For the SMS commands
1. Insert a microSD card (maximum 8GB) into card slot on the r ight side of the DVR.
2. Send an SMS message “000” to the phone number of the GSM SIM card. A few seconds later
you will receive the SMS reply “Welcome to use edog your number *** **** has bind
success!”. The phone that you sent the message from is now the only phone that can control the
DVR.
3. Send an SMS message “111” to the phone number of the GSM SIM card. Within 5 ~ 10 minutes,
the DVR will reply with a video clip to your phone via MMS. NOTE: The times tamp of the message
in your phone will be earlier than the actual time/day your message was sent. You may have to
scroll up in your mes sage list to nd the video clip.
4. Send an SMS message “222” to the phone number of the GSM SIM card. The device will star t
recording video and reply with the me ssage “Video record is beginning! Please send 333 to
stop it later!”. Video les are saved to the microSD card.
5. Send an SMS message “333” to the phone number of the GSM SIM card. The DVR will stop
recording and reply with the message “Video record save!”.
6. Send an SMS message “555” to the phone number of the GSM SIM card. The device will star t
voice-only recording.
7. Send an SMS message “666” to the phone number of the GSM SIM card. The device will stop voice
recording, then save the voice les to the microSD card.
