischt.

• Warten Sie nach dem Erhitzen des Wassers einem Moment, bis das Wasser nicht mehr sprudelt. Öffnen Sie während des Kochens und Ausgießens nicht den Deckel.

• Durch ein Hochheben des Gerätes von der Basisstation wird der Erhitzungsvorgang sofort unterbrochen/beendet. Das Gerät schaltet ab.

• Der Wasserkocher ist mit einem Überhitzungsschutz ausgestattet, der den Betrieb unterbricht, wenn das Gerät aus Versehen ohne Wasser eingeschaltet wird. In diesem Fall muss das Gerät mindestens 15 Minuten abkühlen, bevor Wasser eingefüllt wird und das Gerät erneut in Betrieb genommen wird.

• Ziehen Sie bei Nichtgebrauch des Gerätes den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.

Achtung:

Ziehen Sie vor der Reinigung immer den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose und lassen Sie das Gerät vollständig abkühlen.

REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE

• Das Gerät, die Basisstation, das Netzkabel und der Netzstecker dürfen zur Reinigung nicht in Wasser getaucht werden.

• Die Basisstation, das Netzkabel und den Netzstecker dürfen nur mit einem trockenen Tuch gereinigt werden.

• Die Außenseite des Gerätebehälters kann mit einem angefeuchteten Tuch abgewischt und nachfolgend sorgfältig abgetrocknet werden.

• Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung keine aggressiven Reinigungsmittel, Stahlbürsten, Scheuersand oder sonstige harten Gegenstände, welche die Oberflächen verkratzen könnten.

Das Gerät muss in regelmäßigen Abständen entkalkt werden. Die Abstände sind abhängig vom Härtegrad des verwendeten Wassers und der Nutzungshäufigkeit. Um die Betriebssicherheit des Gerätes zu gewährleisten, müssen insbesondere sichtbare Verkalkungen unverzüglich entfernt werden. Verwenden Sie zum Entkalken eine Mischung aus Essig (keine Essenz) mit Wasser, in einem Mischverhältnis von 1:3.

• Befüllen Sie das Gerät bis zur maximalen Füllhöhe mit der Essiglösung und belassen Sie diese für ca. 1 Stunde im Behälter.

• Kochen Sie nachfolgend die Essiglösung in dem Gerät auf und gießen Sie diese danach aus.

• Befüllen Sie nachfolgend den Wasserkocher bis zur maximalen Füllhöhe mit klarem Wasser, kochen Sie dieses auf und gießen Sie es anschließend weg.

• Elektroaltgeräte gehören nicht in den Hausmüll. Der Gesetzgeber schreibt vor, dass Altgeräte bei den öffentlichen Sammelstellen der Gemeinden oder über die Sperrmüllsammlung entsorgt werden müssen.

• Nur so ist sichergestellt, dass Altgeräte fachgerecht entsorgt und verwertet werden.

SERVICE / GARANTIE

Die Garantiezeit beträgt 3 Jahre und beginnt mit dem Kaufdatum. Für den Nachweis des Kaufdatums bitte unbedingt den Kaufbeleg aufbewahren.

Die Garantie gilt für Geräte, die innerhalb Deutschlands gekauft wurden. Sie deckt Defekte und Fehlfunktionen, die innerhalb der Garantiezeit bei normaler Nutzung auftreten und auf Material- oder Verarbeitungsfehler zurückzuführen sind.

Im Garantiefall entstehen Ihnen für die Durchführung der Reparatur keine Kosten.

Die Garantie erlischt bei Beschädigung, Veränderungen oder zweckwidriger Verwendung des Geräts, sofern diese außerhalb des Verantwortungsbereichs des Garantiegebers liegen. Das gilt insbesondere in folgenden Fällen:

• Eingriff in das Gerät durch nicht autorisierte Personen.

• Veränderungen an oder innerhalb des Gerätes, Entfernung oder Unkenntlichmachung der Seriennummer, Entfernung oder Veränderung des Gerätesiegels.

• bei Schäden die auf Stöße, Stürze oder äußerer Einwirkung zurückzuführen sind.

• Bei Schäden die auf eine unsachgemäße Handhabung oder einen Fehlgebrauch zurückzuführen sind.

• Bei Schäden durch externe Ursachen, wie z.B. Überspannung, Blitzschlag.

• Gewerbliche Nutzung des Gerätes

Ihre gesetzlichen Rechte im Falle eines Mangels des Gerätes (Nachlieferung, Rücktritt, Minderung, Schadensersatz, jeweils gemäß § 437 BGB) werden durch diese Garantie nicht eingeschränkt.

Bitte bewahren Sie die Originalverpackung für eine mögliche Reparaturrücksendung auf. Reparierte oder ausgetauschte Komponenten unterliegen generell der restlichen Garantielaufzeit des Gerätes.

Basic safety instructions must be observed when using electric appliances. In order to avoid the danger of burns, electrical shocks, fire and/or personal injury, please read this instruction manually thoroughly prior to using the appliance and follow all instructions while using this appliance. Carefully store this instruction manual for later use. In the case that this appliance is given to another person, please include this instruction manual as well.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Only plug this appliance into a standardly installed outlet. Do not use a power strip or extension cable.

• The voltage given on the label of the appliance must match the voltage of your electrical grid.

• When positioning the electrical cable, make sure that it doesn’t present a trip hazard during use of the appliance.

• Keep the electrical cable away from hot surfaces, open flames and sharp edges.

• Never touch the appliance, base station, electrical cable or the plugs with damp or wet hands.

• Never immerse the appliance, electrical cable or plug in water or other liquids. There is a serious risk of electrocution!

• When you pull on the plug, always pull on the plug and never on the cable.

• Do not use the appliance outside.

• Only use the appliance with the accompanying base station.

• Be aware of the fill markings (min./max.) on the appliance. The appliance can overheat is there not enough water. Boiling water can spray out is there is too much water.

• Make sure that the lid is always firmly closed while boiling and pouring. There is a serious danger of burns!

• Make sure that the spout of the appliance is not pointed at persons or objects, as hot steam comes out of the opening while boiling.

• Always unplug the appliance and let it completely cool down before cleaning the appliance.

• Children do not recognize the danger that can result from using electrical appliances. Keep children away from appliances. Please be especially careful when using appliances if children are present!

• Keep packaging material like plastic bags and styrofoam pieces out of the reach of children. There is a serious risk of suffocation!

• Do not use the appliance if it shows signs of damage, if it has fallen or if it is not properly functioning.

• Regularly inspect the appliance, the electrical cord and the plug for visible damage. Do not use the appliance in any event if you have detected damages. Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself.

• Repair work may only be conducted by qualified professionals.

• Only use the appliance on heat resistant surfaces. Do not place the appliance in the vicinity of heat sources or open flame.

• Only use the appliance to boil water. Do not use the appliance to heat other liquids (e.g. milk) or to heat/cook dishes in broth.

• This appliance is only appropriate for use in private households and not for commercial usage.

Important Note:

We recommend cleaning the container prior to the first use as per the following process by a one-time boiling and pouring out of water. Possible dust or remnants from the manufacturing process will be removed in this manner.

• Place the base station on a stable, flat and heat resistant surface. Ensure that the appliance cannot slide or tip over.

• Open the lid of the appliance by pulling on the lid handle.

• Fill the container with clean water. The water level must be between the appliance’s fill markings (min./max.). The appliance can overheat if there is too little water. Boiling water can spray out if there is too much water.

• Fill the container with fresh water for each use. Pour left over, cold and old water out of the container.

• Close the lid afterwards, as the appliance will only automatically turn off when the water boils if the lid is closed.

• Place the appliance on the base station and connect the electrical plug to the power supply.

• Make sure that the spout of the appliance is not pointed at persons or objects, as hot steam comes out of the opening while boiling.

• Set the appliance’s control switch to “1“ and the indicator lights while show that the appliance is turned on. The water will now begin to boil.

• Make sure that the lid is always firmly closed while boiling. There is a serious danger of burns!

USING THE APPLIANCE / CLEANING AND CARE / DECALCIFICATION

• After the water has boiled, the appliance will automatically turn off. The switch will revert to “0“ and the indicator lights will turn off.

• Wait a moment after the water has boiled until it stops bubbling. Do not open the lid while boiling or pouring.

• The heating process will be immediately interrupted/ended if the appliance is removed from the base station. The appliance will turn off.

• This electric kettle is equipped with an over-heating protection device while will interrupt use if the appliance is accidentally turned on without water. If this occurs, the appliance must cool down for at least 15 minutes before it can be filled with water and used again.

• Remove the electrical plug from the outlet when the appliance is not in use.

Warning!

Always remove the electrical plug from the outlet and let the appliance completely cool down before cleaning.

CLEANING AND CARE

• The appliance, the base station, the electrical cord and the plug may not be immersed in water during cleaning.

• The base station, the electrical cord and the plug may only be cleaned with a dry cloth.

• The exterior of the container can be wiped with a damp cloth and carefully dried afterwards.

• Do not use any harsh cleaning products, alcohol, scouring powder, scouring pads, wire brushes or any other hard objects to clean the appliance which could damage the surface.

DECALCIFICATION

The appliance must be decalcified at regular intervals. The intervals are dependent upon the hardness of the water used and the frequency of the appliance’s usage. In order to guarantee the safe operation of the appliance, obvious calcification must be immediately removed. Use a mixture of vinegar (no essence) and water in a ration of 1:3 for decalcification.

• Fill the appliance up to the maximum fill level with the vinegar solution and leave it in the container for one hour.

• After this, boil the vinegar solution in the appliance and then pour it out.

• Then fill the electric kettle with clean water up to the maximum fill level, boil it and then pour it out.

• Electrical appliances do not belong in the household trash. Legislation stipulates that old appliances must be disposed of via the community’s public collection centers or collections of bulk refuse.

• This is the only manner in which old appliances can professionally disposed of and recycled.

SERVICE / GUARANTEE

The period of the guarantee is three years and begins upon the date of purchase. Please be sure to save the sales receipt for proof of the date of purchase.

The guarantee is valid for appliances that were purchased within Germany. It covers defects and malfunctions that occur within the period of the guarantee through normal use and are caused by defects in materials or workmanship.

If the guarantee is covered, you will incur no costs for the repairs.

The guarantee expires in the cases of damage, alterations or improper use of the appliance insofar as this falls outside of the area of responsibility of the guarantor. This is particularly valid in the following cases:

• Interference with the appliance by unauthorized persons.

• Alterations on or within the appliance, the removal of the serial number or the rendering of it illegible, removal or alteration of the appliance’s label.

• Damages caused by impacts, falls or other external agents.

• Damages caused by improper usage or misuse.

• Damages caused by external factors, such as, for example: excess voltage, lightning.

• Commercial usage of the appliance.

Your legal rights in the case of a defect with the appliance (additional delivery, withdrawal, reduction, damage compensation, always in accordance with § 437 of the German Civil Code [BGB]) will not be limited by this guarantee.

Lors de l'utilisation d'appareils électriques, des indications de sécurité fondamentales sont à respecter. Afin d’éviter tout danger de brûlures, de décharges électriques, de feux et/ou de dommages aux personnes, veuillez lire, avant la mise en service de l’appareil, le présent mode d’emploi attentivement et respectez l'ensemble des indications pendant l'utilisation de l'appareil. Préservez ce mode d’emploi précieusement pour toute utilisation ultérieure. Lors de la transmission de cet appareil à des tiers, fournir également le présent mode d'emploi.

INDICATIONS DE SÉCURITÉ IMPORTANTES

• ne brancher l’appareil qu’à une prise installée conformément aux dispositions de sécurité en vigueur. Ne pas utiliser de prises multiples ou des rallonges.

• La tension indiquée sur la plaque signalétique de l’appareil doit être conforme à la tension de votre secteur d'alimentation.

• Lors de la pose du câble d’alimentation, veiller à l’installer à ce que personne ne se prenne les pieds dedans lors du fonctionnement de l’appareil.

• Tenir le câble d’alimentation éloigné des surfaces chaudes, des flammes ouvertes et des arêtes tranchantes.

• Ne jamais toucher l’appareil, le socle, le câble d’alimentation et la fiche avec des mains humides ou mouillées.

• Ne jamais plonger l'appareil, le socle, le câble d’alimentation et la fiche dans de l'eau ou dans d'autres liquides. Il y a danger de mort par électrocution!

• En retirant la fiche de secteur, tirer toujours au niveau de la fiche et jamais au niveau du câble.

• Ne pas utiliser l’appareil en extérieur.

• Votre bouilloire ne doit être utilisée qu’avec le socle qui lui est associé.

• Veuillez observer les indications de niveau d’eau (Min./Max.) sur l’appareil. Un niveau d'eau en-dessous de la quantité minimale peut provoquer la surchauffe de l'appareil. Un dépassement du niveau peut provoquer le débordement de l’eau bouillante.

• L’appareil ne doit pas être mis en fonctionnement sans l'avoir rempli d'eau. Evitez toute surchauffe de l'appareil.

• Ne pas laisser l’appareil fonctionner sans surveillance.

• Lors du fonctionnement, l’appareil et le couvercle chauffent fortement. Ne toucher l’appareil qu’au niveau des poignées. Danger de brûlures!

• Ne pas enlever le couvercle lorsque l’eau bout et en versant l’eau bouillante ! Risque de brûlures.

• Ne jamais diriger le bec de la bouilloire vers des personnes ou objets ou des animaux, il y a danger de brûlures par la vapeur chaude dégagée par l'eau bouillante.

• Avant le nettoyage, toujours débrancher l’appareil et le laisser refroidir entièrement.

• Les enfants ne reconnaissent pas les dangers inhérents à l’utilisation des appareils électriques. Garder les enfants à distance de l'appareil. Lors de l’utilisation de l’appareil, soyez particulièrement vigilants quand des enfants se trouvent à proximité!

• Conserver les matières d’emballage comme les sacs d’emballage et des parties en polystyrène hors de portée des enfants. Danger d’étouffement!

• Ne jamais utiliser l’appareil quand il endommagé, s'il est tombé ou s'il ne fonctionne pas correctement.

• Inspecter régulièrement l’appareil, le cordon ou la fiche de secteur afin de s’assurer qu’ils ne sont pas endommagés. N’utiliser l’appareil en aucun cas si des endommagements sont constatés. N’essayez pas de réparer l'appareil vous-même.

• Les réparations doivent être réalisées par du personnel spécialisé et qualifié.

• N’utiliser l’appareil que sur des surfaces résistantes à la chaleur. Ne pas positionner l’appareil à proximité de sources de chaleurs ou de flammes ouvertes.

• N’utilisez votre bouilloire que pour faire bouillir de l’eau. N’utilisez pas la bouilloire pour faire bouillir d’autres liquides (p.ex. du lait) ou pour faire chauffer/cuire des aliments dans un bain-marie.

• Cet appareil n’est prévu que pour une utilisation privée et non à des fins industrielles.

Information importante :

Nous recommandons de rinçer l’appareil avant la première utilisation en suivant la méthode décrite ci-dessous. Pour ceci remplir le réservoir d'eau fraîche et laisser fonctionner l’appareil une fois et jeter l’eau par la suite. Ceci permet d’éliminer des résidus de poussière ou autres du processus de fabrication.

• Placer le socle sur une surface stable, plane et résistante à la chaleur. Veiller à ce que l’appareil ne puisse bouger ou culbuter.

• Ouvrir le couvercle de la bouilloire en tirant la poignée vers le haut.

MANIPULATION DE L’APPAREIL / NETTOYAGE ET SOIN / DÉTARTRAGE

• Remplir le réservoir avec de l’eau claire et fraîche. La quantité d’eau doit se trouver entre les indications de niveau d’eau (min./max.) de l’appareil. Un niveau d'eau en-dessous de la quantité minimale peut provoquer la surchauffe de l'appareil. Un dépassement du niveau peut provoquer le débordement de l’eau bouillante.

• Remplir le réservoir avec de l'eau fraîche à chaque utilisation. Jeter l’eau refroidie et non fraîche restante dans la bouilloire.

• Ensuite, refermer le couvercle, car l'appareil ne s'arrêtera pas automatiquement dès que l’eau arrivera à ébulition si le couvercle reste ouvert.

• Positionner l'appareil sur son socle et le brancher sur le secteur.

• Ne jamais diriger le bec de la bouilloire vers des personnes ou objets ou des animaux, il y a danger de brûlures par la vapeur chaude dégagée par l'eau bouillante.

• Dès qu'on soulève la bouilloire de son socle, elle s'arrêtera immédiatement.

• La bouilloire est équipée d’une protection de surchauffe empêchant de fonctionner sans eau. La bouilloire s'arrêtera immédiatement, lorsque elle est accidentellement mise en marche sans eau. Dans ce cas, laisser refroidir la bouilloire pendant au minimum 15 minutes avant de la remplir à nouveau.

• En cas d’une non utilisation de l'appareil, ôter la fiche de secteur de la prise.

Attention :

Avant le nettoyage, toujours débrancher l’appareil et le laisser refroidir entièrement.

NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN

• Ne plongez jamais l'appareil, le socle, le câble d’alimentation et la fiche dans l’eau.

• Le socle, le câble d’alimentation et la fiche ne doivent être nettoyés qu’avec un chiffon sec.

• L'extérieur du réservoir peut être nettoyé à l'aide d'un chiffon humide et séché par la suite.

• Ne jamais utiliser des détergents aggressifs, des brosses métalliques, de la poudre recurante ou autres objets durs et pointus pouvant endommager les surfaces.

L’appareil doit être détartré de façon régulière. Les intervalles dépendent de la dureté de l’eau utilisée et de la fréquence d'utilisation. Afin de garantir la sécurité de fonctionnement de l’appareil, il convient d’enlever immédiatement toute trace de calcaire. Pour détartrer, mélanger du vinaigre (pas d’essence de vinaigre) avec de l’eau dans une proportion de 1:3.

• Verser le mélange eau-vinaigre jusqu’au marquage max. dans le réservoir et le laisser agir pendant 1 heure.

• Ensuite, faire bouillir cette solution de détartrage dans la bouilloire et la jeter.

• Rincer la bouilloire en remplissant le réservoir avec de l'eau fraîche jusqu’au marquage max., le faire bouillir et jeter par la suite.

• Ne pas jeter dans la poubelle les appareils électriques hors d’usage. La juridiction prévoit que les appareils électriques hors d’usage soient enlevés dans des lieux de dépôt des déchets spécifiques de la commune ou via un ramassage des objets encombrants.

• C'est la seule manière de garantir que les appareils électriques hors d’usage soient enlevés et recyclés correctement.

SERVICE APRES-VENTE/GARANTIE

La durée de garantie est de 3 ans à compter de la date d’achat. Pour preuve de la date d’achat, conserver obligatoirement le ticket de caisse.

La garantie s’applique aux appareils ayant été achetés en Allemagne. Elle couvre des défauts et dysfonctionnements apparus dans le cadre de la garantie et d’une utilisation normale et dus à des vices de matériaux et de fabrication.

En cas de sollicitation justifiée de la garantie, aucun coût ne vous est facturé pour les réparations.

Durante l’utilizzo di apparecchi elettrici è importante far attenzione alle fondamentali istruzioni di sicurezza. Per evitare il pericolo di scottature, scosse, incendi e/o danni a persone leggere attentamente le istruzioni per l’uso prima della messa in funzione dell’apparecchio e durante l’utilizzo rispettare tutte le indicazioni. Conservare le presenti istruzioni per una futura consultazione. Se l'apparecchio viene consegnato a terzi è importante allegarvi anche le istruzioni per l'uso.

• Collegare la spina dell’apparecchio ad una presa regolamentare. Non utilizzare mai prese da tavolo o prolunghe.

• La tensione presente sulla targhetta indicatrice dell’apparecchio deve corrispondere alla tensione della rete elettrica.

• Durante lo spostamento del cavo far attenzione a non inciampare nel filo.

• Tenere lontano il cavo da superfici calde, fiamma viva, nonché da angoli taglienti.

• Non toccare mai l’apparecchio, la base d’appoggio, il cavo e la spina con mani umide o bagnate.

• Non immergere mai l’apparecchio, la base d’appoggio, il cavo d’alimentazione o la spina in acqua o altri liquidi. Pericolo di vita per scosse elettriche!

• Tirare la spina tenendola sempre bene e non dal cavo.

• Rispettare le tacche di riempimento (Min./Max.) dell’apparecchio. Se il livello dell’acqua è troppo basso l’apparecchio rischia di surriscaldarsi. Se il livello dell’acqua è troppo alto l’acqua rischia di fuoriuscire.

• Non mettere in funzione o riscaldare l’apparecchio senza contenuto. Far attenzione a non surriscaldare l’apparecchio.

• Non lasciare mai incustodito l’apparecchio durante l’utilizzo.

• Durante il funzionamento l’apparecchio e il coperchio si surriscaldano molto. Toccare l’apparecchio solo tramite i manici. Pericolo di scottatura!

• Far attenzione che durante il processo di ebollizione e mentre si versa l’acqua il coperchio sia ben chiuso. Pericolo di scottatura.

• Far attenzione che il beccuccio per la fuoriuscita dell’acqua non sia rivolto a persone o oggetti in quanto durante il processo di ebollizione fuoriesce vapore molto caldo.

• Prima della pulizia dell’apparecchio tirare sempre la spina e lasciarlo raffreddare completamente.

• I bambini non riconoscono i pericoli che possono verificarsi da un utilizzo improprio di apparecchi elettrici. Mantenere i bambini lontani dall'apparecchio. Fare particolarmente attenzione durante l’utilizzo dell’apparecchio se ci sono bambini nelle vicinanze!

• Tenere lontano dalla portata dei bambini il materiale d’imballaggio, come sacchetti in plastica e pezzi in polistirolo. Percolo di soffocamento!

• Non utilizzare l’apparecchio se presenta guasti, se è caduto o se presenti difetti.

• Le riparazioni devono essere effettuate solo da personale qualificato.

• Utilizzare l’apparecchio solo per bollire acqua. Non utilizzare l’apparecchio per scaldare altri liquidi (ad es. latte) o per riscaldare/cuocere alimenti a bagnomaria.

• L’apparecchio deve essere utilizzato solo in ambienti domestici e non per scopi commerciali.

Importante:

Si consiglia di pulire il contenitore dell’acqua prima dell’utilizzo secondo le istruzioni di seguito riportate facendo bollire una volta l’acqua e buttandola via. In tal modo vengono rimossi polvere o residui del processo di fabbricazione.

• Posizionare la base su una superficie stabile, piana e resistente al calore. Far attenzione che l’apparecchio non cada o venga rovesciato.

• Aprire il coperchio dell’apparecchio tirando il manico del coperchio.

• Riempire il contenitore con acqua fredda. La quantità d’acqua deve essere tra i segni di riempimento (min. / max.) dell'apparecchio. Se il livello dell’acqua è troppo basso l’apparecchio rischia di surriscaldarsi. Se il livello dell’acqua è troppo alto l’acqua rischia di fuoriuscire.

UTILIZZO DELL’APPARECCHIO / PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE / DECALCIFICAZIONE

• Riempire il serbatoio con acqua fresca prima di ogni ebollizione. Versare via acqua fredda rimasta nel serbatoio.

• Chiudere di nuovo il coperchio in quanto l’apparecchio si spegne automaticamente quando l’acqua bolle solo se il coperchio è ben chiuso.

• Posizionare l’apparecchio sulla base e collegare il cavo.

• Far attenzione che il beccuccio per la fuoriuscita dell’acqua non sia rivolto a persone o oggetti in quanto durante il processo di ebollizione fuoriesce vapore molto caldo.

• Posizionare l’interruttore dell’apparecchio su „1“, la spia luminosa si accende per indicare che l'apparecchio è in funzione. L’acqua ora viene riscaldata.

• Far attenzione che durante il processo di ebollizione il coperchio sia ben chiuso. Pericolo di scottatura.

• Dopo che l’acqua ha raggiunto il punto di ebollizione l’apparecchio si spegne automaticamente. L’interruttore passa a “0” e la spia luminosa si spegne.

• Attendere qualche secondo prima di versare l’acqua. Non aprire il coperchio durante l’ebollizione e mentre si versa l’acqua.

• Alzando l'apparecchio dalla base il processo di riscaldamento viene interrotto immediatamente. L’apparecchio si spegne.

• Il bollitore è dotato di un dispositivo di sicurezza per il surriscaldamento che interrompe il funzionamento quando l’apparecchio viene acceso erroneamente senza acqua. In tal caso lasciar raffreddare l'apparecchio per circa 15 minuti prima di versarvi dell'acqua e metterlo nuovamente in funzione.

• Tirare la spina dalla presa se l’apparecchio non viene utilizzato.

Attenzione:

Prima della pulizia dell’apparecchio tirare sempre la spina e lasciarlo raffreddare completamente.

PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE

• Non immergere mai l’apparecchio, la base, il cavo e la spina in acqua.

• Pulire la base, il cavo e la spina solo con un panno asciutto.

• Pulire la parte esterna del contenitore con un panno umido e poi asciugarla con cura.

• Non utilizzare spazzole metalliche, creme abrasive o simili che potrebbero graffiare le superfici dell’apparecchio.

DECALCIFICAZIONE

L’apparecchio deve essere decalcificato a intervalli regolari. Gli intervalli dipendono dal grado di durezza dell’acqua utilizzata e dalla frequenza di utilizzo. Per garantire la sicurezza di funzionamento dell’apparecchio è importante rimuovere immediatamente le calcificazioni evidenti. Per la decalcificazione utilizzare una miscela di aceto (nessuna essenza) con acqua in un rapporto di 1:3.

• Riempire l’apparecchio fino al massimo con la soluzione d’aceto e lasciarlo agire nel contenitore per circa 1 ora.

• Far bollire poi la soluzione e gettarla via.

• Riempire poi con acqua fredda il bollitore fino al massimo, far bollire l’acqua e gettarla via.

ASSISTENZA / GARANZIA

La garanzia ha una durata di 3 anni e ha inizio dalla data presente sullo scontrino. Come prova della data di acquisto conservare assolutamente lo scontrino.

La garanzia vale per i dispositivi acquistati in Germania. Copre difetti e funzionamenti errati che potrebbero verificarsi durante il periodo ricoperto dalla garanzia e difetti di fabbricazione.

In caso di garanzia non ci sono costi per effettuazione delle riparazioni.

La garanzia non è valida in caso di guasti, modifiche o utilizzo inappropriato dell’apparecchio. Ciò vale particolarmente nei seguenti casi:

• Utilizzo dell’apparecchio da personale non autorizzato.

• Modifiche all’apparecchio, rimozione o non riconoscimento del numero di serie, rimozione o modifica del sigillo del dispositivo.

• Danni causati da cadute o influenze esterne.

INHOUDSOPGAVE

Bij het gebruik van elektrische apparaten moeten een aantal elementaire veiligheidsmaatregelen in acht genomen worden. Om het gevaar van brandwonden, elektrische schokken, brand en/of persoonlijke letsels te vermijden, dient u deze gebruiksaanwijzing voor de ingebruikneming van het apparaat aandachtig door te lezen en moet u bij het gebruik van het apparaat alle instructies in acht nemen. Bewaar deze gebruiksaanwijzing zorgvuldig voor later gebruik. Als u dit apparaat aan derden doorgeeft, geef deze gebruiksaanwijzing dan mee door.

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSAANWIJZINGEN

• Sluit het apparaat alleen aan op een reglementair geaard stopcontact. Gebruik geen tafelcontactdooslijst of verlengkabel.

• De op het typeplaatje aangegeven spanning moet met de spanning van uw stroomnet overeenstemmen.

• Let er bij het leggen van het stroomsnoer op dat niemand erover kan vallen als het apparaat in gebruik is.

• Houd het stroomsnoer uit de buurt van warme oppervlakken, open vlammen en scherpe kanten.

• Raak het apparaat, het basisstation, het stroomsnoer en de stroomstekker nooit aan met vochtige of natte handen.

• Het apparaat, het basisstation, het stroomsnoer of de stroomstekker nooit onderdompelen in water of in andere vloeistoffen. Een elektrische schok kan levensgevaarlijk zijn!

• Als u de stroomstekker uittrekt, trek dan steeds aan de stekker en nooit aan de kabel.

• Gebruik het apparaat niet buiten.

• Gebruik het apparaat enkel op het bijgevoegde basisstation.

• Let op de vulmarkeringen (Min. / Max.) van het apparaat. Bij een te kleine waterhoeveelheid kan het apparaat oververhit geraken. Bij een te grote waterhoeveelheid kan het kokende water eruit spatten.

• Het apparaat mag niet zonder inhoud gebruikt worden. Let erop dat het apparaat niet oververhit wordt.

• Laat het apparaat tijdens het gebruik niet zonder toezicht achter

• Tijdens het bedrijf worden het apparaat en het deksel sterk verhit. Raak het apparaat enkel aan de grepen aan. Gevaar voor brandwonden!

• Let erop dat het deksel tijdens de kookprocedure en tijdens het uitgieten steeds goed gesloten is. Gevaar van brandwonden.

• Let erop dat de gietopening van het apparaat niet op personen of voorwerpen wijst, aangezien tijdens het koken door de opening warme stoom ontsnapt.

• Trek voor elke reiniging steeds de stroomstekker uit het stopcontact en laat het apparaat volledig afkoelen..

• Kinderen herkennen de gevaren niet die de omgang met elektroapparatuur met zich meebrengt. Houd kinderen uit de buurt van het apparaat. Wees bij het gebruik van het apparaat alstublieft bijzonder waakzaam als er kinderen in de buurt zijn!

• Houd verpakkingsmaterialen zoals plastic zakken en styropoordelen buiten het bereik van kinderen. Verstikkingsgevaar!

• Gebruik het apparaat niet als het beschadigingen vertoont, als het gevallen is of als het niet onberispelijk werkt.

• Controleer het apparaat, het stroomsnoer en de stroomstekker geregeld op zichtbare beschadigingen. Gebruik het apparaat in geen geval als u beschadigingen vastgesteld hebt. Probeer nooit om het apparaat zelf te herstellen.

• Reparaties mogen enkel door gekwalificeerd vakpersoneel uitgevoerd worden.

• Gebruik het apparaat enkel op hittebestendige oppervlakken. Stel het apparaat niet op in de buurt van warmtebronnen of open vuur.

• Gebruik het apparaat uitsluitend voor het koken van water. Gebruik het apparaat niet om andere vloeistoffen (zoals melk) te verwarmen of om gerechten in het waterreservoir te verwarmen/koken.

• Het apparaat is enkel voor gebruik in het huishouden en niet voor commercieel gebruik bedoeld.

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEID SAANWIJZINGEN / OVERZICHT VAN HET APPARAAT / GEBRUIK VAN HET APPARAAT

Belangrijke opmerking:

We raden aan om het reservoir van het apparaat voor het eerste gebruik volgens de beschreven gebruiksaanwijzing te reinigen door een keer water te koken en weg te gieten. Op die manier worden mogelijke stofdeeltjes en restanten van het productieproces verwijderd.

• Plaats het basisstation op een stabiel, effen en warmtebestendig standvlak. Let erop dat het apparaat niet kan verschuiven of kan kantelen.

• Open het deksel van het apparaat door de dekselgreep omhoog te trekken.

• Vul het reservoir met zuiver water. De waterhoeveelheid moet zich tussen de vulmarkeringen (Min. / Max.) van het apparaat bevinden. Bij een te kleine waterhoeveelheid kan het apparaat oververhit geraken. Bij een te grote waterhoeveelheid kan het kokende water eruit spatten

• Vul het reservoir voor iedere kookprocedure met zuiver koud water. Giet het in het reservoir achtergebleven, koud geworden en verschaald water weg..

GEBRUIK VAN HET APPARAAT / REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD / ONTKALKEN

• Sluit vervolgens het deksel terug, aangezien het apparaat enkel bij een gesloten deksel automatisch uitschakelt als het water kookt.

• Plaats het apparaat op het basisstation en steek de stroomstekker in het stopcontact.

• Let erop dat de gietopening van het apparaat niet op personen of voorwerpen wijst, aangezien tijdens het koken door de opening warme stoom ontsnapt.

• Zet de schakelaar van het apparaat op "1'. De controlelamp geeft aan dat het apparaat ingeschakeld is. Het water wordt nu verwarmd.

• Let erop dat het deksel tijdens de kookprocedure steeds goed gesloten is. Gevaar van brandwonden.

• Nadat het water gekookt heeft, schakelt het apparaat automatisch uit. De schakelaar springt terug op "0" en de controlelamp dooft.

• Wacht na het verwarmen van het water een moment tot het water niet meer borrelt. Open het deksel niet tijdens het koken en tijdens het uitgieten.

• Door het apparaat van het basisstation te halen, wordt de verwarmingsprocedure meteen onderbroken/beëindigd. Het apparaat schakelt uit.

• De waterkoker is met een oververhittingbeveiliging uitgerust die de werking onderbreekt als het apparaat per ongeluk zonder water ingeschakeld wordt. In dit geval moet het apparaat minstens 15 minuten afkoelen voor het gevuld wordt met water en opnieuw in gebruik genomen wordt.

• Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact als het apparaat niet meer gebruikt wordt.

Opgelet:

Trek voor elke reiniging steeds de stroomstekker uit het stopcontact en laat het apparaat volledig afkoelen.

REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD

• Het apparaat, het basisstation, het stroomsnoer en de stroomstekker mogen voor de reiniging niet ondergedompeld worden in water.

• Het basisstation, het stroomsnoer en de stroomstekker mogen enkel met een droge doek gereinigd worden.

• De buitenkant van het reservoir van het apparaat mag met een bevochtigde doek afgewist en moet vervolgens zorgvuldig afgedroogd worden.

• Gebruik voor de reiniging geen agressieve reinigingsmiddelen, staalborstels, schuurpoeder of andere harde voorwerpen die krassen op de oppervlakken en de antikleeflaag kunnen maken.

ONTKALKEN

Het apparaat moet geregeld ontkalkt worden. De intervals zijn afhankelijk van de hardheidsgraad van het gebruikte water en de gebruiksfrequentie. Om de bedrijfszekerheid van het apparaat te waarborgen, moet vooral de zichtbare kalkaanslag onmiddellijk verwijderd worden. Gebruik voor het ontkalken een mengeling van azijn (geen essence) met water, in een mengverhouding van 1:3.

• Vul het apparaat tot aan de maximum vulhoogte met de azijnoplossing en laat deze gedurende circa 1 uur in het reservoir staan.

• Kook vervolgens de azijnoplossing in het apparaat en giet ze daarna uit.

• Vul de waterkoker vervolgens tot aan de maximum vulhoogte met zuiver water, kook dit en giet het aansluitend weg.

AANWIJZINGEN VOOR DE AFDANKING

• Oude elektroapparatuur hoort niet thuis bij het huisvuil. De wetgever schrijft voor dat oude apparatuur naar de openbare verzamelplaatsen van de gemeente gebracht moet worden of als groot vuil opgehaald dient te worden.

• Alleen zo is gewaarborgd dat oude apparatuur vakkundig verwijderd en gerecycleerd wordt.

SERVICE / GARANTIE

De garantietijd bedraagt 3 jaar en begint met de datum van aankoop. Om de datum van aankoop aan te tonen absoluut het aankoopbewijs bewaren.

De garantie geldt voor apparaten die in Duitsland gekocht werden. Ze dekt defecten en storingen die binnen de garantietijd bij een normaal gebruik optreden en die toe te schrijven zijn aan materiaal- of verwerkingsfouten.

Bij een geval van garantie ontstaan voor u voor de uitvoering van de reparatie geen kosten.

De garantie vervalt bij beschadiging, wijzigingen of bij een verkeerd gebruik van het apparaat, voor zover deze buiten het verantwoordelijkheidsbereik van de garantieverstrekker vallen. Dit geldt in het bijzonder in de volgende gevallen:

• Ingreep aan het apparaat door niet geautoriseerde personen.

• Wijzigingen aan of in het apparaat, verwijdering of onkenbaar maken van het serienummer, verwijdering of wijziging van de apparaatzegel.

• Bij schade die toe te schrijven is aan stoten, vallen of externe invloeden.

• Bij schade die toe te schrijven is aan een onvakkundige handhaving of een verkeerd gebruik.

• Bij schade door externe oorzaken, zoals overspanning, blikseminslag.

• Een commercieel gebruik van het apparaat

Uw wettelijke rechten bij een gebrek van het apparaat (nalevering, terugtrekking, vermindering, schadevergoeding telkens in overeenstemming met § 437 van het Duits Burgerlijk Wetboek) worden door deze garantie niet beperkt.
