Operating Instructions
The DPG25V is a microcontroller based, digital pressure gauge that can be used with any gas, liquid or solid that is compatible with 17-4 PH stainless steel.
The DPG transducer is a one-piece high strength stainless steel construction that uses no silicone oil, no welds, no o-rings or seals making it ideal for pressure measurements of all kinds.
All functions of the DPG are controlled from 3 front panel push buttons located below the display. Each button has a specific function as described below.
POWER: Press and release this button to turn the DPG ON or OFF. The DPG will automatically turn OFF after one hour to conserve battery power.
ZERO: Press and release this button to place the DPG in RELATIVE PRESSURE mode. When the button is pressed, the display will read ZERO instead of the pressure measurement. Subsequent display readings will be +/- realtive to the original pressure.
UNITS: Press this button to cycle through the UNITS of measurement the DPG25V can display. The DPG25V can measure pressure in PSI and
InHg. This can be changed at any time and will not affect the operation of the DPG.
ZERO SET: Over the course of time it may become necessary to reset the DPG to zero. This is a special function of the DPG and can only be done at zero pressure. Press and hold the POWER and ZERO buttons simultaneously until the display reads “ZERO SET”. Release both buttons and the display will read zero pressure in the current pressure units selected.
LOW BATTERY: The DPG will display a “B” in the upper right corner of the display to indicate the battery is nearly discharged and the DPG will shortly cease operation. For best results replace the battery immediately and use only Alkaline or Lithium 9V batteries.
