Using the ATX-GSM
1. To charge the DVR, plug the USB cable provided into the USB por t on the side of the DVR, then into a USB port of a computer or the power adapter provided. It will take abou t 5 hours to fully charge the DVR.
2. Insert an ac tive GSM SIM card into DVR. Insert the card with the top of the card toward the back of the unit, then push the card in until it clicks into place (see the product photo to the le ft). You can use either a contracted AT&T™ card or a contracted or prepaid T-Mobile® card (preferred). After the GSM SIM card is installed, the LED will light gre en for about 6 seconds, indicat ing the device is working.

3. Place a call to the phone number of the installed GSM SIM card. You will be able to hear audio from the device. In this mode, your ATX-GSM is functioning as a voice monitor.

The ATX-GSM is a small, digital audio an d video recorder (DVR) with remote control u sing SMS commands through GSM. It is must useful for live audio monitoring, or audio recording. The product include s the DVR unit, USB cable and power adapter, and clip, magnetic, and sur face mounting brackets. An ac tive GSM SIM card and micro-SD card (cards not provided) are require d to use this product.

For the SMS commands
1. Insert a microSD card (maximum 8GB) into card slot on the r ight side of the DVR.
2. Send an SMS message “000” to the phone number of the GSM SIM card. A few seconds later you will receive the SMS reply “Welcome to use edog your number *** **** has bind success!”. The phone that you sent the message from is now the only phone that can control the DVR.
3. Send an SMS message “111” to the phone number of the GSM SIM card. Within 5 ~ 10 minutes, the DVR will reply with a video clip to your phone via MMS. NOTE: The times tamp of the message in your phone will be earlier than the actual time/day your message was sent. You may have to scroll up in your mes sage list to nd the video clip.
4. Send an SMS message “222” to the phone number of the GSM SIM card. The device will star t recording video and reply with the me ssage “Video record is beginning! Please send 333 to stop it later!”. Video les are saved to the microSD card.
5. Send an SMS message “333” to the phone number of the GSM SIM card. The DVR will stop recording and reply with the message “Video record save!”.
6. Send an SMS message “555” to the phone number of the GSM SIM card. The device will star t voice-only recording.
7. Send an SMS message “666” to the phone number of the GSM SIM card. The device will stop voice recording, then save the voice les to the microSD card.
