Battery/Power Supply Installation
1. Transmitter
When the Transmitter uses batteries: Open the battery compartment, insert two AA A(1.5V) batteries into the battery compartment with the (+) and (-) poles correctly positioned, then close the battery compartment.
When the Transmitter uses DC power: Insert the DC plug into Transmitter’s DC power input jack. If there are batteries inside the Transmitter, the Transmitter will disconnect from the batteries automati­cally. When the DC plug is disconnected from the Transmitter’s DC input jack, the Transmitter will reconnect to the batteries automatically.
2. Headphones
Twist and remove the left ear cushion of the headphones, insert two AAA (1.5V) batteries into the battery compartment with the (+) and (-) poles positioned correctly, then replace the left ear cushion.
Battery/Power Supply Installation
1. Wireless Headphone Function
A. Connect the Transmitter to audio equipment with the supplied audio cable and turn on the audio equipment to the desired programming.
B. Move the power switch of the Transmitter to the “chA” or “chB” position. The Transmitter’s power and channel LED indicator will illuminate (chA: red, chB: green) and the Transmitter will begin operation.
C. Press the Headphone’s Multi-function button and the Headphone indicator will illuminate (green), the Headphones power “ON” and will start to automatically receive the audio signal from the Transmitter. Press the Multi-function button to select the signal from chA or chB. When no signal is received, the Headphones will make a beeping sound.
D. Using the Volume Control knob, adjust the volume of the Head­phones to the desired listening level. Note: If the Headphones make a
“klucking” sound when playing, lower the volume of the audio source and press the Multi-function button to re-search the Transmitter until the noise is gone.
E. Press and hold the Multi-function button for at least two seconds to turn off the Headphones.
2. Wired Stereo Headphone Function
The SuperEar TV’s Headphones can be used as wired stereo Head­phones. Connect the Headphones to any type of audio equipment, such as a PC, MP3, iPod, etc. with the provided audio connection cable and use when the power is off or the batteries exhausted.
